Hey,
I am about to unroot my galaxy s8 which had an italian firmware. I was wondering can I simply unroot with the latest firmware of a different country or will I run to issues with this?
If there is no issues with using a different country's firmware: all I need is to flash BL, AP, CP and CSC with Odin to unroot my S8, correct?

I currently have 2 CSC's on my Note 3. XSA (Australia) and BTU (UK). I want to get rid of XSA and just keep the BTU. I have just rooted my Note 3 (successfully) but am still unsure on how to get rid of the unwanted CSC. Does any one know what happens if I flash my phone with the FW file in the CSC tab instead of the AP tab? Or does anyone know of a better way to do this?
Thanks.

Install this APP and you will know your REAL CSC (pic attached). Go to Sammobile.com and download, unzip and flash the latest firmware via ODIN.
Hey guys,
I've flashed the SM-G935F_1_G935F_XXU1DPLT_BTU firmware via odin which is the 7.0 firmware.
I originally had the New Zealand (NZC) firmware but wanted to update. So I flashed BTU firmware.
I'd like to go back to my original regions firmware but I don't know how.
1) I can't remember the steps I used to flash the BTU firmware. If I flashed just the AP for the BTU firmware do I just have to flash my NZC firmware's AP?
2) Do I need to flash the AP, BL, CP, and CSC to go back to NZC?
3) What if i flashed the CSC during install of BTU firmware? Does this affect anything when flashing back to NZC?
Please help! How do i get back to NZC firmware?
Thanks very much for your help!!

Find a firmware without a multi CSC I believe XSA and UK carrier firmwares all are like this.. Check the repartition box. Flash and don't use the Home CSC. Let the phone boot and then flash your multi CSC firmware. That is how I have gotten around it my S7 edge when I was trying to make Samsung Pay work.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. So just confirming before I start, you reckon below are the steps I should take?
1) Flash with a non multi-csc firmware, such as the Australian XSA (check the repartition box, and don't use HOME_CSC)
2) Reboot, then flash again with a multi-csc firmware, such as the Netherland PHN firmware.
And, when flashing do I pick all 4 files in Odin (BL, CP, AP, CSC)?
Thanks for your help.

If you want Samsung Pay works in the USA also then just flash XSA with all the files and don't use home csc and your done.
The only time I had issues is when you want to switch from a multi csc to another multi csc. Example German csc to UK csc because they use the same firmware. That is when I flashed a fixed csc then flashed a multi csc. So I could get the specific csc to work on my phone. Supposedly you can do it differently through the dialer I think. It never worked for me.
I have my s8 and my gf's s7 edge both on XSA because Samsung pay and white pages both work. Only downside is you get updates a month later then BTU.
I hope that makes sense if not pm me.
Thank you. It works as you said.
I need a stock BTU firmware for my SM-G930F S7 as the place i bought it from(mobiles.co.uk)screwed me over and gave me a firmware with a verizon us csc.It even thinks the GPU is an Adreno, when it is actually a Mali, which is why I want the stock UK Firmware.

Well,I have the firmware now.But should I take the risk and flash it with ODIN or not. Also,in CSC in Odin,do you put the HOME_CSC there or the CSC?
CSC wipes your data; HOME_CSC does not.

Cool,so I'd use home csc so I don't lose my data. But I've heard from some people that they lost their IMEI when they used a different CSC.
CSC won't affect your IMEI, just don't tick anything extra in Odin as that's usually what breaks IMEI etc. Leave it all default.
hello. with odin i can't be able to flash firmware TIM italy nougat or oreo. it try to flash but fails in 1 second. instead if i flash nobrand firmware oreo or nougat it go fine. is it impossible or do i wrong anything? i used home csc file but no results. i hope an answer
Use csc not home_csc
Thanks many... And after can i return to unbranded using csc again?
Yes just flash unbranded firmware. Use Odin 3.13.1 for Oreo firmware
