PayPal screenshot not allowed - OnePlus 8 Pro Questions & Answers

I am trying to take a screenshot of my PayPal app with my OnePlus 8 Pro however it is telling me:
Taking a screenshot isn't allowed by the app or your organization.
I was able to do this with my OnePlus 6 and my OnePlus 3 but I cannot do it with this device. Does anyone have a way around it or can anyone direct me to a magisk module that disables this to allow me to take screenshots of my PayPal app?

Go in through browser and screenshot instead of app.

No issues with screenshots and PayPal App on my end.
I haven't updated the app in a while though ? so I'm still on 7.22.1

Try Xposed with this module:
https://repo.xposed.info/module/se.valitron.res
It works for me.

if you use the application, it doesn't seem to be able to.
try logging in with the browser only.
So if you want to take screenshot on paypal transaction details. jasa top up paypal You can login using browser.

Xposed Modules

What xposed modules are people using with their Nexus 6P? What would you recommend?
Depends on what you want to do.
>Greenify
>Xgels
>Youtube background playback
>Youtube adaway
>Power Nap
where do I find the powernap module? that sounds interesting but I dont see it in the download section.
I'm wondering too, what would benefit us the most when it comes to xposed modules thanks
Good thread idea

GravityBox MM (tons of mods available)
YouTube Ad away
App Settings (per app DPI, etc)
UnWatch (use airwatch on a rooted device)
ChromePie is great if you use Chrome.
Here are some of my favorite along side some already posted:
Maxlock - per app locking, with finger unlock.
Sensify - allowing play store use of HTC Sense apps
MinminGaurd - adblocker

If you purchase the pro version to greenify they offer a "power doze" setting/option. Sounds like it would be the same thing.
BootManager - stops some apps from starting up with phone
CustomShare - customizes share with menu
GravityBox - tons of tweaks
Greenify - hibernates apps
MaxLock - locks app - can use with fingerprint sensor
MinMinGuard - get rid of in-app ads
Notification Count - adds count of notifications on status bar (shows a 3 if you have 3 emails from gmail for example)
NotifyClean - removes apps from notification bar
Play Store Changelog - shows full changelog and can set store to open on your app page
Use USB for Marshmallow - forces usb to use mtp instead of having to manually select it each time

[Project Fi] Did you get your Fi $10 Play credit yet for the Holidays?

Fi subscribers only.
Just gotta click around through the Holiday setup on Project Fi and one of the "surprises" is a $10 Play Store credit:
https://fiholiday.withgoogle.com/
I recommend buying the 7.1.1 capable Swift Dark or Black Substratum themes:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=7.1.1 swift substratum&c=apps
Or Titanium Backup Pro if you don't already have it.
Or Root Explorer. Another app that EVERYONE should have.
Btw, I'm open to suggestions on what to spend my $10 credit on.
I already have most of the important apps.
I always buy the "Pro" version of any app I like.
Such as Nova.
There aren't any other themes that are fully 7.1.1 capable (that I know of).
I have most of what I need.
Oh yeah,,, there are a bunch of Daydream apps I don't know anything about.
Mebbe I'll get some fancy Daydream app.
Here's a Reddit list:

Anyone else having issues with the sign in button? I get the page but the button is dead.
This site has done some daydream app/game reviews:
http://www.daydreamdistrict.com/all-apps-and-games-available/
I'm leaning towards Hunters Gate or The Arcslinger right now.

I just tested it with a Chrome Icognito tab and it works fine.
Try using a different browser or maybe wipe your browser cache.
That's weird. I can't click from my chromebook, my PC, or my Pixel XL. The sign up button below it works and just throws me to the main page already signed in. WTF.

Paylib problem

Hier everyone
When I use my payment app, "ma carte" which includes paylib app for NFC payments, I don't find the way to make it work. I used this app whithout any problem on other phones. I can launch the app but the option to pay without contact doesn't appear...
If anyone could help me I would like appreciate,?
I hate to ask the obvious, but do you have NFC enabled, and are you aware that it's behind the camera screens?

Hey !
Question : Did you root your phone ?
I'm on OnePlus 6 but it's probably the same.
My bank (CIC) have enabled PayLib through LyfPay app two days ago, used it without problem to buy a beer, but rooted the phone yesterday after this, switched to Franco Kernel.
Magisk indicates that both SafetyNet tests are successful and Magisk is hidden from my bank app and LyfPay, but the PayLib section in the LyfPay app doesn't appear anymore ... Mhhh
Looks like it detected rooting although everything seems fine and hidden ... That's what i ask if you rooted, to see if it's not just an app or service bug and if it could resolve in a few days

Same here.
My bank app detect root and so I can't pay with gpay or bank app by nfc
If you are not seeing the option to make NFC payments in your "ma carte" app, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1# Make sure that NFC is enabled on your phone. You can check this by going to your phone's settings and looking for the NFC option.
2# Ensure that your phone is compatible with the "ma carte" app and paylib app for NFC payments. Check the app's documentation or contact their support team to confirm.
3# Verify that your "ma carte" app and paylib app are up to date. Check the app store for any available updates and install them if necessary.
4# Try removing and reinstalling the "ma carte" app and paylib app to see if that resolves the issue.
5# Check if there are any conflicting apps or settings on your phone that may be interfering with NFC payments. For example, some antivirus apps or battery optimization settings may prevent NFC from functioning properly. Try disabling any such apps or settings temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
6# If none of the above steps solve the problem, contact the "ma carte" and/or paylib support team for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps or be able to identify any specific issues with your account or device that are preventing NFC payments from working properly.

Can you use the in-display fingerprint reader for banking apps?

So I know you need to use the Ambient Display / wake on tap to use the fingerprint reader.
But can you use it for regular fingerprint apps, like a banking app?
I tried finding information about this in Youtube comments and whatnot, but no one replied.
Thanks!
The banking app I use along with other apps that use fingerprint work fine with a fingerprint.
It works with my 2 banking apps.
Also works with other, non banking apps...
Works for me as well, ABN Amro in the Netherlands.
Yes. Works just fine using Numbrs.
It works exactly the same as every other fingerprint reader, so yes.
I can relate. With my Samsung Galaxy S7 my Wells Fargo app would allow me fingerprint to sign in option, not anymore on the OP6T. But on the Cash app, to deposit money it presents the option for fingerprint yet oddly enough only receiving - not when sending money
Yes, works fine
Works with my PNC, Paypal and also MyBuick app
That is very weird. Maybe the app is too old? Or OnePlus has to fix the firmware?
Working on all four of my bank apps
So it was actually well hidden in the settings but I got it to work lol. Thanks for the doubt guys.
Working well with all my bank apps (CapitalOne, BoA, etc)

Works with Barclays in the UK also(Banking and PingIt).
Works fine with USAA, CapitalOne, KeePass, Authy and everything else I've used it for.
Works with Chase, JP Morgan, Citi, American Express, discover, and google pay.
. Yes, you can use fingerprint reader for logging in to your online banking account. Have it set up before you download a banking app, once you go through initial login /password /secret words, etc, a pop up window will ask you if you want to use fingerprint for future logins. Tap yes of course and it should work. Same is for PayPal, ebay for instance
Like everyone else said it works just like any other fingerprint scanner.
PayPal and Bank of America works fine with it.
@Elloco305 the phone settings or the bank app settings?

"If I root" can I still use banking app???

if I flash magisk and things can I log into my starling banking app and view things like normal?

This depends on your Banking App, some of them still work but with a warning every time you start the App. Other ones won't work anymore, use your PC instead.
I agree with Phlipz91
Mine have been fine as long as they're hidden in Magisk
