Which TWRP do I use for Android 10 ROMĀ“S? For me everything breaks off when installing with error 7.
Both the latest vers of official TWRP or Orangefox works. Error 7 usually indicates a corrupt .zip due to download issues. Normally a fresh download solves the problem. Perhaps try a different but stable Wi-Fi AP that's available to you.
For me its working latest twrp from official website.
Use the official twrp from site. No issue at all.

I'm on global beta 6.7.21 and got an update notification of 6.7.26. A 93MB file. It downloaded ok but whenever I try to install it via TWRP it shows failure. Shows that the fingerprint doesn't match. i thought since I patched the boot.img with UBP it showed problem. So I went on to flash 6.7.21 first, then without patching boot.img tried to flash the 93MB ota. It failed again and showed the same failure that fingerprint doesn't match. It should be Xiaomi/kenzo/************* whereas it is Xiaomi/omni_kenzo/************* . Anyone on global beta miui8 having the same problem? Shout out any possible solution I may have missed.
The flashaholic in me can't live with 6.7.21 when there's 6.7.26 is out.
My phone was officially unlocked, always failed on incremental update, reboot phone then I received another ota full rom update. I normally copied it to external sd card, then flashed rom, flashed superSU and latest xposed v86 by solarwarez in one flash. Rebooted phone, everything was works great.

Heya guys, I've been rocking my OnePlus 2 for a while. I was wanting to install a newer ROM on it but I seem to run into some problems and I just can't figure it out.
I tried to install several roms (which are all based on 7.1 android) and I seem to be getting the same error on all of them: E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/crDroidAndroid-7.1-20161128-oneplus2.zip' This was when I tried the crDroid mod, of course. The only ones that seem to work are CM13 and OxygenOS 2.2.
Couldn't really find a good solution for this when I google'd. I tried carefully wiping what I had to but that didn't seem to help.
I also tried updating my recovery, but when I try to update my recovery it just freezes when I boot. I tried this using fastboot and or via TWRP. I'm currently using version 2.8.7.0 of TWRP because the lastest version of TWRP bricks my recovery. I've also tried the blue spark TWRP and TWRP-hybrid, they don't seem to work either, my phone just stays on the 1+ logo. I have to flash the old version of TWRP back onto it using fastboot to get a working recovery.
Anyone have a solution for me?
EDIT: I have a Chinese OnePlus2, the A2001.
EDIT2: Forgot to mention something that might be critical to the problem: I did update from OxygenOS 2.2.1 to the latest as of now, 3.1. This removed my TWRP recovery and I couldn't get the new one to work, which made me install 2.2.1 again. I've seen people mention some problems with 3.1 so this might be the cause of it?
So im trying to root my oneplus 5 and i started off by using Lineage OS but i wasnt too happy with it and i liked Oxygen OS much better so i decided to go back to it and while doing so like an idiot i wiped everything in twrp including the storage with all my ROM files and the phone was bricked and after a long struggle i used the unbrick tool which is called MSM tool which installed oxygen 4.5.8 using some some Qualcomm mode or something and it booted and worked fine but ever since i wasnt able to download the oxygen 5.1.1 update through the phones update section, it reaches 100% and says signature verification failed and goes back to 5%. So i tried downloading the latest Open Beta from the OP site and tried local upgrade which said installation failed so i try installing it locally through the Oxygen Recovery but again Installation failed so i try unlocking the bootloader again and installing it through twrp and it just keeps showing the boot animation forever( i know people say be patient but i waited for 20 mins+). So i decided to use the unbrick tool again and now im stuck on the OOS 4.5.8 unable to update the phone.
I tried to flash the latest oreo through twrp several times and just tried flashing it through so many ways where none worked , even adb sideloading it worked till 47% and said installation failed and everytime this happens i have nothing left to do but use the tool and unbrick it again and this takes so much time as i have to unbrick and then do the first setup and then go to fastboot and unlock the bootloader and do the setup again and transfer the files and then install twrp and flash.
Nothing has worked so far
And now even when i go back to the 4.5.8 stock after unbricking for some reason it just doesnt connect to any wifi , it just says Connecting and then saved and then disabled and repeat, only my mobile data works.
I tried to flash lineage again but got an error 7 with it or something and im back to the stock unbricked state without wifi and all i can do is unlock bootloader and install twrp.
If anybody has any suggestions and can help me please do so immediately. I require my phone urgently and need to fix this fast.
Thank You !
(btw im in India and do local service centres fix such issues?)
Make sure you use newest twrp. And also flash firmware for 5.1.1

