Hi, I've just received my new mi 9T and the first thing I notice, when I enter settings, I see like a white border like a pixel below the text options. Is this normal, does it happens to yours?
I attached some pictures, don't know if you can see it.
Thank you!

I want to enance the color display on my Mogul. For example, I have a theme that has black bars at the top and bottom and my Mogul displays them as grey and not black. There has to be a way to fix this. Can anyone help? I attached the theme that is black at the top and maroon at the bottom.
I don't know if this helps, but here's a all black theme that has black top and bottom bars.

Thanks for the theme. Both bars and background are black. Scroll bar and the color when selecting an icon are grey.
Something else interesting:
When I select the default WM6.1 green theme, the top bar is a dark green. WhenI switch themes and go back to the 6.1 theme, it is a light green and will no longer go back to the dark green. Just another example..
One thing that is annoying, since I also use an all black theme, is that the window displayed when you hit a key while all keys are locked.. it is still grey and it says press cancel then unlock. That screen is still a gradius grey and white, when I'd much preffer it to be black and white.
I know what you mean! Im glad im not the only one with the problem. You are having the same problem I am having. I wish here was a solution to this. The black theme was black at first but if you change the theme and go back to it, its grey.. AHHH! Let me know if you kind a solution to the problem..
I just recently got my Note 3 last week through At&t and I'm highly satisfied. I have a question that I have not found the answer to yet. The phone, contacts, and message screens are predominantly white with black font. I kind of have a hard time with this due to my bad eyes. I can see better with a black background with white font. Is there a way to change these screens to black? I have watched some YouTube videos and see people with black backgrounds And White font in these screens. Help please.

its overall colour re dailer, messages ,contacts is standard a darkish blue /black with white letters.
so it seems it a carrier thing .?( your colour white with black font or did you by accident enable a wrong settings ?)
one thing, have you tried to go.....settings /device/accessibility then scroll down to negative colours (reverse the colour of screen )
if i tick it my dark screen will be reversed to white etc..etc untick and i have darkscreen with white lettering
there is also other very good settings on that page eg..font size ...short cut

good luck .
Hi,
Few days ago I purchased a new unlocked n910f from a nearby retail store and I noticed something strange with the display.
The issue is - vertical lines are visible if a gray image is displayed. This is visible at brightness levels above 50%.
Same can be seen if a white image is displayed (i.e. a white page in Chrome or in Settings) and the notification tray is pulled down so the visible content of the previous screen becomes dim. This problem is really annoying...
I've created an image with photoshop, 2560x1440 with a #2f2f2f Gray and opened it with Gallery.
The display settings are: Screen mode - Basic, Auto adjust screen tone - OFF, Brightness at 100%.
A screenshot doesn't show any vertical lines...
These are links to full sized images:

2. Photos taken with another camera (same image displayed, different camera exposure)

I've searched for this issue on the web and XDA, found about Mura effect, but nobody pointed out this issue on Note 4 and if this can be fixed. Is this issue present on Your device? Should I request a device replacement?
Thanks,

Greetings all,
I have a S7, and when I have a open white area, lets just go with messages, When I open up the message (text, stock) and compose a new message, I get the white screen however in the background I can see the home screen icon's very faint, with colors. I did a screen shot and when on the phone you can see the icon's, however when I move the screen shot to the PC I dont see any of the icon's, I was hoping to post the pic, but the pic is perfect. I dont know how to explain this, but it weird. I have done two factory wipe's, this is stock, I have not modified this phone. The carrier, (If needed) is T-Mobile. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
Ciao~

If you take a screenshot and it does not display the same as what you are seeing it means it is NOT software related unfortunately this is screen burn
thats what I figured, but its very bad, I have never had any of Samsung Phones every do this. If the display is burned, why would the icon's have color? I see only the background icons, when the screen is white. If it was burned should I see it on all the screens?

The screen burn burns in the colors a possible way to test this is change your background icons from what they were previously and see if the colours have changed on the screen where you can see the burn in..
Alternatively Get a screen test app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ua.dp.ustav.screentest should let you put solid colors on the screen) and set it for all white (there shouldn't be any other color showing) then for all black (there shouldn't be anything but black or a uniform very dark gray). If either one shows any sort of picture "ghost", the screen has burn-in.
Apparently it helps slightly if you set the screen mode to cinema. (Settings>Display>Screen Mode>Cinema)
Hope this helps
Hello. I just received my pixel 4 and have noticed that on a black solid wallpaper or background there appears to be what looks like light bleeding at the top and bottom of the screen. It's yellowish in colour and about 1/2 cm. I can only assume my screen is faulty but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this issue? I've tried to take some pictures of the issue and will attach to this post.
Cheers.

The status bar has a gradient color so it should show light at the top. The navbar has one too but more subdued. Hard to see in a screenshot. Yours does look like more than just a gradient however.

Yeah it's a yellowish green colour too which doesn't seem normal. I'm going to send it back. Thanks for your reply.
