My Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime phone suddenly shut down when i was using it and now keeps rebooting in a loop. My start button doesn't work anymore and I always start my phone by plugging it into a power supply, pressing volume down and menu key and then selecting the restart phone option. After several reboots, i tried the volume up option and it started in ODIN Mode. I couldn't exit it as i had no start button so i removed the battery and restarted like i usually do. Now the phone keeps starting with the initial Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime logo, then the following text appears at the bottom of the screen:
# MANUAL MODE #
- - Appling Multi-CSC . . .
Applied the CSC-code : SLK
and keep rebooting. I don't want to reinstall a fresh rom if possible. Please help!
did you recently flash a rom? could be you used the wrong one
or are you in sri lanka? because slk code if for sri lanka
if not google search "change csc code" and change it to the correct location, that should fix it

I have a Galaxy S, with i9000XWJM1 firmware. I tried to update with Kies, using Kies Patcher, to modify the registries with CNX XXJM1(it is for Vodafone Romania unbranded).
Kies made successfuly the update, the phone restarts, play the forst "Galaxy S" logo, play the sound, and then apeear the "S" logo... Then it vibrates once. Normaly, after this it should open the home screen locked, and then slide the tab to unlock the screen. My phone is stucked with the big "S" colored logo, and keeps to vibrate and nothing happen's...
I got it in download mode, flash again i9000XWJM1, and then upgrade again to 2.2 with Kies....same result....
And I don't know what is the problem....
Any body can help me please?
Thank you very much.
try factory reset, wrked for me
I had the same issue, had to take it in to Samsung. They reflashed it and had it back in 1 hour
The only solution until now, is to enter in recovery mode and "wipe all data/factory reset".... The big problem for me is that my phone doesn't have the "3 button combo" enabled. To enter in download mode I use the JIG method(it works every time). For recovery mode I found one strange method, but work every time...
I downloaded a froyo 2.2 file( .tar type) , and I think that it's corupted. I flash it with Odin, the phone restarts, try to load this file and get eror, but I can use the recovery menu...)
Ok, this is the solution, but I think that the most important thing is to known what causes this kind of problem...
Hello
I've got an s7 edge exynos doesn't power up! it shows in device manager of pc as exynos8890, I tried recovery and download mode but doesn't work, I also made a jigg cable but doesn't want to get to download mode.
Please help.
Do you have a Samsung Service Centre nearby.
Have you tried the known operation of holding a sequence of buttons to see if that wakes it up.
That did the trick
Anyways the freezes a lot and restarts by itself, I wanted to try os 7 and did a btu flash with csc, not home csc, now even when I use smartswitch with sn to restore the full stock I don't get the carrier logo and wonder if that is the problem with the freezing and restarts, I also flashed the very first firmware but it is the same!!! any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
Hi, i tried flashing galaxy a5 2017 from 7.0 to 6.0.1, the flash failed and the phone became stuck in download mode, odin stopped detecting it and wouldn't restart, totally unresponsive. I got the back off and unplugged the battery and back in so i could restart it but it wouldn't restart, no response at all.
When i plug it in socket or pc it starts charging with the circle and % on screen and when the screen dims it lights back up when pressing home and either volume but not power. Also when plugged into pc odin detects the phone and allows the adding of the roms but gets stuck on setupconnection.
I've tried recovery like power and volume down for 10-15 seconds and nothing, tried safe mode and downloading mode, every combination i could find. The firmware i got was from updato which is A520FXXU1APLL VOD United Kingdom (Vodafone). I'm in the uk.
There's no damage to the power button.
Any help please?
Thanks
Sorted it out
Hi, I'm new here so I don't know where to post stuff.
My S8 (SM-G950FD Android 9.0) suddenly stopped working. I was in my office and suddenly my phone rebooted and stuck on Samsung Galaxy S8 Boot screen.
Device Details:
Name: Samsung Galaxy S8
Model: SM-G950FD
Android version: 9.0
Security patch: I think I updated it to July patch not sure.
