Hey all. I updated my Yureka to 5.1.1 via OTA. Its decent update. However, I miss the old Google dialer & would prefer it over the current Truecaller one [or whatever they call it]. I've seen that there are ways to do this on OnePlus One. Any way to do it on Yureka?

hi everybody,
i'm planning to buy ZUK EDGE from Zuk Official Shop (http://www.zukmobile.cc/buy-zuk-mobile.html)
I'm just concerned about 2 things before my buying :
- Android 7.0 (for the multiwindow mode mainly)
- Multilanguage ROM (French language mostly)
I asked (and a lot of people too did) on the questions page but the people who are answering are once saying "multilanguage is available" and sometimes "just english & chinese".
They updated the sheet recently and it seems clear that Android 7.0 is preinstalled. But which build? They are unclear about it.
I did some researchs on the internet and i found that the most recent and stable build of Android 7.0 for ZUK EDGE is : ZUI 2.5.406
It is apparently bringing every features of Android 7.0, the ability to show "on-screen buttons" (back, menu, app view), and even multilanguage...
Do you have a link to download this 2.5.406 ROM for ZUK EDGE ? Does someone already have it / tried it ?

For what I have seen so far, you'll have to choose between ZUI 2.5 or multi languages. The custom rom are built on 2.3.
Only official rom is 2.5 (my phone came with 2.3 but there was an update ready for 2.5).
I try the 2 Italian rom mention in other post, there is French.
The CM have French too. I'm back on official 2.5,camera is a bit better.

With the OTA,of the update app of zui.
But if you're already rooted, that won't work, you'll need to use the qualcomm tool QTFIL I think, i found the tuto on zuk fan europe I'll try post the link later.

when i open "system Update", it just crashes. my phone goes to first screen.
my phone is Not rootet and bootloader is lock.

I'm just a forum follower, I'm useless with out a good tuto....
From memory it is the official zuk rom, so locked bootloader might work.
fyi, to open the port for qfil i struggle a bit, and once open you need to start the download very very quicly, less than a second....good luck with that.

I buy zuk edge soon. Inside there is zui 2.3 android 6.0 custom rom multilanguage with playstore. I would like change for android 7.0 with French language. Where I can find this Rom please?

yes. the original Rom have a lot of chinese apps but u can uninstall them easily

it's Ok with every thing. i had some crashes and notification issues with my previous ROM. but this Rom is Ok with everything

What i am confused about is the phone is advertised as being released with Android 7.0 and i purchased mine directly from ZUK and they say it's Android 6.0, how is that possible? Did anyone here buy official ROM and if so was there an update to 7.0?

I purchased mine directly from zukmobile.cc and it came with Android 6.0 and no updater app or update option in settings. I flashed the latest ZUI from my previous post using this process and it worked perfectly:

Official? I think so anyway, see my post on the previous page. It has English on it you just have to select it manually in settings.

No, I just downloaded QPST and watched the video on mute. You can see everything he's doing.
Ok so i got the phone and it has Android 7.0 out the box! All is good with that. But i have an issue with "ok google" it is greyed out. Anyone?
Also i am trying to use Flixter movie app and it saying location not set, when i am inputting a postal coder it says i should be more specific, and when i put in a city it states the same. Anyone?! Any help would be appreciated.

You have to flash Stock Oreo first to get NFC working. You can use the TWRP flashable builds.
I have the same issue. Updated to stock Oreo (reteu) NFC weekend. Clean flashed Arrow OS and have no NFC options. Was planning on using magisk so I could use Google pay which is very convenient... If anyone has any idea how to fix, it would be great.
Just have a look at the arrow thread. The developer has made some updates lately that hopefully fix things.
It depends on the ROM. For example, in Arrow it works correctly.

For me it's working with last update before nfc was missing ,you have to flash full stock oreo to get nfc working use twrp stock rom.
the last update has fixed the nfc in arrow Os, so now everything is fixed

I got a Nokia X6 TA-1099 in September 2018, with Custom Oreo Rom (locked!) and rooted.
I unlocked it, loaded the Global Oreo one for Nokia 6.1 Plus few months ago and prompted to upgrade to Pie 3.45 right after. Once I did it, I noticed screen issues (much large screens, going out of the edges basically). One of the members of this forum told me that this happens when the SKUID is CN instead of WW. I checked and mine was CN. The phone is also recognised as TA-1103 now.
since I need a locked phone for banking, certified etc... I downgraded to Oreo Security Patch August 2018 and locked the phone "forever". I then disabled the automatic updates.
do you know if newer releases of Pie (like V3.54H which I am prompted about) will "fit" my screen properly even though I have SKUID CN? Or shall I just wait for Android Q that perhaps does not have this issue?
I am worried I will need to downgrade and I won't be able to do it anymore.

The SKUID will always trouble you. Because starting with Pie. parts of the OS rely on the SKU to enable/disable certain services. You're better off with either of the two:
1. Be on CN ROM and keep your CN SKUID.
2. Be on WW ROM but change your SKUID to WW.
3. Stay on Oreo (bonus lol)
The broken Status bar will continue to bug you when on Pie with CN SKUID. Also, some system features will remain missing/broken, including double-tap to wake.

Can I change the SKUID to WW now that I am on Oreo 8.1 August 2018 patch?
I am not finding any info to confirm this, but I appears that Nokia is now allowing unlock.
I would like to:
- change SKUID to WW
- relock
- upgrade to Pie and follow all the future automatic updates
Do you think this is possible?

Nokia does not allow unlock. You will need to resort to the paid methods.

Is it possiable that i still need CN SKUID(for my wifi and signal) but with Lineage OS experience?
i really enjoy the Lineage OS or Evolution X or Resurrection-Remix, but i cant find the CN version ROMs like this....

İt is very good for me but I cant find some answers.
1. I cant see Sım Card Contacts. İs it normal? I could transfered them to phone with Contacs App but I want to see, change, delete Sim Contacts manuelly.
And when İ downloaded an app it uses phone contact, contacts are being deleted.. İ cant understand this..
2. Rom update menu is not working. Always it says Check the connection Try again later
3. Android 9 has 3 options about lock screen. When you get a message, you cant see the notıfication or see the notification but cant read text and you can see notification and text. But in my menu, I can see 2 options. And I cant get the notifications without text.
4. When the charge finish, it says full but I still see the symbol like it is still charging

Nu1- i really don't have any idea
2-this rom is no more available for ota and devs now work on Q (that i heavily prefer you to use that version instead)
3-it's rom dependent..i really didn't ever seen rom that doesn't have this
4-it is just a simple thing and it's not a problem!
Maybe a bug i don't know but i think it's just fine!
Use Android Q bro!
Or just other pie rom

1. İt is really an interesting situation.
2. İ downloaded and got some problems. İ removed cause of İ cant tell problems in English to developers =(
3. İ tried all and İ sold a Tablet has Stock rom Pie. İ saw the same.. But on Android Mars, i could hide the text but get the notifications from apps.
4. İ had battery problems so İ cant be sure the charge is full. İ asked so.
İ tried all other stabil pie roms but it was the most stabil for my phone.

Sorry - it was not clear to me, that this thread in about j5 2015 - you are right, for this phone there are many roms out there.
For the j5 2017 there is no simple lineage rom to find...

Yes İ have J5 2015 - j500f
İ have parts on my sdcard. But the other roms didnt see these parts. And İ formated card and particioned again but couldnt send data to sd card ex4 after that..
So İ removed that roms. İ only can use Ex4 for sending some app data with this Pie rom. İt works only this rom for me.
İ hope i can tell what İ want to tell in Eng.
