I have done some searches on older versions and found some updates that I am going to try.
I am a noob, so I am still researching this site.
No balance controls was also the driver for me to look for a solution.
I would really like a multi window as well.

Update works. Balance (left and right) is good, fader (front and rear) does not work. RDS is turned on on the radio. I can't insert a link yet.

I know. A developer can update his rom using this method. Removing things we don't want and just updating the rom and flashing the kernel and modem separately.

does any one have the stock rom for this phone? i dont care for provider just need stock rom. or if possible sprint rom. i reset my phone and says andoid.phone has stopped. i tried another reset but same result so i need to upload the rom again because its corrupt.

It would be so great if Papsi's work could be put into a rom for the current MIUI. He created with his awesome work a solid foundation for the devs. I would really appreciate future ROM development for our presumed dead Honor 7!

Between MIUI and EMUI is a huge difference. MIUI is developed by the community and EMUI only by the Huawei devs. Also, in my opinion MIUI has a lot of features that are way better integrated into the rom than in EMUI ^^
To be fair: Both roms look and feel a little bit the same but the small differences are the things that made MIUI way better than EMUI ^^
