Since they are releasing Android 10 for the TMobile version, how do I get android pay to work with out going back to the TMobile software. I am running the international version.

As of right now, going back to T-mo stock is the only way.

I know there is a way and you don't need to go back. Cause this has happened before.

Yes, if you're rooted there's a way to do it with magisk. Otherwise I haven't seen one yet for non-rooted 6Ts.

Can it be rooted?

So i have a T-Mobile 7E, g935T i was wondering, can it be rooted? or have i passed the point of no return
Not yet and I won't keep my hope that high. If u really REALLY need root, best suggestion would be to get the HTC 10 seeing that u r in T-Mobile or get the one plus 3

Don't allow any updates if you haven't done so already. You might take a look at the international versions - users here for the most part are pretty happy with them.

Bounty verizon note 7 root

I'd like to officially kick off the bounty for rooting the verizon note 7. I'm certainly no pro at this stuff which is why I come to you guys for the knowledge I'm always seeking. That being said I'm not even sure how to go about donating to said bounty fund. If someone smarter than myself would like to setup said fund I'll happily throw a good chunk of cash in there for the cause. Thanks in advance.
I will contribute as well. Thanks @solos420 for getting this started.

No worries. I'm running At&t firmware on a Verizon note 7 so i observe both forums pretty much daily. Let's wait and see what he brings to the table

Verizon and AT&T phones have been nearly identical in recent years. Both are usually more locked down than T-Mobile (for example). Starting with the S7 and S7edge and now with the Note 7, almost all firmware can be universally flashed. Verizon is the best platform as they are already Sim-unlocked.
Interesting! You said your running the ATT firmware didn't you? So your rom is basically the att version?

It will. The system file is what you keep from the Sprint rom.. The nice thing is that the rom is a pre-carrier release so basically before Sprint got their hands on it to add their own bloatware.
You essentially perform the Sprint root guide but right before rooting via adb, you flash the CP, BL, and CSC from the Verizon firmware.

Sprint hasn't updated their updates page as of this post.
I got the update but have yet to install, this is what it had to say.
Edit, went ahead and updated, Android patch level is at 2016-09-01
UGH slow ass LG and Sprint
ZV6 Update
Noting that there is not too much of a difference except for the obvious Software version to ZV6 and that Baseband version adds .63052.1 to the end.
I have not been on the the G5 enough to see the difference yet. I will update anything major later.
So if i update will i loose my unlock prob because the baseband update?

So, I guess trying to root this thing is pretty much as dead as Elvis? Kind of sad, phone is great but would be the 1st Android phone I've ever used without root. Probably gonna get the Google pixel soon due to it ?

If it is like when I went from Sprint to T-mobile with my S8+, I used ODIN to load the T-mobile version of the software instead of Sprint. Imagine both Verizon and T-mobile use the same exact phone, but different software versions. Verizon is CDMA and T-mobile is GSM so unless the phone has both, it wouldn't work - but in your case it should work
