Pancake kernel for PE - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hi! Has anyone tried pancake kernel on Pixel Experience rom or another rom? If yes, how is your usage experience? Is it worth it? I'm searching for a kernel to maximize battery life. If you want, feel free to give me some advices about rom + kernel to use...
Thank you in advance

i have been using it with PE for months and switched to Havic and i still use it. So far it's the best battery and speed for me

Ok, wow, so pancake works well with Havoc too, which version of Havoc and pancake are you using? Do you simply flash the rom then the kernel, right?

3.1.0 Latest version. Only problem happens rarely is that instagram videos sometimes lag. but that's it, for me at least

Havoc was good for me, until I've discovered DerpFest It's the best in battery life and stability...

I thought that rom was only for Xiaomi mi 9t pro, is there for mi 9t too? If yes, could you post the link? Thank you!

Have you installed any mods? I never experienced any problems, could you define strange and unuseble please?

No, I haven't installed any mod, perhaps the problem is that I try to install this kernel on vantom kernel that is already present. My screen becomes ruined when I flash it, sorry I can't find words to describe it...Some pixels on the screen are ruined, and the image on the screen is scratched

Im using mokee 64 bit too, its fast, stable, good for gaming and good battery life. The only bug i found is sim bug which can be fixed by turning sim on/off and black screen bug. Definitely recommended over stock lollipop..

Yes its fast. ive been on it for abt a week now (on A6000 plus). Especially love the launcher (Slim Launcher) is super light and very modular. Layer manager is also Nice. The battery backup is not as great as stock though. Im squeezing 13-14 hours of regular use.

and when i conect to a wifi , that marke desapeare and apeare when disconect
Am used cm13 its smooth.compared.to.all other lollipop roms. only problem is that camera is not good in.marshmallow.roms. facebook force closes always. so.i just replaced with vibeui 2.9.
Otherwise marshmallow.is better in performance
Mokee 64bit and CM 12.1

Stable Rom for daily use

Which custom rom is best to use as a daily driver.
I need FM, Gcam and good battery backup.
Can anyone please provide a list or something.
Thank you.
Edit: I forgot to add that I use bank apps almost daily so they should be compatible with the rom too. On my previous rooted device(Moto G3) bank apps didn't work because of rooting.

Totally agree : i've always flashed my phone by the past (7 years now, 6 phones, around 100 flashes), but now that i've found a pure android phone, nothing more, nothing less, i don't feel the need to flash a new rom. The only thing i've added is the (fabulous) Gcam.
I think we're are numerous to think that way : i don't say that you should not flash or try something else of course, but in my opinion, an Android One version is a really good and stable device.

I thought this is a forum to ask questions like this and the purpose of this forum - especially a q&a thread - is to get answers, not more browsing, because everyone is searching here first for whatever mods, roms, kernels to find the best, the working one, or any new one...? And all of this is based on people who have one minute to post a useful answer here. Maybe I think the wrong way...
I link all I have here.
I currently used Agni on Kate, this seem to have the best charging speed and the battery backup is not much worse than any stock kernel. I tried shadow, this is just not for me and the third one might be useful, I have no reference from that but worth to give it a try if others don't work for you.
I found this radon version, no idea if it is working on pie or not, didn't try yet either.

Does the same with other kernels? Did you try to calibrate your battery? Might be a battery problem anyway as the device is getting older, it is 4 years since released...

Yeah that's what I thought, I reverted back to nougat and I don't have that problem anymore. Anyway nougat gives me better battery life. I was thinking of getting the battery replaced.

I'm on AOSP Extended v4.6 Unofficial build Dec 20 2018, this is a very stable ROM. I couldn't find any bugs so far.
Previously I was using Lineage OS v14.1 with Radon kernel that was also very stable. With stock kernel I was having a battery problem.

Best Rom

Go for havoc os or aosp extended with cherry kernel. Best for gaming and performance. I have tried them all. These two are the best ones.

Fingerprint sensor works/detects better than other custom ROMs for out device, right next to stock MIUI. That's what I mean by FP performance. Our LOS16 doesn't have OTA but the developer is already starting work on LOS17.
