Msmdownloadtool might be the solution for this. Look through the thread first to see if this is what others have done.

Hello Guy´s!
Im a happy customer of Motorla. My Moto G6 Plus its a perfect smartphone for daily use! After 2 Years of abstinence from the custom rom scene i will try to install a Pie custom rom. Now i see that this smartphone have less support from developer side! Since a few days a TWRP is official for the G6 Plus but its only to boot not to install/flash! The reason is that there is no recovery partition. Im really disapointed now! I read so much how to´s and brick my phone several times.
Have you any idea why the G6 Plus dont have support from the developers? Or have any suggestion where i can found a working Pie custom rom for my phone?
Many greets from Germany!
Martin
Pie is working. Just not released to public. Check out the telegram dev chat. Still needs some spit and polish. For now you can flash Los15.1 then flash an oreo GSI in the Treble Development forum. Oh and official twrp is broken period. Use twrp in Los15. 1 thread. Many devices lack recovery partion these days. It goes to boot instead.

Hello Xplorer4x4!
This morning i read a bit in this telegram dev chat. Its a problem to find a summary. I tried to flash los15.1 from the thread but i brick my phone with that patched boot image that is suggested. Okay i made a mistake before and flash the twrp to the boot partition!

Patched boot img? No idea what your talking about other then the old root method. Short and sweet, you should probably flash stock firmware from here. Next boot unofficial twrp, format (not wipe) data, install los15(or 16), format data and boot to Los. You can't skip Los set up. Boot twrp again. You have 2 options.
1. Flash a gsi and format data again.
2. Flash Gapps and magisk. Format data.
Boot and profit. For now Los 16 with a gsi is bit buggy. Los16 is pretty stable though. Los 15.1(with or without gsi) is more stable but lacks Bluetooth calling.

Many thanks for youre support! I will try it again. The G6 Plus its a A/B Device. Can i use LOS16 then without GSI?
Greets Martin
Yes Los 15 and 16 are specific to our device as custom roms always have been. They make our vendor partion fully compatible to Google standards unlike stock moto and that makes them play nicer with a gsi. With GSI make sure it's arm64 and A/B like you said. Gsi is a new format started in Oreo so devs still need time to better utilize the format.

Hello again!
Yesterday i try to find a LOS 16 for our device. I couldn't find anyone. Could you send me a link for one? Why we do not have a own forum for the g6 plus? Have you any information about that?
And please give me the Telegram group for the g6 plus. Yesterday I installed the stock again and lost this information.
Best regards
Martin

Hi everyone, as only a few versions of unbrick tool are available here and that they allow to rollback to specific versions of Oxygen OS I decided to search for more and succeeded in that.
I managed to decrypt some of them (the most recent) but also find some that I was unable to crack that I still share here in case someone find a way to get their password. I also linked to 5.1.3 version decrypted by @Titokhan here and linked to 4.7.2 version decrypted by @prime8852 on AFH
As the instructions and Qualcomm drivers are already available here, I don't feel a need to rewrite them.
You can ask questions here on how to use and issues, however I might not be able to answer immediately.

If it happens, try newest Qualcomm drivers available at https://www.catalog.update.microsof...updateid=8ee52ba0-bdef-4009-88cf-335a678dd67a

Hi, of course it (and earlier versions) does work on Windows 10
This is my second-time un-bricking a one plus 5t and just wanted to confirm that the 9.0.7 version works.
For those who are still getting boot-loop after completion of the un-bricking process, if you notice that the time where the logo would stop is different for every loop, just let it loop over and over again until it follows through.
This happened to the latest one I have un-bricked.
Previously used 5.1.7 but it no longer worked when I tried using it again.
Hope this helps for future "un-brickers". Thank you again!

Hi there,
No.
As far as I'm aware the only unbrick tools that had separated files instead of the .ops one are very old versions meant for OnePlus 3 and 3T that will rollback to Marshmallow.

Hey People,
I have recently upgraded my OnePlus 6T from 9.0.7 to 9.0.13 and I want to downgrade it back to 9.0.7.
Reasons to do this:
1. Battery is draining out quickly on 9.0.13 .
2. Also, I have noticed to device to have slowed down a little bit. While using the interface, switching apps and typing I have noticed the device to lag.
Can anyone help with the procedure to go back to 9.0.7?
If a similar query has been posted earlier and a solution was given can you please point me to the thread.
I have searched the forums but I am unable to find a proper guide to downgrade the OnePlus 6T from the latest firmware to an earlier version.
Thanks in Advance

Hello,
I just bought a second-hand OP8P with the version IN2025_11.F.62.
I previously owned a OnePlus 3T so I'm new to all those A/B partitions, seamless updates, patched boot image,... I read a lot but getting a root access with Magisk is still confused. Some threads are outdated, some fellows redirect users to OP 8T threads (like this one)...
So I need you guys
What is the best way to root the OP8P in 2023? What is the best solution to go back to stock (OOS)?
Thank you in advance for your support.
EDIT: the answer
Twrp and Magisk Not Installing on OnePlus 8 Pro. Android 13
I want to install twrp and magisk on op 8 pro but I couldn't find any resources. I tried to install twrp in fastboot mode, this time it does not enter recovery mode. I found some information for Magisk installation, but I couldn't find anything...

A user shared the Magisk patched boot.img for your device here, you could try that. I don't know if OOS 13 is still as easy to root as OOS 11 was, so maybe wait for someone that knows better to reply here lol. Oh and I poked you on Telegram
