Help! My phone doesn't vibrate anymore. - Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Questions & Answers

I don't root nor flash any custom roms on my phone.
The vibrations won't work again after I turned off the "Do not disturb" mode yesterday. I've already wiped the cache through recovery, but nothing changed.
Anyone has any idea to figure this out? Please. Thanks.

It cannot vibrate or doesn't vibrate during calls and notification?
Make sure you don't disable vibrate during calls and notifications.

[Q] Oppo Find 5 Speaker and Notifications problem.

Hey guys, I'm using a 32GB International White Find 5. I'm running ColorOS v1.0.2i beta. After I flashed the ROM it replaced my custom TWRP recovery with a recovery from oppo. I seem to have lost root access and the speakers, tactile feedback and vibrations aren't working. No ringtone or vibrations when any messages or calls come through. No music or alarm playback through the rear speakers, and no tactile feedback when typing. I wanted to flash another ROM and try but it isnt getting rooted via CASUAL anymore as the hack pack doesn't detect my phone. Please help. I'm stuck without notifications. Someone please tell me how to go back to even stock firefly and root again. The ROM I'm using is made by oppo only so I have no idea what to do.
Update
Rooted using framaroot, put cwm, flashed cm10.1, still no speakers, ringtones, tactile feedback or notifications. please guys help me out.

Phone wont sleep ro turn off while charging.

For some reason my phone has to be turned off manually every time. Does not time out at all. Set to 30 seconds.
Dev options "stay awake" is off, daydreaming is off, most of the bells and whistles are off (air view, gestures, etc...)
While plugged into charger it stays awake just the same, but even if i turn it off manually it will light up by itself in 5 seconds...
How to ascertain what keeps my phone awake ? This is annoying...
Help ?
P.S. Prefer not to wipe if i can...

IF you are sure everything normal in Settings
so
This can happen because of some bad apps (called malware or ...)
u should check if u installed an application that get System Permissions to wake ur screen up!
u can search "wakelock permission android" to read more about it.
the solution is finding this app and uninstall it
if u cannot find it so u need to Reset to Factory
and If u guess an app can do this but problem remains after uninstall it then it s problem in ur rom
u can Flash another Stock firmware (sammobile.com/firmware) so u don't need to wipe rom.
after all if u still see the same issue WIPE it
Hit Thanks if it was useful
:good:
I'm having the same problem with mine phone...

Yup but a data factory reset would be adviced too next to flashing a stock rom first.
Try to remember which apps you installed recently and force stop one by one until the screen times out.

Hi all.
my mobile phone:
Axon 7 A2017G bo8 with Android 6.0.1
I have tried to unluck the bootloader, Install TWRP and Root.
with "Link" this guide.
I think I did everything right. Bootloader is unlocked, I have the TWRP menu and my phone is rootet. I have done everything as it is in the guide.

The only sound i get is the lock sound.
What I've tried: wipe, advanced wipe dalvik/ ART cache, Cache; Format data.
I have restored my phone with the backup i have made before i started to root. It worked but still I had no sound.

none sticking ringtones

I have updated to the latest OxygenOS and I think since then I haven't been able to make a custom ringtone or notification tone stick.
I 1st noticed then when I got a phone call today and it was the stock oneplus tone. Tried to change it but it would still use the same tone.
I tried booting into safe mode but still the same issue.
I select a custom tone, phone rings stock tone and sets it back to stock.
Anyone else with this problem? I don't want to flash back to previous OxygenOS as I will loose my data?
Thanks

Do you have Xposed? It is a known issue for early versions of Xposed for Nougat. The latest versions fixed this issue.
If you do not want to update Xposed, there is a module that fixes this issue https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-oos-background-dex-optimization-fix-t3687603
