Which apps? MIUI or Play?
For play you go to play store, three lines, settings, auto update apps
For MIUI go to settings, system apps updater, cog icon, auto updates

So it's not possible. Give "us" some screenshots.
What? Never seen it - if you choose to not update auto it won't. Maybe you have chosen to update over mobile data I stead of turning it off?
Problem solved. Turned off updates in play store

Is there a way to disable play store from automatically updating? I've already disable auto update in settings, but play store stills updates itself.
I really hate the single panel view of the newest version and want to keep it at its current version without having to uninstall the update everday
Thought I had the solution but doesn't work.
Anyone having issues with updating your apps?
Happens seemingly at random. A group of apps, not the same apps each time, fail to start the update and stuck.
What I tried:
Restart to the phone won't help.
Cleared play store cache
Uninstalled/reinstalled the app, sometimes works other times not
Any ideas what to do?

try to open mi-assistant app and then go to auto run manager and enable auto run for google play and google play service
I disabled Hangouts some time ago and now I want to re-enable it. However I can't. When I go to Settings>Applications it isn't there no matter how I look (disabled apps, all apps etc.) When I go in the play store I see Hangouts and it has an Enable button but it does nothing. I was able to re-enable Chrome. Any ideas how I can get Hangouts back (short of a factory reset).
I have a Exynos S7E running the latest official Nougat beta.

system>application> press more>show system app. i believe its in there.
Thanks edan. I still can't see it. Strangely I can see Android System Webview but I can't re-enable that.

why dont you try download the apk from somewhere and install it. who knows if it will enable the apps. i suggest download it from apkmirror.
Thanks for trying edan but that didn't work. Looks like I will switch to my Honor 8 and reset the S7E.

I've found a somewhat hacky solution to the "Waiting for Network" issue I've been running into when I try to update/download apps through the Google Play Store and figured I'd share since it took me forever to find it. The Play Store would like to auto-update to 7.6, but if you go into Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > 3 dot menu > Uninstall Updates, you should revert back to 7.2.
If you open the Play Store again (or even sometimes not...it'll just automatically try to update again immediately) you'll see a notification that something's downloading....that's that update to 7.6. If you move quickly, you can cancel that download and stay on 7.2, which has allowed me to download/update again. Now since I'm not on my phone 100% of the day, it usually downloads the update within the next few days if I don't happen to be on my phone when it attempts an update but I feel like this "solution" I've found, while tedious, isn't too cumbersome.
Note that I haven't needed to touch Google Play Services or anything like that, the problem only seems to be with the Play Store app itself.
Something much easier: just force quit the play store when it acts up. I have to do that maybe once a week if that. Not a fix but it's certainly an easier band-aid.

That doesn't work, at least not for me.
Force closing the PlayStore did work for me ... immediately started downloading the apps that were needing an update.
Thanks Nolimit78!
With last Ota update, problem solved!

I haven't gotten an OTA update yet. Seems like only the A2017g models for the update so far. Anyone know when the A2017U will get an update?

Seems like this issue has been fixed with newest version of play store.

Hello friends, I and using oneplus 6t with oxygen is 9.0.4. All other apps notifications are working, even download bar from browser works only exception to be Google play Store. It doesn't show notification of apps are available to be updated also no download progress bar when an app is being downloaded.
I did all these :
Clearing cache of playstore, even data.
Cache of play services, data
Restarting mobile
Notification is on from playstore setting as well as phone app setting
Known issue on the official forums..I was initially having this issue yesterday.. eventually play store just started working later in the day.

What could be the reason for this as, notifications for download is controlled by download manager and notification from setting for that is on and all other downloads are showing when in progress, only Google play store behaving like this.
