I always use "Cpu Spy" or similar APK to know the CPU states in all my phones.
I tryed like 5-6 apps to check Deep sleep state in this phone, but no data is shown.
could anyone try it?
Do you know any solution?
Regards!!!

Tryed Devcheck a few days ago.
- The list with the Cpu Clock states over time is empty. Same as Cpu Spy.
- The list with realtime clock status works perfect.
I want to trace deep sleep........
Regards!!!
Gsam Battery Monitor Charts shows doze history.
Brown bar is the time of deep doze that meams deep sleep.

Something uses the cpu at 400MHz so many hours.
How do I know what exactly.
I noticed that every phone discussion has a topic about battery saving tips.
Is there a thread with Note 4 tips?
Thanks!!!

I've noticed that the 'indexing service' is the culprit for battery drain on my Note 4. Just got it a few days ago. Any advice how to stop this without having to root?

This is always my secret to extra long battery life. Purchase it from the Play Store
Android (5.1.1) doesn't need loads and loads of CPU power to function buttery smooth.
Lower the CPU clock speed, that way you'll be using less CPU power which will in turn save you battery life.
Hi, I run PN rom and EX kernel. My wifi scanning is off and should never be on during sleep. However, after an hour or so of being in sleep mode, the wifi turns on for the rest of the night and drains a lot of battery... See attached screenshot to see what I mean. Any idea why this could be? And if it is a wakelock, could anyone suggest the best app for finding it? Betterbatterystats seems to just show me a load of random text that I don't fully understand quite honestly.

You could post a screenshot of the wakelocks BBS shows here, so that the community can take a look at the wakelocks. There should be a drop down menu at the top, click it and switch from "other" to "kernel wakelock" and "other wakelock". Personally I think BBS is the best tool for this.

look under all the different settings in the app. kernel wakelock. partial wakelock. alarms etc
it'll tell you what's keeping it awake.

these are settings from better battery stats.
this is wakelock detector, which i used for dirty unicorn because bbs just gives out a huge amount of alarms (in normal standby state without wakelocks!).
Feedback app and rcsservice! rcsservice "hidden" inside the feedback battery page???
Hi, i notice something strange:
if i enter settings: app and i select the "feedback" beside is impossible to disable it, if i click on "Battery" the next screen not talk anymore about "feedback" app but talk about rcsservice app!

i reset the phone, now the battery menu for the app "feedback" is like in your photo, no name/icon.
so is true for the oreo update is better do a phone reset, or strange things will happen, lol
