Hey folks
Is there some way to disable knock on on CM 11?
It turns on if I just touch the screen and skips ahead in my audiobooks because of the lock screen controls. It's annoing as h****
P.s. I know how you do it on the stock LG ROMs and it's not the same.

I have CM11 installed and when I hold my phone in one hand (screen inward) my screen has already turned on, moved right, activated the camera and took a picture, and somehow pressed the home button.

I have only found one generic fix if you don't have the settings for it.
Go into a terminal emulator
Type "su" plus enter to get root
Use this command:
echo 0 > /sys/devices/virtual/input/lge_touch/touch_gesture
You have to do it after each boot so store it somewhere handy.

Settings - Security and Lockscreen - Smart Lock - Trusted Face.
That's what you should be looking for.

Seems its not a bug. Get used to it until next update (hopefully)
Same here, this seems deliberate and not a bug
Same here, feels so not nice after being able to do it before the update

I really think it's a bug since android provides the option to "hide notification content" in the lock screen.
Do you think they will notice and fix it in the next update? I think not!
Is there a bug report portal? (I really need this feature xD)

The only bug reporting thing that Huawei has is their Hicare app, and i dont believe that they would bother fixing such a minor thing if it wasn't deliberate.
I really wanna report it but this app asks for so many permissions/information that makes me mentally unable to tap "Agree"...
edit: Got an (security) update today, problem still persists

I know I can disable backlight via Magisk module, but I was wondering if there was a rom which really fixes the issue, so the lights turn on only when they are touched? Thanks in advance.
Lineage OS 16 have that feature. They only lights up when they are pressed.