i am using the latest codeworkx twrp 3.2.1 and when should i flash firmware? can you just give the process i should do? stuck at 4.5.8 without wifi with twrp and unlocked bootloader
Wipe everything except internal storage, after that click format data and type "yes" to accept. Then download oos 5.1.0 firmware from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/cheeseburgerdumplings/files/15.1/cheeseburger/firmware/ and lineageos 15 (or any rom you want now), gapps and move all 3 packages to your phone. Flash firmware first and then reboot to recovery. Then flash rom or gapps and reboot
You have to flash the latest TWRP from twrp.me, then download the latest OxygenOS build. Reboot into TWRP, wipe data, cache, system and flash the latest build, then just go to wipe > format data, type "yes" and reboot
Lol man your OP5 is not bricked, if you can boot on TWRP, you can install all that you want
I advise to Format Data/Storage, Wipe everything and install xXx 10.7 (OOS Custom with a great Aroma installer), choose decrypted, it's better if you want swtich rom in the future AOSP > OOS > AOSP
bro i have same probleme after install any rom custom or official , always stuck on boot logo , any solution ?
no solution??
I currently run OOS 5.1.2 (xXx No limits), with magisk 17.1 and blu_spark 3.1.2 (non treble) twrp. I want to update to Open Beta 18, so today i tried by updating the twrp to twrp-3.2.3-x_blu_spark_v9.85_treble-op5_op5t (successfully). I then removed magisk by the uninstaller and tried to boot into system (still haven't flashed the beta), and it wouldn't load. I then returned to the updated recovery to flash the full zip of the beta but had a zip verification error. I disabled zip verification then got error 7 in the twrp. For now i have reverted to a NAND recovery i had made before updating the twrp, but i would still like to update to Open Beta 18. What did i miss, and how can i make it work? please keep in mind that i would prefer a dirty flash over a clean flash if possible.
Thanks

It's been discussed 100 times on the xXx thread that it's not recommended to switch between stable and beta the dirty way cause you're facing issues. Like you.
It's also not recommended by oneplus in the official threads cause of issues.
A clean installation(look at the beta thread) saves you hours on troubleshooting/headaches in the future.
And latest stable build has advanced reboot menu instead of beta
Hi so recently today I was able to successfully flash my stock ROM from Global 11.0.3 to Europe 11.2 (20.3.5).
All works, I have a new and version specific TWRP recovery which solves the decryption issue and such.
Only problem though is I can't seem to update my ROM from the latest Europe 11.2 (20.3.12). I am aware that we cannot install OTA updates like we normally would because we are on a custom recovery. I tried flashing it from the 'choose update package' where it brought me to the TWRP and executed OpenScript to flash, and also tried flashing from TWRP itself. No luck. Bootloop into Redmi Logo and TWRP recovery, so I end up restoring the working Eu version.
An updated tutorial on how to install OTA roms on custom recoveries would really be appreciated, thanks!

IMO, if you want to update by "choose update package'", you should be also on stock recovery, not TWRP (but I'm not using eu weekly ROMs)

You use "xiaomi.eu" custom ROM ; saying "Europe" could be confused with Official EEA ROM. ^^
You can use the Updater app in this custom ROM and update/flash ROM updates.
You don't say if you use Magisk or not. Magisk could be the raison of your issue after flashing new ROM version.
