Core Droid NAND

Wanted to thank the Core Droid team. I hacked my HD2 and downloaded my first ROM just a few weeks ago. It was a 6.5WinMo Core Cell Rom.
Was a great ROM with a few minor issues but many huge improvements. All the while I wanted to go to Android but was afraid because I am a noob and the installations seemed more intensive most times when I started reading in on the particulars and preparation.
Stumbled upon the Core Droid NAND and decided to go for it. Installation notes in the readme file are excellent even for a stupid noob like me and everything worked out excellent. This Android ROM is more stable, and twice as fast as the stock WinMo that came with my tmobile HD2.
I just wanted to thank the guys who worked hard on getting it done. I'm such a noob that I do not have 10 posts and could not post in the actual NAND development thread to give them props so I posted this here.
Thank you Core Droid team and thank you xda-developers, you have been an enormous resource.

Reading is fundamental. I cannot post in that forum until I have 10 posts.
I guess I could spam the board toll I get to 10.....

But still i do have to say many many many thanks to the devs...to all the devs and chefs: you guys added spice to life.

No worries. Iposted your link in the ROM thread so the Coredroid team which I agree also is awesome now knows how you feel.
keep this Handy so when you do get into the Coredroid thread you dont look like a total noob.

Need good explanation from Mod...

Hi all SG3 forum members!
I know I`ll be definitely banned for this post, but I think justice should come the first.
From latest posts in this forum I found that our Mod is trying to stop progress in this development forum. I`m not trying to explain here what is made right or what wrong. Just for my opinion our respectable Mod is taking a sides - what he/she not suppose to be do. Lot of good latest suggestions are banned because people who are against it and mr. Mod are from same country. Please, superior members/officers do not allow this.
Please forgive me if I`m wrong (at least in this case I`v deserved a little explanation I think).

I have nothing against to haree, he is really OK - I don`t like taking sides...
I believe he has an explanation....

1. You're supposed to send to a Senior Mod.
2. Would you like to see tons of threads that have nothing to do with the forum section?
I wouldn't. He/She's not taking sides by closing threads. Plus, development on our G3 isn't slowed down by haree. So no. I think this thread is irrelevant.

maybe you`r right and I should do send it to Sm`s...
But closing threads that are very useful for all of us just because there are some doubts ... com on - I don`t see a good explanations...
And I think these actions are affecting developing.... this is why this post is in this thread .... or should it be in Themes and Apps?

This post shouldn't even be alive. Either way, it's supposed to be in General Section.
This is all people need to look at.
Galaxy 3 General: Is what I'm posting not able to go in any other section?
Galaxy 3 Accessories: Is what I'm posting an accessory for the Galaxy 3? ex. headphones, screen protectors, cases, etc.
Galaxy 3 Android Development: Does this pertain to development for our Galaxy 3? ex: ROM Development, bug fixes, modules, kernels, etc.
Galaxy 3 Themes and Apps: Is what I'm posting about a theme or an app?

All right... morning is always smarter than evening....
Don`t want to excite this any-more.
And if this helps - please Mod`s explane you decisions to close something - better for us, to not have us upset for nothing (for me it wasn`t nothing)

1st if u have a problem with me u are more than welcome to go to one of my seniors and complain on the same send me a PM ill give u a few names
this info is not just for the OP but all
when u take a specific post from me u should read all that has happen in the thread and u will see the reason why it was posted by me
Note : im keeping this thread open for any body who has any issues on me
and then ill call a senior to see it and take a decision on the same

yea i have to agree there realy isnt anything wrong with what haree is doing....
those threads are sapposed to go to general or the Q&A thread....
i cant blame him for doing his job
and haree maybe u should move this thread to general too??
and one more thing guys pls dont start making roms that are just like each other
i mean if it has a new feature or realy does improve performance of the phone (like 3d games maybe ) than go ahead but if its just a cool theme or just 1 small feature pls just post it seperatly( not a rom) dont post roms just for the heck of it pls

I fully agree with this, there are few roms out there with nothing new except the theme n the name...if some has to offer a feature don't make a complete rom just post the feature and how to. That would be better and much more open source.

And to the op:
If you have problems with some one or doubt their actions its better you pm them n get to know why, starting a thread for it is completely meaningless and mods are not selected randomly they are carefully selected by seniors. And as far as I know mods consultant each others before closing a thread.
Keep peace sort our your private issues/doubts through pm don't make it a public issue.

As we all somewhat expect better battery backup from our device.
I hope we can share battery stats here and maybe,how do we save battery on our device (some specific app or tweak or anything related to the topic)

Rooted + debloated. Nothing specially tweaked. Zipaligned all apks.
A good battery backup for me. I could get 1 more hour SOT with that 33% i guess.

F.A.A (Flash-aholics Anonymous)

Hi I'm deathblade, I have realised that I get the urge to flash at least once every 3months lately, when development was in bloom I was flashing a few times days or more. It has effected my life at work in various ways, and my life at home in other ways. And I can not stop. And I will not stop until the sad sad day that bacon becomes overcooked with no one to enjoy it's wonderful flavors. So till that day FLASH ON!

Please note I started this thread out of boredom and thought it'd be interesting to see what happens with it, even if it goes nowhere. so have fun with it. If you experience actual issues with flashing ( device related issues) please let us know and will will do what we can to help. But please post in your rooms thread FIRST as that is where you will get the most accurate assistance as we may not be running the same setup as you and thus not have the same issues.
