Wi-Fi disconect automatically - erro

Hello guys, I have a Galaxy Y Duos Pocket Neo model GT-s5302b.* It features the following defect: when I try to connect to Wi-Fi the icon lights up but it is just a moment and automatically turns off.* The device does not find any network. I thought it was a defect in the hardware, however it was not. Now I believe it is the ROM update that caused this defect.* Someone could give me a technical solution for this.

Turn off device encryption / decrypt device

Hi all, could anyone who already has the PRIV have a look at the security settings and see if it's possible to turn off phone encryption / decrypt the phone? Please post a screenshot of the settings menu too.

No, it's not possible. The build does not provide the option to remove encryption.

[Help!] Getting "IMS service has stopped" every 5 seconds

Hi ,
Updated my Galaxy S8 Exynos to 1 November 2018 security update. Since then i have been getting "IMS Service has stopped " error every 5 seconds.
[update] : Factory reset didn't help

Same here... did you update it with Smart switch?

I found the solution.. IMS Service issue is related to Message app.. if you choose any other message app as default SMS app the error will stop coming. But I dont want to use the other default messaging app.
Go to the link https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...g-messages/samsung-messages-5-0-11-8-release/ and try downloading 5.0.22.1 version of message app(it works for me you can check another version if it wont get installed). and install as normal APK. once successful installation select again it as Default app. Error will be gone..

Thanks for the solution. Tried the same, but unfortunately, it didn't work. Now the Phone has started to lag and I can't make any calls/SMS through sim1. Although when I switch off Sim 1, the issue gets resolved; but that is making my problem worse. Any suggestions?

Hi I am having the same issue and its related to volte, seems the volte does not gets automatically registered while restarting. This behaviour is common in customs roms. The fix that works for me is to create a new apn with name & apn as ims, protocol as ipv4/ipv6.

Go to settings/ Device management /Reset/ Reset network settings
It worked for me
Just reset network settings

It is all about the default messaging app. I just installed the update and faced the same problem. Came here to see the solution.
What I did is just installed the Messaging app by Google LLC. You can use any messaging app and set as default. done

Go to settings > connections > more connection settings, turn off advanced calling and messaging.

Nothing to worry, It's bcoz u r using volte net and if u disabled mobile data while usimg wi fi, this problem occour on latest update of s8. U need to enable mobile data and pop up will run away.I faced this and solved thus. Initially I thought to factory reset but waited and pressure my ltl mind to overcome this stupid problem.... Wish you all the best.

I conducted extensive google search without avail .
I am Looking for default password in order to install application from google play.
I tryed to find model number and i think its W907NA and manufacturer TCAT , however its not listed there . Its in Nissan Altima,2018 sv.
I tryed all passwords such are Tcat,tcat,TCAT m1234567, 4567890,456789 ,162 and all other variations i could find . None of them are working

How to turn on Wifi-Calling and VoLTE on 8T after update

Hello everyone!
Finally I've find way to turn on Volte and Wifi calling back on 11.3.4 and 11.4.5!
When i bought the phone on the stock version i had aviability to turn on VoLte and WifiCalling, but after 2 updates - 11.3.4 and 11.4.5, dont why this options gone.
Little guide how to bring back this option on your phone:
1. Use this app "Apk Extractor" to backup your currently Logkit
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=pl&gl=US)
2. Download this version of Logkit: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bQYKY6tI5O37yXVyXpFYdOHIvMB9iuMt/view
3. Now, open the dialer app and dial *#800# to access the menu.
4. Scroll down and tap the Function switch option and turn on VoLte and WiFi calling.
5. Reboot phone
6. Check Sim & Network option
7. After that reinstal your backup Logkit!

I do now have the option to turn on wifi calling! However when I toggle it on, it does not stay on. KB05AA on Verizon wireless.

Sorry guys, but I don't know your operator.
On the stock have you vo and wifi?

Do you have the backed up log kit apk? Can you send it to me please.

Anyone get this working with Verizon?

You can just look for it in the apps, make sure you press "show system app" and after you found the logkit, press "Uninstall updates"

i already have this option in my mobile v2001, i activated but its not working for some reason, i guess it needs Qualcomm driver update just like op 7..

You can also activate VoLTE by changing MBN with Qualcomm PDC like OP5/6/7 but you must be rooted now

hi, i don't find logkit apk in apk extractor. however I displayed the system applications
have an idea why?

i tired to enable volte and vowifi and both are enabled but still no volte or vowifi on my old phone it worked fine same sim in th e8t and its not working any ideas?

Thanks for this. Just tried and I now have the WiFi calling option and it works fine (for Vodafone UK).
Funny thing is even when I reinstall the extracted (backed up) logkit it still doesn't revert to the original one. Uninstalling updates also does revert back but it fine. I can't imagine there's any harm in using the downloaded one.

After upgrading to OOS12 this method is not working any more.. Does anybody have a new solution to get volte vowifi back?

In OOS12 and ColorOS12 access to logkit and engineering mode were somewhat hidden by developers.
The easiest way to access toggles is obtained with root access and Magisk.
Just install attached module. Enable VoLTE and VoWiFi toggles.

Without root it's quite complicated because on OOS12&13 access to engineering mode via dialer code is disabled.
