TPMS Scam - Android Head-Units

Worked for few months (with good accuracy +/- 0.5 psi) and this happened.
Very dangerous to rely on.

Wrong forum. What happened.

Receiver still showing readings even when the transmitters have no batteries.

Last known reading maybe ?? Maybe let the pressure reading go to zero with sensor working on bench. Might need to shake them to activate the transmitters.

Click to collapse
I tried shaking it. Remove and reinstall batteries. Does nothing. Use different TPMS app, still same (stucked) readings.
Could this be pre-programmed to do so?

Maybe the sensors went bad? I hope that doesn't happen with mine, I got the one with the internal sensors.

Well they usally only activate when they detect movement above a certain threshold. The easiest way to tell if the acutall work is driving a bit, stopping the car and then removing ones of the caps. The app should start alarm you about the pressure loss. It should show 0

Thank you, goodbye
I translate it on google.
like a police scanner this would be nice
Well, yes because in fact I like to hear the control tower at the airport or I will do photography, I am spotter ...
And instead of buying a receiver, I was wondering if there was a software on WM may have the same function
Thank see you!
Hi!
That is hardly possible. I don't know for 100%. But with my experiense of scanners, there is probably a question of hardware. Or more precise, question of crystals with different frequenses..
People tend to believe Touch Diamond can solv ALL tasks.
Despite that i think my TD is fantastic.
I would love to have a radio frequency scanner
Hi,
I am an airplane photographer too, and I would love to have on my Diamond something to listen to control tower of the airport.
I am sure it's not that hard...
Thanks in advance

Help! I've opened the power button cap to try to fix it, any ideas?

Hey all
After two months of treating my HD like a newborn puppy, I left it alone for one minute at a friend's house and someone spilt drink all over it
All is well (eventually...) except for the power button. It acts like it's permently pushed down, so I always have the pop-up 'Are you shure you want to shut down?" and I can't suspend/wake up/turn off the phone (apart from workarounds) or even leave the phone turned off without removing the battery.
I've read old posts on this, and was following some advice from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520702, but I yanked the button up waaayyyy high! (see pic!)

Anyway, I want to try any tips before pushing the button-cap back on. Has anyone seen the insides enough to suggest where to stick a pin/lever it back up etc etc?
If it makes a difference, the end nearest the 'white' bit is pushed down into the device a bit - is this its natural pose or is that my problem>
Cheers for any help, hopefully one of you beautiful XDA'ers will have some help, a beer if anyone performs me a miracle!

Compass, proximity and light sensors not working

I have had problems during calls, as the telephone would not lock screen when close to the face. I went to investigate the issue, and apparently there is a manufacturer menu to diagnose the sensors (*#0*# from phone app). I was shocked to see that not only the proximity sensor is not working, but also the light and compass. Here is a screenshot of the problem:

Things I have tried:
Remove the case (not a magnetic case) and restart the phone multiple times (the phone has no screen protector)
Calibrate the compass by rotating the phone multiple times through the 3-axis
Calibrate the compass by doing a '8' movement multiple times
Do you think it might be solved by doing a factory reset, or are there other solutions available?
Right after factory reset, sensors were back to normal. 2 weeks have passed, and they became non operative again. I can restart the phone as many times as I want to, and they don't come back to live.
Nobody experiencing the same problem?
Same problem here. Please help me. ???
I have the same problem with my A8.

What did the seller suggest when contacted for support?
Post details of what happened to trigger the change, and what has been tried to resolve it, including any related posts from the forums you may have found
Thanks for your reply.
It is installed in a Jeep Wrangler, it rained the day before it happened, next morning I saw a drop of water in the screen, so I guess a drop got into the unit and may have corrupted electronics or something inside it, other than that the unit is running well. I read somebody recommends installing an app called "Rotation control" and other "screen rotation" but even that they work and rotate the screen, they won't get to the landscape screen I need.
Rotating your screen would not be the solution. Your screen is mirrored.
Get in contact with the seller and ask him how to fix that.
