MCU Identification help for Kunfine branded head unit - Android Head-Units

Hello,
I purchased a head unit last year from Kunfine only to be told by the reseller that the unit cannot be upgraded. I am hoping they are wrong as I chose the hardware due to the ability for it to handle future upgrades.
The head unit is for a 201i Toyota Prius and the Specs are as follows:
Android Version 6.0.1
Kernel Version
3.10.0
Jan-31-2018 20:11:54
Dec-27-2017_M11_E11
System Version
201802271502
MCU Version
CSN_Dec272017_091312 T: 66C M: 70C F:1400000
CPU
64-Bit 8-Core Cortex-A53 1.4GHz
Memory Size
2048MB
In full transparency, I am not having any particular problems with the head unit, I just want to upgrade it to a later version of Android. In recent searches, there does not appear to be a lot of information on this reseller other than it may be a Klyde unit, so any input or suggestions would be much appreciated. In addition, I should have checked here first before purchasing as I would have definitely chose a model that is supported by the manufacturer.
Edit - I also used Surfer63's HWgetinfo.apk to get the hardware information but am unable to post the link to the file

Update possibilities for my Android unit

Hi!
Recently, I bought an Android 2Din Unit. Actually it should have Android 6.0 installed on the device. However, after the installation it turned out, that there is Android 5.1 on it. It seems that the manufacturer/brand does not even have an own homepage/forum to provide updates etc.
I wonder if I can use the software update from another, quite similar device. The one I have, does look very similar to another Chinese Android 2DIN from Pumpkin. It is an Intel Sofia device with 2GB RAM 1024x600px Display and 16GB ROM.
This is my unit
This is the almost identical Pumpkin unit 11-RQ0278E
Would it be possible to simply use an update file from the mentioned Pumpkin unit? Or are there also working custom ROMs here on XDA?
Thanks in advance

New E-Tong unit released. Identify hardware?

A new unit was just released for the 2004-2008 Acura TSX, which is a first as removal of the stock radio removes the dual zone climate controls as well. This is an awesome surprise for the TSX community, as before we were stuck with a god awful replacement for the stock CC system if we wanted to use a double din.
Anyhow, I've reached out to E-Tong and a representative sent me some images of the About Device screen. I was hoping the community here might shed some information based on what little info I have.
This is the unit in particular:

Now I'm assuming this has an Intel Sofia 3GR, particularly the Atom x3-C3200RK, as no 3G connectivity is listed for the unit outside of "support 3G dongle". I'm basing this on the Mali-450, lack of native 3G support, and 3200 in "Machine Code Response". Other than that, I'm guessing.
Assuming I'm correct, would the Sofia 3GR with 1GB RAM on 6.0 be adequate for Pandora/Spotify and Waze? I have no real other desired usage outside of that and rare bluetooth calls, with maybe the exception of playing some movie files for my kids on long road trips via a USB drive.
If so, anything to be aware of up front? I'm assuming I should be prepared to remove the unit cover and add a heatsink and fan assembly to the SoC package already. Suggested mods or tweaks?
Any and all information appreciated. I'll be relaying this information to my TSX forums as well. Thanks everyone!
Anyone have any insight?
Hey there, i just bought a radio from aliexpress for my 2003-2007 honda accord and all my info lines up with yours. I was wondering if you found out any information on it? Do you know the firmware to use to update the MCU? Thanks!
** EDIT if you care still lol
Are unit is joying software. If you look on their forum you can find a screen shot that matches ours. I ran that update and ran the root for joying devices from here and it worked great. I got viper4android installed and got some custom mods installed and it's working great.

I am thinking of buying this unit, how is it in your TSX? I currently have a non-nav TSX so I don't know if I will need to mess with the wiring harness or not.
Any help?
I have the same unit, and the clock and GPS doesn't work anymore. I wanted to reset to factory or try and upgrade it. I have it in my TSX now.
Can you advise any suggestions or recommendations?
On every start up the time goes back to 2013, 11:00pm. The only way to fix it, is go find a wifi, since GPS doesnt work.
I tried contacting XEOWYN, with no luck. I regret buying this.

Might be a long shot, but I'm having issues with my unit and would like to try and update the firmware and/or software. I'm currently on android 6.0, been seeing the newer models are on android 8.1. I tried searching through the joying forum as you suggested with no success.... Is there any possible way that you could lead me to a specific solution? Thank you for your time and good day to you.
Got the same device, but still on Android 5.
Joying firmware gets looped on MCU update, if I remove the folder with MCUs and the update binary, it stops with "OTA package and app package need to be updated at the same time"
Any advice?

Need help!!! Not sure which manufacturer or which MCU

I've purchased an android head unit from seicane for 2012 subaru forester (9" headunit with trim with vent holes). I know they're just a seller.
I'm looking for help as to what manufacturer and what mcu version. So that I can update the mcu.
Reason being the screen is not responsive.
Had to use keyboard and mouse to go into settings.
I will include what was said on the screen under system settings and about device below
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm very new to the android head unit. Only had it for less than a week.

I think joying is having this issue.
top 10% of touch screen wont work.
They gave an update that removes mcu google service.
Not sure whats going on.
Android kills touch screen if its out of date or what?

Allwinner T8 8 core? Or is it?

I ordered this unit from China and am having a tough time deciding exactly what it is. Settings say it's a T3-P1. Aliexpress showed that if it's 8 core it is a T8. The thing that's confusing me is the MCU Version which shows "stm32-20190924-11-kc1-38" instead of the normal T8 that I've been seeing with the T8 units discussed on here. STM32 seems to be common in the Rockchip PX6 units? My processor is listed as sun8iw11 but everything I search on that comes up for quad core and the settings info shows it to have 8 cores.
I was hoping someone could help lessen the confusion I have with this unit. I believe it to be the T8, but the STM32 MCU version has me scratching my head as it doesn't seem to match any of the T8 MCU's that all seem to start with T8 I've read about on here. All I really want to do is get the development settings enabled, which seem to be missing completely as far as I can tell, so I can set a mock location app. Also on that note, the extra settings on this unit is hidden, you have to tap os version then kernel version 3 times and it never prompts for password. Root would be cool too, but I'm not very hopeful that it is possible on this unit, although, figuring out exactly what I have is the first step to any mods anyways.
I've included a couple pictures of the settings pages on the unit and one for the technical specs that were listed on the aliexpress page when unit was purchased. All help is appreciated!
Should be noted as well, tapping on Kernel version, OS version 3 times to access the hidden settings is something I found in a RockChip PX6 thread. It's weird, I almost feel like it has T8 hardware running PX6 software and MCU or something.

HU PX6 RK3399 help identifying MCU?

i got a headunit, Andream 7" android 9.0 PX6 for Audi A4/Q5 B8.
Andream headunit (Link to unit / seller)
link to suplier (link to suplier)
its a PX6 RK3399 unit acording to CPU-Z, it has some wierdness in CPU-Z, iwill post those pictures also, it reports RK3066 and RK30board, but it looks like they used a RK3066 board with a RK3399 unit, the processors show up properly.
but im looking for the MCU version, but i cant figure out what it is, the version number dont give me anything.
you can se in the pictures the number, but if its hard to read it says MCUVers: 415175bLZH-Q5-AL-7-190817[170325]
i have spent the day trying to google the number, found a nother post here on QXDA but no information about what MCU thats in it.
i want to flash it with malaysk or Hal, but since i dont know the right MCU i am afraid to brick it.
i posted from CPU-Z, about unit and from the settings in the UI.
the API level from CPU-Z atleast comfirms that its a actual android 9, not a lower with a fake tag on it.
