The minimum brightness on the oppo is ridiculously low compared to all my other phones I have owned and it auto adjust the brightness to much lower brightness than my liking sometimes.

Auto brightness works better than any phone I have ever owned. Sort of cool to actually watch the brightness adjustment bar move as it adjusts brightness.
Minimum brightness is perfect on this phone

Dimming is really satisfying, even has a night mode and invert colors by default.

I am not satisfied with the dimming. Its extremely bright inspite being at lowest level ?? i wish it could have better display brightness levels. My old redmi note 5 pro gets way dimmer and was comfortable to use in a dark room. This phone sucks and hurt the eyes ??

I have absolutely no problems with the minimum brightness level on MIUI 10.x. It goes even lower in comparison with my old Nexus 7 2013. Moreover, minimal level is usually a little bit too dark to use at night.

Minimum brightness isn't too bad, it's definitely not as dark as my Pixel was, but it does go quite low. Definitely low enough for bedtime browsing :good:

The brightness in the sun is good but it can't be said that it is brilliant or fabulous.
Pff... Its rather BAD!
are we talking adaptive brightness or just the general brightness levels?
In bed it gets pretty bright, not good. But it's not that bad either.
