I need help with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925F, Android 7.0 stock firmware G925FXXU6ERF5, freezes & restarts a lot, sometimes it fails to display until i open it and unplug the battery terminal, sometimes it fails completely, so i just leave it & it starts by itself after hours or days. I flashing it with same firmware via odin 3.13.1, flashed successfully, user files apps remained intact but still problem not solved.

I have this galaxy s7 edge from sprint, from day 1 i was using it ok but there was an update available so i went for it OTA. the phone completed the process correctly, everything was fine. Then i powered off the phone (i had not done that since i got, kept it on and plugged during the night) that's when it started to bootloop into the logo.
I tried to flash the stock firmware, as the phone is able to go into download mode. Unfortunately as soon as the phone restarts, it wants to install an update, then the process stops at 25% or 32%, it changes every time.
Any luck ? I got same problem with my s7 edge
Do you all have disabled apps? Did you root? If you install an update with certain apps disable that's known to cause a bootloop but that's just my guess. If you say you don't have disabled apps I don't know then.

Before flashing the stock firmware, try this: Boot into stock recovery & perform a factory reset. Then boot into Download Mode & flash a firmware again.

Same issue. Factory reset from revovery. Downloaded lastest firmware for the model from SamFirm. Flashed with ODIN. Rebooted phone then stuck at 32% system update then erasing, now stuck on SAMSUNG logo. Cannot get into recovery mode by pressing Vol Up and Home button. Phone will just not respond. Will only respond once battery dies. all Lights are still on including blue light on top of phone. Any help?

hello i had this problem while i was trying to root and unlock the phone
this is what i did hopefully it works for you too
1* download the latest firmware according to your android version
use odin3 v3.13 patched version
2* boot into boot loader
chose Bl on odin and the pit file , uncheck re-partition
and press start , that will get your phone unbrick then flash the ap file and then cp and csc that shoud do the job :good:

My phone Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935FD duos
Hello guys i have a strange problem. i am using my s7edge for over a year (finally was in batman rom).
After updating to marshmallow i encountered this problem where sometimes rarely my phone reboots (reboot- - show samy logo - then reboot). sometimes after few reboots it will comeback and some other time. i need to wait till it discharges fully and charge it it comes back. (but its so random though. totally happened 3 - 4 times last year)
from last week it happened quite often once a day and from yesterday it keeps rebooting in logo no matter what i do. when this happens only download mode is accessible and twrp recovery is not accessable at all. so i waited till it discharges fully but that does not help.since download mode is accessible i used Odin and flashed stock firmware, still the same result(tried several times). its just keeps rebooting in logo even after flashing with stock firmware via Odin and i have no more options to go for. is my device hard bricked? any more options i can try??? my final hope is someone here will help me.:crying::crying:
Thank you
Oh! I just posted a similar question. After several tries, I sorted out a way to make it boot:
1) With the latest samsung drivers on my notebook, I've downloaded the latest Odin (Odin3_v3.12.3) with this stock rom from sammobile (G935FXXU1DQJ4_G935FUUB1DQJ4_ARO). According to this page this rom works in Argentina and the ARO means it is used on unlocked devices. Then it has no bloatware or any company logo.
2)Charged it for a few minutes until it reached 2~3%. Vol Down + Home + Power (in that order) and entered 'Download mode'. Then plugged it into the pc.
3) Opened AP, BL, CSC and CP files, then flashed it. Once it restarts, try to get it into recovery mode with volup+home+power and charge it. I used a power bank. Then wipe cache and factory reset. Then reboot to system and let it loop until it gets into the OS.
The one I've got in quarantine is working smooth.
Hi
I am stuck with Pulsing blue LED and the "Powered by Android" screen,
have access to both the recovery and the download Mode,
I also have Odin (version 3.13) on my computer along with TWRP (3.1.1 trlte and 3.2.1 version)
My device is a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F bought in shop, no special carrier. It was bought in the Netherlands.
I have tried everything that I have read. The furthest that I can go is the Second Samsung Logo with the Flashing Light
Whenever I try to Flash the stock Firmware for my N910F, everything goes well in Odin but then when the phone reboots, it (sometimes) install the system update until 30% then shows erasing then either crashes right there and then or load the system update bar, completes it then shuts down.
I have tried multiple firmwares, even recovery firmwares. All the same problem. I can see the firmware is flashed, because when I enter recovery mode after I flashed a different ROM, it shows the version I flashed.
I cannot seem to install TWRP because it was never rooted.
Whatever I do, at some point, my phone either gets stuck in a bootloop, freezes with the LED light or shuts down.
And I have also proceeded to use different batteries.
Do you have any options?
Thank you
Heat????
I'm far from an expert here, but I've just experienced a similar problem where my N910F started boot looping / freezing within 15s to 2 min after unlocking. Unfortunately my micro Sd (SanDisk 256GB) was corrupted a week ago, so before doing anything else I did some research (XDA/YouTube) and probably found pretty much what you've found. I frequently change batteries so I could discount that as an issue. Someone suggested using the Samsung Smart switch here https://www.samsung.com/uk/getting-started/smart-switch/, but I haven't used it (yet) so I can't tell. I presume you had the latest firmware from Sams https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-note4/SM-N910F/.
My issue was that I needed to recover data, docs, photos, phone numbers etc. When boot looping the note 4 got very hot . In particular around and to the left of the camera (looking at the rear). Thinking it could possibly be the dreaded eMMC problem which also manifests itself by creating heat, I thought cooling the device might help. I placed the Note on a cooler box freezing block and voilĂ ! No boot loop. I was able to remove all, but necessary apps and do a full copy to my PC. Storage was reduced from around 90% to 50% and memory 80% to 60%. It's now been stable for 12 hours, but the jury is still out. Next will be full reset with he latest available firmware 6.0.1 as mine was still on 5.1.1.
Good luck and hope this may be of some help.
I've got this problem, too, when using the unofficial Lineage 15.1 rom. SIM death and boot loop. After flashing the latest stock rom through odin, it passed but the screen was black and no system was installed. The blue notification light was constantly stuttering, though. And I couldn't even go to recovery!
When flashing, a 910F can get hot - use a cool temperature room and/or a fan blowing onto the device.
If it's not too late...
Hello, guys!
I'm coming here with a big problem. I used to have a Galaxy S7 Edge (Exynos edition) , but decided to buy a new phone.
I haven't use S7 Edge for 6 months, after this time the phone isn't working anymore. Used to work very well before that.
I've managed to charge it.
First symptom: keeps restarting and freezing when passing from Galaxy LOGO.
What I have tried until now:
1. Flashed TWRP 3.4.x.x
2. Flashed Floyd ROM, worked for 10-15mins but started again to enter an infinite loop of RESTARTING and sometimes freezing.
3. Flased a boot.img extracted from a UnitedKingdom SW. The flashing process was done by using adb while the phone was on TWRP.
4. Flashed Samsung Original SW using ODIN. The flashing process succeded but the phone kept showning "no command" message alongisede with a nice and green Android )
Can you help me revive this phone?
