Asus Camera Zenfone 4 to Zenfone 3. How do this?

Hi guys,
I have a Zenfone 3 and a Zenfone 4. I need port apk Asus Camera version 4.0.21.2_171207M to my Zenfone 3 and have all features Zenfone 4 camera.
You know how I do this?

İf you have root, just delete the asuscamera apk from systemprivapp using doot explorer. Then rename the asus camera 4.00 apk to AsusCamera.apk paste it on system/priv-app/asuscamera/ then set permissions to rw-r-r- then reboot.

I tried it and it works fine. It is missing a few camera modes that the original camera has but otherwise it works perfectly. I'm on the latest .83 release of Nougat and to install it I deleted the existing .apk along with the corresponding oat directory then copied the apk to the /system/priv-app/AsusCamera folder. After rebooting to TWRP and deleting caches it was working perfectly. It changes the interface for the better but reduces the functionality, so I went back to the original camera app.

Mine is ze520kl, it have some bug like 'dit lib error' so it take me a long time to fix that and working without issue.

Ayy Eu Sou Android, I like your videos BTW. Do you have the ported APK???

It worked on zenfone 3 Deluxe. Some modes are gone, but the manual (pro) mode is working without problems (Manual focus ok, shutter speed ok, exposure value ok, white balance with less steps, but working, manual optimization is gone), the recording modes are working as well (1080p 60fps and 4k working), and the interface is perfect even with the UI scale at 720dp (in the old version , the parameters in manual mode disappear above 600dp). Optical stabilization and laser focus are also working perfectly for photos and videos.

Nice. I have some problems with the sound. It too loud, noisy and crackles sometimes.
Maybe the reason is soundmod Viper or Dolby. How can i uninstall it?

Guys can we clearly mention Which custom ROM's Does the Pixel 3 Camera ? mod (working Night Sight) by Arnova8G2 Work? And Specifically which Build?
I have tried it on first Official Build of Pixel Experience ROM and it did work a few bugs here and there tough the Night Sight worked really well.
I also had the Pixel2Mod V8.3b1 Camera for my regular use and Pixel 3 based Night sight enabled mod for Night Mode as they have different package names.
Lets us find out the best Stable PIE ROM(With Fast Charging as well) + Pixel 3 based Night sight enabled Camera Mod Combo and keep posting updates.

So far the custom pie roms that work with pixel 3 camera 6.1 debug2 by @Arnova8G2 on Asus x00td 4/64 variant base on my experience are:
- Pixel Experience
- Liquid Remix
- Havoc
- XenonHD
- AEX official
- Frankenrom
Night sight work
front camera result become green but if I took photo with front camera outdoor with daylight it works fine

Did u uninstall previous build b4 install the 2nd debug version?
I cleared storage of the previous build b4 uninstall, then install debug2 version and work

I didn't have any previous versions. Even beta1 and 2 can't be installed. Does it have to do anything with the Gapps version installed?? I have installed full version. What have you installed??

To fix the green tint

Can you please tell as to why the app fails to install on costomer roms installed with open Gapps stock or full version? Rather other than mini version? Also could you please fix the installation error?

Bug : After installing gapps, GCam does not work "Force close"
use a root file explorer, delete the files /System/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar and /System/etc/permission/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml.

I am on AEX 6.0 android 9.0
If i install open Gapps mini with the ROM the app installs but with any other higher set of Gapps the installer fails.

stable Gcam for asus zen.max pro m1 oreo 8.1

Camera 2 api already enable but require gcam with 6.1 version with stable in all function.
Can any one help me.

there's no v6 gcam in which all features are working. You'll have to use v5 gcam for one thing or the other.

Try this. It's a GCam 6.1. I'm using thi in my Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Oreo 8.1 Stock ROM and it is stable than any latest build and everything works fine except slow motion so you can disable slo-mo in advance setting.

@amit_m3 is the green tint has been fixed when using front cam?

No green tint. Even hdr+, night sight and potrait mode works on both front and rear camera perfectly.

Are you using default settings or you changed some?
Also, have you tried the newer version? (MGC_6.1.021_BSG_Arnova-based_v.1.4_TlnNeun.apk)

I tried every version released. Some force closed and some have view finder laggy problem. So for now I use only that version I suggested for daily use.

Installed this on my M1. But its getting force stopped. Mine is 4 Gb version. Is it limited to only 6 Gb version ?

I've read somewhere that for slo-mo to work, need ASUS to release the driver for camera modules.
Can't be fixed from developers side.

Use Hypercam, the most stable gcam of all so far (I literally had been using multiple gcam for the past few months and it was around 7 different gcam)

Hi, I'm using stock pie in asuz zenfonemax pro M1 6gb varient. I tried to unlock bootloader in order to install this app. I tried this command "adb devices" in command prompt and it showed this
"List of devices attached
J6AAGF03P467K9F device"
Device is shown when it is in OS mode.
but after getting into fastboot mode, it doesn't shows any device. Please help. Thanks in advance.
