Yes I would like that possibility as well.
I would like that too . Joy ui 11 is basically miui with green theme , and it’s filled with bloatware all I want is stock android .

Already a detailed tutorial is there by downgrading to MP3 version and updating it to MP6 detailed tutorial and file links are also given over there. I tried it and now i am in Android 9 with root access

Download the MP3 files, the update.zip
Use the USB C cable to connect your phone to your PC. Create a folder called ota on the main drive, the place that has DCIM, Android , Pictures.... etc
Use the code provided *#*#1027#*#* and select local update.
That's it... and you need to reset your phone.

Sorry, I'm new to this stuff. I've tried this but ended up getting the message "The upgrade package does not exist". I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I've made the folder "ota" and put the "update.zip" file inside, click local update and it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? do I have to extract the files?

Current Version: SKYW2005101OS01MQ0
P.S. Just extracted the files into the OTA folder, still doesn't work. This time, no message appears.
Is downgrading can be done without loss of data.?

The network can be chosen. May you choose only 2G. You just need change it in Settings》》》network>>>More>>>mobile netwoeks>>preferred network type>>>auto 4g/3g/2g

I’ve tried to update with the custom cwm and it gave me as error, than the mobile doesn’t start anymore….
So I’ve copy the b117 rom dload folder to the sdcard and with the 3 buttons update I’ve manage to restart the phone.
Than I’ve try to do the same but for the b118 rom but the update hang at the end.
What can I do?
edit: I've manage a way to start the phone... what scare that I had...
Just to mention that you need stock CWM (don't use custom cwm) to flash this.
Managed to flash hwH60-L02_EmotionUI3.0_B60.zip over official 607 via cwm
but lost ota, local ,usb update

This update is already available via OTA update for H60-L02 (everything appears in chinese signs but after updating it you can establish your language, it is multilanguage)
My question is the following:
Allthough the OTA update is multilanguage, there is still one situation where chinese signs are displayed.
This is when I save a number with international prefix (for example +34).
If I save the number without international prefix, the location is displayed in a "normal" way.
Does somebody know why and how I can change it? Please take a look at the attached pictures.

I accidentally flashed all partitions with WOLF's fake rom, which has erased my phone. I can find factory roms for the I8750, but I have the Canadian SGH-T889M.
I just need to flash it with some full rom to get it up and running again - anything. Samsung has no full rom, and I think WOLF took down most of his links. Can someone help me get a copy of a Samsung ATIV S T889M rom? Otherwise, I'm stuck with a brick.

No ROM is leaked for this model. You should go to service center.
There is a safe method to flash customs for carrier models - MBN Creator. I don't know why people still use fakeROMs.

WOLF - You're completely right. I should have used MBN creator. I tried, and it didn't work. I realise now that I probably had to factory reset my phone. If I have to take it to a service center, I may as well just put it in a drawer, because repair costs tend to be crazy, at least in Canada, unfortunately, and I just grabbed an Ativ S NEO on eBay for $200.
Spavlin - Thank you so much for the mobilefileserver link. It's a paid service and it looks super sketchy, but I may sign up. I'll let you know how it goes.

- I used WOLF's MBN creator to make a matching CSC - worked marvellously on my Ativ.

In the past I successfully rooted, S-OFF and installed custom ROMs in my previous phones (HTC Desire, Galaxy 2 & 4 if not mistaken) with the help of this forum, thanks all!
Since last summer I have a Galaxy 5 (I changed homes and Verizon is the only carrier that provides reliable service in my area, so I had to "upgrade" (sarcasm) from my Galaxy 4)
Now I want to root and (if recommended) S-OFF my phone following the instruction provided here, but before starting I want to know what are the minimum requirements (if any!) in terms of Kernel, Build Number, KNOX version... etc to succeed.
I'm attaching screenshots showing the info displayed under the "About phone" menu
If someone that had gone through this process wants to share his/her own experience, please do it. It was quite a long time ago since the last time I embarked in those tasks, so please be as explicit as possible

Like I said in my previous reply, start with step 4. Read step 4 first and go from there.
Now I got it, you mean point 4 in the notes section!
I'll check that when at home, but I checked the link to download the file and it says "Samsung Galaxy 4"... would it be valid for my phone?

Oh, yes sorry. Point 4 in the notes. I read that the file is just improperly named. It is the correct file for the galaxy S5.

In point number 1 of the procedure (1. Place the ROM onto your device (use either internal or ext-sdcard).), to which ROM does it refer? The procedure ask to download 2 files right before that, both with ROM names on it:
- G900V_OC4_Stock_Rooted_ROM
- G900V_OC4_Stock_DeOdexed_ROM
Which one should I place in my device?

I would recommend the one that say stock rooted if you don't plan on theming or using xposed. If you plan on using either of those choose the deodexed one.

I can confirm that the procedure described here worked for my Verizon SG5 under Android 5.0. Thanks to all that made that possible!
I would just comment that in order to disable KNOX, you can follow the procedure posted here
Now I'm working in removing the bloatware of my phone (hopefully without removing any required component to keep the phone working!). Any advise in that sense will be appreciated.

No problem. First uninstall yours Playmarket, Play Services, Google Sync Adapter and Google calendar adapter.
1. Run the installation, but do not continue. Wait for virus scan, version. After approval click Install button.
2. After complete installation, ask the necessary permissions. (auto-start, reliable app, work in the background)

If it is an full ROM just use the update.app inside the zip file. If it is an incremental OTA use the zip file uncompressed.

Sometimes it just needs a factory reset after update to solve some bugs. It´s very common.
Anyway, if you need to find a ROM, try this:

When found appropriate firmware , download and put two unzipped files on USB drive and update manually when you boot up davice (it must detect update, start tapping rapidly on screen till you see message detected, rest is automatic).

Download this zip file from link and unzip this file.
When unzipped, in a folder it will be two files in folder, put them on USB drive and update.

This firmware should work for your device. You have software dated year 2017 and this is the closest match with date 2018
If this above not applicable to your device will try to find best match.

I'm not sure , I do not have your device and do not know what UI is in device.
Find the correct firmware in those two links I posted... (by searching YT9216, there are also pics of UI interface for several devices with brand YT)
