I recently bought an unlocked blade z982 and I have it rooted but during the process the serial number was changed some how and now I cannot use my sim. How do I change it back to the factory serial number? Where is it located in root directory?

Hi, after I bricked my phone, I unbricked it with a stock firmware that I find in the web, but in this firmware they showed me in the build number :"nrd90m test-keys". So, I tried to install many version via fastboot (and 2 with dload) but none worked ( VNS-L21C185B120 –VNS-L21C185B140 –VNS-L21C185B150 - VNS-L21C432B121 - VNS-L21C432B120 -VNS-VNS-L21C02B122). Please, I want to identificate the build number of my phone with my IMEI or with an app or something like that (bootloader unlocked).
Hi do you have the dual SIM model?
No, when I put 2 card sim, just one is working.
I have 2 different imei's.When I check the imei written on the back of the device on imei checker then it tells me its model is d802.The second imei (which is different from the first one) I get is from the phone settings. When I check the second imei on imei checker,it also tells the model as d802.But when I checked the model number on the motherboard of the device by actually opening it,there is written d800.
Also, the I am running the d800 software(I bought it that way)....it worked fine till it mysteriously lost the cell signal.I am thinking that may be if I change the imei of the phone to a d800 one,I might be able to regain the signals. But I can not find d800 imei anywhere.Any suggestions??
Hi Guys,
so i bought this phone WAS-LX1AC02B133 for dual sim based on all the specs i saw browsing the net only to discover
my vodafone contract phone doesn't have the menu for configuring the system.
The phone also only shows me a single IMEI number, but i called huawei support and the guy confirmed
a) the device has 2 IMEIs (he told me the 2nd IMEI so i have both)
b) that it is only locked out because of the branding.
All the posts i read seem to say the second sim wont have a valid IMEI.
In view that it has 2 IMEIs (with only one masked out) can someone tell me;
a) how can i backup the current image so i can later restore to stock if required
b) how can i switch the brand to allow dual sim config.
thanks
So, i have flashed my phone with the wrong firmware, SS instead of DS, after i realize that mistake, i flashed the right file, but after, my DS wont work.
After flashing a separate Dualsim File, my DS is working, but my 2. Imei is 000000000000000, and i have a regulary second imei.
Now i am looking for a solution, to edit the 2. imei
Your IMEI numbers are listed on your sim tray if you need them. I used HCU tool by DC-Phoenix (dc-unlocker) to insert my IMEI and SN information after a bad update wiped it.
First I rebranded to international variant vkyl29c636 and erecovery with funkyhuawei tools, then rebranded and erecovery back to my correct stock and region with the same tools, then finally repaired IMEI and SN with HCU and today I'm so happy to have my phone back haha.
I hope this helps you a little.
nice, but i am looking for a free solution, hcu needs credits for repair
Sry, but there is NO free solution to fix IMEI on Huawei phones!!!
hcu no works in last roms
Hello,
so i have this p8 lite (Chinese version/ale-ul00), i need to unlock the bootloader so i can install a custom rom but when i try to get the unlock code from Huawei site i always get this error: "SN and IMEI are mismatched.". and when checking the warranty using the IMEI number i get this:"You have entered a correct IMEI number, but we cannot find it in our database.".
my guess is the IMEI number has been changed, if anyone could help that will be great, thanks