OEM Lock: On
FRP Lock: On
RP SWREV: B:5 K:4 S:4
Region: India (INS)
USB-Debugging: probably off not sure
Problem:
I'm not able to boot my phone.
1) Recovery Mode not accessible
2) Download mode is accessible
2.1) If I press volume up after pressing Bixby + v-down + power. The phone enters in download mode.
2.2) If I press volume down then it freezes. I have to use force restart using volume-down + power.
3) On Charging it just show a screen with a circle and power icon (no charging)
What I've tried till now.
1) Flashing with Odin. (not successful) the version used were 3.13.x where x = 1, 2, 3 and 3.12.3 as well.
2) I do have the right firmware from sam-mobile (although I tried multiple after it failed)
3) I have tried repartition, pit file (extracted from CSC) and also NAND-ERASE (Odin Always Fails).
4) Multiple data cables
5) I have the Driver installed as I can see COM ports.
6) I've tried spamming the start button of Odin once it fails and it reboots into download mode.
What I've succeeded in till now
Once I tried to flash the Stock Recovery which I extracted from the AP file from the firmware.
After countless failure, it flashed. ODIN said PASS.
So I connected my charger. This time I can see the percentage of battery (Still power off) then I powered it on.
it went past the Samsung galaxy s8 screen bt got stuck on Samsung (logo) the LED was blue.
and then again it went to its previous state.
P.S. I'll be glad If someone can help me out.
Hi guys!
I've read tons of threads and guides on Google but nothing helped me to bring to life my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. After hours and hours of test and probes I surrender!
Basically I was using normally my phone and suddenly has power off and showing the Samsung Galaxy Logo continuously. I've force reboot it with vol down+pwr button and after some minutes restart normally again. After 5min again the boot loop and stuck there. Tried again to power it off but didn't work so I thought was the battery (because is 3yrs old with heavy use and months ago I had the screen flickering and a battery drain to zero). I opened the phone, unplug the battery and the power button (because I thought was the power button stucked as on my father phone). So after mounted all the stuff in their place I tried to boot it and suddenly start to work again! I've backup all my things rapidly but again power off by himself and this is the last time I see it working.
So I tried to empty the cache entering in the recovery but it was useless so the only way seems flashing the original FW with Odin. Downloaded the right one with Frija, upload the rights files in Odin (Home_csc because I don't want to lose my internal memory stuff) and the phone automatically reboots, pass the Samsung logo and go in Upgrading mode with the blue android screen and a % increasing. After that by himself power off and nothing happen.
I read some stuff about my possibilities to recover it without losing data but a lot of tutorial talk about entering in recovery but I cannot do it! Simply does not go in recovery with vol_up+bixby+pwr_button even after force shutdown it with vol_down+pwr_button or reattach the battery. The only thing I'm allowed to do is put it in Download Mode to be recognized by Odin.
I've tried to launch ADB devices but it is not visible in Download Mode.
I've tried to flash another firmware for the same model (theoretically my one is unbranded italian) but I tried with WIND one because in download mode there is a text "Carried_ID:WIND" but this FW Odin fail to upload it.
I've tried to flash the TWRP with Odin but fails on the phone with error "Custom binary(recovery) blocked by FRP Lock". I've searched how to unlock it but without have access to recovery or phone settings seems impossible. And this phone has also OEM Lock.
I've tried again to flash the FW but the only difference than before was the blue android robot with stucked text "Installing system update", "Erasing" , "yellow advice notice" and finally a green screen with "An error has occurred while updating the device software.Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC Software". And yes, I already tried with Smart Switch but the program does not detect the phone.
I've also tried to flash the original recovery but nothing change.
Seems that my devices is bricked or a kind of boot loop.
In my situation there is something that I can do to recover the internal memory data? I don't tried to flash the FW with CSC file because I don't want to erase all the data.
My Galaxy was original since the purchasing, no root or flashed a FW, only OTA updates.
I've attached a photo with the stuff that appear in Download mode.
