Looking for Stock Firmware for SM-T355Y (India) - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Does anyone have a legit stock firmware download for a SM-T355Y (India)? Every "samsung firmware" site I find wants you to create an account and/or pay a fee to get download speeds that aren't abysmally slow.
Thanks in advance

No. Just use Sammobile, create a free account and download. I get speeds ranging from 150kb to 350kb so it takes a couple of hours to download.

Why don't you search it on Sammobile?
You can also use my app Phone INFO > Menu > Firmware Browser, enter N900 as Phone Model and UBU as CSC code and tap Find button.
You will see that firmware.
Thanks friend, but....
It's not that I don't know about those two options, it's that Sam Mobile requires a membership to download quickly, thus, I'm asking for a MIRROR of the file, since I'd rather not spend 24 full hours downloading it.
The second option does NOT work for me on my device, which is odd, given that this IS a Panama ROM and I'm actually IN Panama. For some reason, the ROM update doesn't show via my carrier. I have an unlocked device.
So, thanks, but I still need a mirror, if anyone has one.
Little bump.
Anyone have a mirror?
"Doin' the bump."

Looking for the Stock Rom

As the title states, I have a samsung galaxy note 3 w/ verizon as my carrier.
I've looked around, I've found one site that provides, but I have to pay for a membership, which I get it.... but I don't have the money to spew at something i'll only use maybe once in my lifetime lol.
Anyone know where I can get a stock rom (preferably the OF1) for my samsung? Also, flashable with ODIN? thanks!
sammobile.com
Device SM-N900V
A free account is sufficient. If you have troubles downloading,
(a) make sure you have turned off ad-blockers in your browser
(b) make sure you are logged in to the site.
I've only used sammobile.com from a PC (there is always a possibility that using a mobile browser adds additional difficulties)
PS. For folks looking for custom recovery flashable Stock ROMs (rather than Odin-flashable) see here.
Full OF1 repair firmware (4 files + PIT), if needed :

Help: SM-G9500 3G/4G in Europe

Hi!
I just got SM-G9500 (bought in Taiwan), and internet is not working, I believe have tried everything in the settings. Phone unlocked, LTE sign next to carrier on top is there, everything else is ok, except data network. SIM on other phone (S7) works fine. Yep, me located in Europe (Vodafone HU).
Is it possible to get 3G/4G with this phone with my operator? If yes, can one point me to the direction how to achieve this?
Baseband G9500SQU1AQC9, Kernel 3.18.30-10318693, Build version SEPF_SM_G9500_5.0.2_0008
Please help!

Do you mean G950F? ie a S8. if so just go here https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8/SM-G950F/ (you can find S8+ too if that's what you meant), download the right files for your country & mobile operator, and flash via ODIN

Well, I just posted a link where you can see that there are only two countries listed ... or differences in S8 models (and processor) does not matter, so I can take any S8 file? ... I am aware of this principle, but dont see anybody did it in similar case as mine (or with G9500).
Still waiting for opinion/ideas...

Yeah it will make a difference, that phone is only for far-east markets, hence the firmware, you can try the Hong Kong version, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Far east models run very different frequencies on their modem I believe, could be wrong though
you don't need to flash anything.
you have a Galaxy S8 (SM-G9500)
your phone "speaks" all known wireless frequencies (from the factory) & it can be used anywhere in the world.
The LTE icon just means your phone is registered on the LTE network.
It doesn't (yet) mean you have internet access.
you're 1/2 way there.
at least your LTE works.
You need to contact Vodafone HU helpdesk & ask them to give you the "Access Point" details for their network.
** Normally network providers send you these details in a text message - the first time the phone connects to their network - but maybe you didn't accept the settings / deleted the text message?
Once you have the settings:
Go to: Settings / Connections / Mobile Networks / Access Point Names <--- select "ADD" & then enter the details provided by Vodafone HU & save the access point details.
Your internet access will work after a couple of seconds.
From hungary too
Hy, I'm hungarian too,and i'm just writing in english because of forum. I bought also an SM-G9500,and i still didn't get Oreo. Or any softwer updates since january. If you want, search me on facebook, Gyarmati János István.

Try flashing with Odin 3.13.1
Apparently some older versions of Odin generate a SH256 (encryption??) error

S7 Edge SM-935T Need latest SM-935U Firmware

Hello everyone,
I have a large issue here that I have spent the last 2 days trying to fix.
I have a SM-G935T that I had unlocked by T-Mobile to use with my current Verizon service. Once the device was unlocked, I see that the only way to use the phone with verizon is to flash the SM-G935U firmware to the device. Before the unlock, I allowed the phone (phone wasnt used for over a year) to download and install several updates to the most current 8.0 software for t-mobile. Apparently the SM-G935U firmware I had was an older version and the phone is now in a boot loop and the only thing I can do is get to download mode.
Whenever I try to get the latest SM-G935U firmware from Sammobile, it fails to download due to network error. I have a paid Sammobile account and decently fast internet. Not sure what I should do from here as the device needs the firmware that I cannot seem to download. The version I am after was the G935UUES8CSA1_G935UOYM8CSA1_VZW.zip
If anyone has any ideas of what I can do to get this device going again on Verizon, I would appreciate the advice!
Thank you in advance :highfive:

Please help me; firmware needed G935FXXS7ETA4

Hi, I urgently need for an S7 edge firmware, and the 15 kb/s is too slow because in a hour I have to go to the airport to catch a plane. I even can't pay for the premium service because I haven't got PayPal. Yesterday I downloaded the wrong firmware and now my device is bricked. Can you link me a mirror for the G935FXXS7ETA4 firmware for the S7 edge or a site without any download speed limit? Sorry for the bad english.
Ok, I think it's time to put my sim into my old Nokia 3330...
Download the samFirm program. will assist you in downloading the stock at a good speed.
