Camera performance G975F (Exynos) custom ROMs - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
So I really like stock Android or ROMs that are close to stock Android.
I was actually wondering, how is the camera performance on custom ROMs?

Note 4 N910F Rom help!

Hi, i love roms like CM, AOSP, AICP, etc, so stock android is great! But i read that stock android roms isn't good and have reboots/soft reboots, and few things working compared to stock TW roms etc. I only use the s-pen for snapchat and if i can use this on CM/stock android roms, id rather use those roms..
But is there a stock android rom that doesn't have soft-reboots/reboots lots of bugs, or stuff not working? I don't mind if i have to use 5.1.1 aslong as it has 0 reboots, because i need my alarm clock to be stable and work!
Do i loose alot of battery time on CM/AOSP etc compared to stock TW roms?
Can i flash stock tw rom like normal afterwards incase of selling my device?
I hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you for the help!
Anyone ?
is there really noone that has an input here?

camera quality on custom roms?

Hi all. I was wondering about the quality of the camera on custom roms. Is it close to stock? Much worse or maybe even better? Thx for answering.
It's the same quality for every custom ROM based on stock ROM (TouchWiz)
It's worst on every AOSP-based ROMs (LinOS, RR, etc...)

Stock kernel Vs custom

Just curious on why stock kernel performs so much better in gaming compared to any custom kernel I've tried.
Anyone else had the same experience?
Probably because custom ROMs don't have the same drivers for video and camera.
And also because a lot of the custom ROMs have a lot of shiny bloat in them that slows the phone.

Everyone's go to rom?

I'm wondering what everyone's go to rom is. I'm new to this phone and I'm looking for a reliable rom.
I'm on the stock due to the warranty, but i can suggest a rom based on AOSP code for a pure android experience. Less extra features more stability you get. Probably i'd choose the AOSiP, try several roms until you'll find the right for you.
Debloated stock rom, rooted with ElementalX kernel. Not as many options as with custom roms, but everything just works. I find with most custom roms the camera quality is lacking.
Going with stock rom, mainly cause of the camera quality.
Camera quality has been fine On aosp roms, I'm running viper right now with no issues

There is a fully working stock Moto Camera zip available as of yesterday that is working on custom ROMs. Just an FYI. It is on the g5 plus app forum.

Stock vs Nougat custom roms

Hi. I've got a G5 plus on the way and wanted to ask if the stability/battery life of the Nougat custom roms is as good as the stock rom, and if so, which is the most stable?
I gather the camera quality on custom roms is not as good as stock?
I've also read complaints about the low speaker volume on this phone, is it something that can be fixed with a custom rom/rooted stock rom?
if there are any other advantages/disadvantages I've missed out please let me know, thanks!
