I tried to create a new AP File with Auto Tar folder cause of oem unlock is not possible.( Frp Lock sm-g935f). Mentioned by shah22.
I put two files ( recovery.img.lz4 and system.img.lz4 )in the folder and pressed build tar md5; which i want flash to get rid of the oem unlock problem, but it does not work.
Any ideas to fix it.
Put the files in the auto tar folder then proceed

i was following this how to http://theunlockr.com/2012/10/22/how-to-root-the-samsung-galaxy-s-i9000-cf-kernel-method/ and now my phone wont turn on
i was having trouble with the tar file .. in obin when i clicked pda i couldn't see the file after extracting it with 7zip
I have faced it myself, and somehow I fixed it by myself. Since it fails on Hidden.img, my mind clicked.
Here are the steps:
1 - Download your Stock FW, its file extension should be '.zip'.
2 - Extract it anywhere you like, then you get the PDA file which its extension is '.md5'.
3 - Flash it, and wait till it Fails.
3 - Double click to open the .md5 file and choose WinRAR.
4 - There you will find boot.img, system.img and other files, but you will also find the hidden.img.
5 - Extract hidden.img to your desktop and then rename it as hidden.img.tar.
6 - Import hidden.img.tar into ODIN in the PDA tab.
7 - Finally, restart your device into Download Mode, then flash it.
If you have any issues, feel free to ask.

thank you my friend. i almost create a new thread about that problem. appreciate
Many people find this issue while flashing stock frimware via Odin That after system.img is done Odin gets failed so I came up with a fix.
1) On pc open the firmware with winrar (or any other software like 7zip)
2)Then extarct the file named hidden.img from it to any place.
3) Rename the hidden.img file as hidden.img.tar . 4)Reflash the frimware through odin
5)You will get failed again but now flash the hidden.img.tar with odin now it will be successful and your phone will boot.
If the problem is still there or anyone needs to ask something qoute this post and not the whole first post (please)
@naimrlet mention this in the master thread too
This problem also occurs when you are flashing a different stock frimware for same device (e.g. different country firmware for same device) like people flashing aol1 for g531h to make s6/j7 mod by @ERICKONIX, work. This fix will also work that case too

Doing this is the same as not flashing the Hidden partition. You can't just rename it, you need to tar it. Just use 7-zip for it

No it involves flashing the hidden because if you rename with the extension it becomes tar. But sometimes you need to turn an option on the pc to see the extension but to know that it became tar when you rename it, the icon changes from winrar to the icon associated with tar files

Nah no need to tar it just rename
I've downloaded the latest firmware from Sammobile for my phone (G950FXXU1CRB7_G950FOXM1CRB9_BTU.zip - no carrier, UK) and I'm now trying to flash it. I tried to use Flashfire, but it doesn't run properly (it starts up, runs through some checks and then just returns to home screen), so I figured that, being a Linux user, I'd use Heimdall. I do have TWRP on the phone, but, as far as I can tell, the files aren't compatible for flashing with TWRP.
I unzipped the zip file resulting in a bunch of tar.md5 files, which (based on a guide I found online) I renamed to .tar files:
AP_G950FXXU1CRB7_CL12993647_QB17006525_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar
BL_G950FXXU1CRB7_CL12993647_QB17006525_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
CP_G950FXXU1CRAP_CP8821295_CL12993647_QB16754748_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
CSC_OXM_G950FOXM1CRB9_CL12993647_QB17217244_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
HOME_CSC_OXM_G950FOXM1CRB9_CL12993647_QB17217244_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
I then untarred these and got some .lz4 files ( a completely new extension to me):
boot.img.lz4
cache.img.lz4
cm.bin.lz4
modem.bin.lz4
modem_debug.bin.lz4
omr.img.lz4
param.bin.lz4
recovery.img.lz4
sboot.bin.lz4
system.img.lz4
up_param.bin.lz4
userdata.img.lz4
I assume I'm supposed to extract these using lz4?
Which files should I then flash? I'm assuming recovery.img will overwrite TWRP?

Yes you can use "unlz4" to decompress those. recovery.img will overwrite TWRP.
Excellent - thank you. Do I need to flash all the others? What about the modem_debug file?

Hi
How did you get on?
Im new to all this flashing and appeared to have bricked my Samsung S8 with the same AP_G950FXXU1CRB7_CL12993647_QB17006525_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5 as you and im also on a Mac
Ive found that Heimdall is about the only software that will connect to the phone but just where does everything go?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm trying to do the same thing but whenever I use unlz4 or lz4 - d boot.img.lz4 I get an error "Error 64: Does not support stream size". I'm using Debian 8.11.
Can you tell me how you you uncompressed the files or what might be causing my error?
Cheers,
I extracted the ap.tar and extracted the system.img.ext4.lz4 with the modified 7zip that supports extraction of .lz4 files. then i tried to extract the system.img.ext4 with ext4 unpacker(didn't work), supperr kitchen on linux(didnt work), svaimg(completes in 5 seconds and says sdone and the new file is only 200mb so didnt work). I know the ap is fine because i have flashed the ap before onto my phone and it flashed fine. if someone knows how to do it on windows or on ubuntu(linux). please.
ANSWER:Make sure you extract the firmware zip in supers kitchen. Not just the system.img.ext4 because that will give an error. Just drop the firmware zip and extract. It will unpack the lz4 and the ext4 and will unpack system for you even cache if you would like
