Hello,
The problem I am having is that when switching between apps, to name SurfShark, Youtube and Play Store, via recent apps a couple of times, it seems Youtube crashes since it starts with splash screen. It is not just Youtube but also Kodi, Plex, etc.
I tried factory reset but no avail. What I suspect is that somehow Shield Tv cannot handle multiple apps at the sametime. Is it just me or somebody else has the similar problem?
Shield Tv 2019
Thanks

I'm having a strange issue on my HTC 10. It's an unlocked phone converted to rooted stock Verizon. When I play videos, it works the first time. Then, when I try to play another video a day or two later, the video program crashes. At first I assumed it was the VLC video app, but I have tried four different video players, and they all do the same thing ... they work at first, and then they crash later. Also, I can uninstall the app, reinstall it and it will work again for that session. Does anyone have any ideas on where to even start troubleshooting this?
Has anyone had any problems with these apps working?
I have a random problem where something happens and I can't get these apps to work.
Netflix - just stays on the loading screen when the logo.I've seen the attached message once appear from the Netflix app.
Prime video - app just has the loading circle
Google Movies - app loads ok and you can navigate around but can't play a movie. Click play and a blank screen shows.
The only thing which fixes this is a phone restart. I have a unlocked UK S8 on the stock firmware.
I have spoken to Samsung support on Twitter but basically they recommended a soft reset which doesn't seem to fix it long term.

Is this a common issue with the Fire 10HD?
My tablet is not rooted but I used ADB to disable all the Amazon apps and use Evie as a launcher.
I've installed Google framework, Youtube and VLC. I have also installed Kodi.
Other than Kodi, I have not been able to play any video files locally. Youtube also would not work unless I play it through Kodi Youtube addon.
Is there something missing from the tablet basic installation that will allow it to play the video files and Youtube?

NVM,
Turns out the tablet was buggy and stop playing video altogether. Anyway, a reboot seems to clear up whatever was causing the issue.
Newbie here and have searched as much as I can.
I’ve got a Tesla Style unit installed.
All works fine but certain apps will play for about five seconds then crash. These include (YouTube, Apple Music, netflix)
Other video streaming apps work fine. iplayer, cinemahd etc.
What could be causing this? And is there anything I can do to resolve it?
Thanks

I checked earlier and it’s also happening when trying to view YouTube or Netflix through the chrome browser. It’ll play for a few seconds then crash chrome.
Is anybody else having an issue with the Paramount+ app crashing upon opening on their ONN device? And, if so, have you found a fix?
My specific issue:
The Paramount logo goes through its animation then immediately goes to an error message: "We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties. Please check again later."
My attempts to troubleshoot:
I have force stopped the app.
I have cleared the app data and cache.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
I have rebooted the device.
I have tried installing the app to the device using both the Play Store website on a PC, and directly with the Play Store app on the device.
I can access Paramount+ using a browser on my PC, so my Internet connection appears to be okay.
My other streaming apps work okay - Netflix, HBO, Disney, Hulu, etc.
This is driving me nuts.
Is there anything I may have missed? TIA.
I am able to use Paramount+ (CBS) Android TV version 8.1.10 (com.cbs.ott) on my Onn TV 4k box (dopinder) using stock software and no ad-blocker. You can download it from apkmirror.

Try disabling any adblockers, as most streaming apps have countermeasures to dns adblockers. The phone/tablet version com.cbs.app is available to try as well.
Thanks. I solved the issue by installing the app by logging into the Play Store from my PC, and sending it to the device from there. Previously, I had installed it directly from the Play Store app on the device itself.
I only discovered this weirdness when I installed it that way onto another ONN device, and it worked.
BTW, I don't believe ad-blockers are a thing with Android TV apps, only browsers and such.
