I can finally find the color accent option in the developer's settings but when i want to change it to cinnamon or like any other color nothing happens. I really want to have that cinnamon color accent on my phone ?. Wgat should I do ?
Try turning off "miui optimizations" in developer settings. Turning this setting off will revert some UI elements back to stock android, and some features might not work properly anymore.

Anyone knows how to change the orange color when selecting items (in the menu) and the overscroll glow color ?
Iv been trying to figure that out too, cause im using the circulesmod (which i would like to keep) on cm7, when i change the theme with theme chooser or apply a zip theme the icons in the notification bar go switch back and forth, which annoys me lol.
HI
I am running the latest version of PA, trying to enable auto color on apps but the setting does not save or get applied?
Any ideas how to get this working?
I'm also having this problem.
I want to have a white colored status icons, and white navigation bar buttons, so I disable the "Enable per app color" option but it doesn't work status bar icons are blue and the navigation buttons have transparency, it's not visible but I do not want it because of performance issue, I don't like using transparent stuff.
After a while of trying different settings I enable per app color option, since I decided that I'll just use "Automatic Color" inside every app I want to change its layout, but it doesn't work either! If I change its layout it will use the custom colors and enabling Automatic Color won't get saved.
- I have a galaxy nexus
I want to change the color of the notification shade from the ugly dark teal blue to something else. Preferably like a semi transparent dark grey./black.
(See the image for the colors i want to change)
I am on Pure nexus layers edition
I have xposed v80
I am rooted
I tried messing with layers themes once and completely messed up the phone took for ever to restore.
If someone is going to recommend a layers theme, I will need help setting it up. Again the notification shade color is the only thing i want to change for now.
Hi all,
On my old SM-G800F, I installed Resurrection Remix based on android 6.0.1. In this ROM, I could manually choose which colours to use as accent colours, and which colours to choose as system wide colours (eg. background colour of settings) with a color picker like you can see in the attachments) etc.
I was wondering if there is a ROM for the OnePlus 5, which also has this feature, and is based on (at least) android 8, or if there maybe is another way to do this?
Thank you!
RobertD.
Mostly all custom ROMs (based on AOSP, of course) have the in-built theme selector (like OxygenOS) where you can select the system colour (light, dark, black, etc.) along with a selection of accent colour (red, blue, green, etc.). However, none of these ROMs offer a colour picker where you can manually select a colour for accent. You can only choose out of the available options pre-defined by the ROM's developer present in the ROM.

Thank you for your reply!
Is it maybe possible to edit a ROMs code and add this feature to it?

The colour picker for accent colour option, you mean? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Theoretically speaking however, it can be done.
I currently have the default blue accent color applyed to my oneplus 6t. But I noticed that there is multiple places where the accent color is still the turquoise that is in default in the AOSP. I was wondering if this was a bug or if anyone else had noticed it.
Yes, color calibration set to default when fingerprint is used (lockscreen, apps with fingerprint API)

You are right, but color calibration is other thing. @jfchenier is talking about color accent. Default android teal color is on a lot of system screens. I think it's not a bug, it's sloppiness from oneplus. Another little thing on my OOS love hate relationship.

I understand. I use blue color accent too. But all calibrations, color profiles and reading/night modes are ignored in situations when fingerprint scanner is active.
