Just got Nova 7i out of the box and I'm aware of the Google Huawei issues.
Installed microG and vanced APKs (latest versions) but when I log in I get infinite "just a sec" screen right after I enter my Google details
Is it because of my device itself or it's a bug that can be fixed?

I have a YU Yureka running Android 5.1.1 ( cm-12.1-20151007-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO338-tomato.zip build) with TWRP Recovery (V 2.8.6.0) and OpenGApps (open_gapps-arm64-5.1-micro-20151102.zip build).
A couple of days back I got a notification saying that I have a OTA update to my ROM (cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K5-tomato.zip build). After i gave it the command, it automatically downloaded and installed my update (Just like CM Updater). However, when my phone rebooted, instead the Google Now Launcher, it reverted back to Trebuchet. When I tried to install the launcher, i found that my Play Store was missing. I went to the home area (not the app list) and tapped on the Google Search Bar(which remained intact) to check for solutions when i got a message saying Google Play Services is incompatible with your device. Contact Device manufacturer for help.
I tried to boot to recovery and flash the Open GApps zip file (the same as aforementioned) but it did not flash and it gave me Error Code : 30. In the end, I formatted my device and reverted to my previous CM build.
Please help. I need to know whether i can update my phone's software without having this issue.

Yes me too ! The Google Play Services demands update as half the apps are not working and ehen updated, the 'Play Services unfortunately stops' . The pop up irritating msg does not allow to proceed with any action till the update is uninstalled ! What damn irritating ! Can anybody help !
Hey i was formmated my zte a2017 chinnese version and install b10 version all is working right but when i am entering my email i stuck on checking info how i can fix that?
I think the server is slow sometimes. Try it again and wait for it.
I've just received my brand new ZTE Axon 7 and I couldn't installed anything, cause it stuck on configuration of Google Play, on 'Checking info'. After couple hours I found problem, Mi-Assistant.
1. Open Mi-Assistant application
2. Open Auto-run Manager
3. Enable Google Play Services
4. Restart device
5. If it won't help try to disable Mi-Assistant na configure Google Play while disabled.
This worked for me, hope it will help others.
I have an axon 7 I have installed google play and google service but it is loading and it does not open, I downloaded google now it loads of the error on the left side there is this message that my device is not compatible did someone already have it? so you can help me .. I know gogole play coming from china does not come with play store but I need it then ...
Try downloading your matching version from APKmirror (Search google)
you need VER: 8.5.39.W-all[0][PR]178322352
first uninstall what you have now,
than reboot phone
than install version above
than reboot again (message may still show up but it will go away)

I've been trying to flash a new Rom after I got sick of AOSPEX on my gprimelte. I first went to Lineage OS 16, which went fine until I realized XDA Labs crashes. I then went to RR oreo but had some problems with my apps. I can't login to my google account as it gets stuck on "checking info" then goes to a black screen (The only way to remedy this for me is to install an old version of Mind the Gapps, probably because of Play Services). Sometimes Photos say that it hasn't been installed correctly, and other apps like GBoard say to update play services. After that's fixed, I see that ROM toolbox crashes and Magisk Manager also crashes when I try to check info on a downloadable module. I tried Lineage OS 15.1 GO and DotOS using TWRP 3.2.1 with the same results. Could it be the Gapps, the Roms (as they were all made by the same person), or the TWRP (also made by the same person).

Latest rom was release on 2019-10-31.
I Downloaded it and installed on phone, and looks much more than UI 5.0 and more nice features than previous one.
play store don`t work , some apps i use i installed from another markets but them requires google play services to run.
wish to install Play store and services , if exist someone who can help me with that.
(for spam security they dont let me to post links lol)

Found some informations but without working links to download twrp for z17 lite and adb flasboot... drivers and all required apps.

I managed to install TWRP, magisk, and get the phone rooted. Then used Gapps from 22.04.2020.
Got from internet (no verify opt encrypt) but i get error installing it.
The Google Play works sometimes with issues but.. i noticed the phone is unstable. After 2 days or so when i want to add a new account simply appears black screen and i`m not able to do that.
now i got a new Gapps from 08.12.2019 to try with this version.
If works like in 22.04.2020. i will remove TWRP and put Geekbuying rom.
If do you have any suggestions please let me know

Some delay. never got your message. Install Mokee Rom for this phone. Newest is Q. How to Install Mokee OS Android 10 on ZTE Nubia Z17 lite. Make sure Gapps is ARM64 version. Use nano and set up a Gapps Config txt file to limit what is installed. Google it.
