I've put this thread here to give you guys a variety of launchers found on the market. I, like many of you, get bored using the stock launcher or it hasn't got the ability to customize it the way we'd like, so we'd like more a choice. So rather than having to find them all over the place I will keep everything here in one place and will try and find as many as I can and update the thread with any further updates the developers release for the launchers.
If you notice any information in this guide which is incorrect, or any bad links, let me know and I'll fix it as soon as possible. Also, I know that there are a load that aren't on this list, so if there are some which aren't on the list but you think they should be, let me know and I'll look into them and update the list.

This application has been designed to minimize memory usage and be fast: the more memory you have for your applications, the faster they will run. In other words Lightning Launcher has been built from the ground to preserve your phone's resources and keep it smooth.
In spite of its ridiculously small size (less than 60kb!), Lightning Launcher is packed with a fair amount of features and brings to Android a very unique concept: the home screen can be seen as a giant surface on which you are free to put icons, shortcuts or widgets exactly where YOU WANT, and not limited to a 4x4 grid. Pinch to zoom in or out the desktop, use the home key to switch between a full scale view or the normal size, or double tap on empty space as in the web browser to immediately see all your icons. From my personal experience, GO launcher and FTL launcher use the least memory. A quick google search seemed to confirm that aswell.

How to install :
1. Copy zip file to your sdcard/memory card
2. please do clean install (factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and then flash it)
3. flash it with your custom recovery (TWRP or CWM)
4. after first boot wait about 5-10 minutes if pop up for samsung account to update appear press no.
5. if your status bar still black reboot it again

3. AOSP lockscreen MMS and phone not working and shortcut for google is dissapear (FIXED)
4. toggle for touchwiz rotation not working

Hmm can i know more spesific, what device ROM do you use?
because on my device all go just fine sms, missed call show at status bar and led lamp blinking blue for missedcall green for message

So I've had quite a few people point out that the padding does not follow Material guidelines (which is 16dp).. Although I do agree that it needs spaced over a little more, but I'm not sure how I feel about 16dp yet (but it is growing on me the more I see it). Below is a screenshot of the padding adjusted to follow material guidelines..thoughts?

Looking between the current setup and the 16dp I personally prefer the 16dp
I'll have an update tomorrow with more UI improvements and small bug fixes. This will probably be the last update for a week or so, at least until I can get more of the important stuff done (ie pull to refresh..etc), I dont like having a bunch of small releases back to back to back, like I have been doing these last couple of days lol. But I want to get this next release out soon because it puts things more inline with Material guidelines.

Tbh as an end user I personally prefer having larger releases with more content unless it is just a bug fix release take your time to make a stellar product.

Do you mind changing that the app requires a touchscreen there are devices that do not have touchscreen such as TV based devices
