Any package disabler without root?

I really dont want to root. Coming from a smasung device we were able to use package disable to disable system app etc. Any app avail for oneplus that DOES NOT require rooot?

Unlike the bloat known as Samsung you really don't need to disable apps forcefully to alter the performance of the device. Perhaps just disable Google Play Movies and whatnot through the factory settings. and the few other applications that are preloaded Google apps that you may not use.
I've owned a few Samsung phones in the past so I know what you mean (and currently still have a Galaxy Tab S3 using said app). On a device like the Tab S3, yes it 100% was worth disabling stuff to speed up the device. Not necessary on the OnePlus. There really isn't much "bloat."
Lastly, common misconception is I'll get more storage space by removing system applications. You're not gaining any space on your DATA partition but rather on your SYSTEM partition should you forcefully uninstall (which requires root anyways to do so).

Im not looking for perfomance. Just to freeze and hide apps from my phones ???

You can do this without root easily. Enable dev opts, then use adb..

I tried using App Freezer:

It's supposed to work on most Android devices,not just user specific ones.
I couldn't get it to work,kept getting an "Accounts need to be removed" message when using ADB to do the initial set-up.
I even went as far as removing the OnePlus account app,even though I'd never logged-in to it & I still got the error.
I pinged the developer,they didn't have much to offer except to factory reset & try again,or use on a rooted device,which doesn't require ADB set-up.

Anything with "logkit" or similar is worthy of getting rid of,ditto for the OnePlus account app,backup/etc...

Naturally,if one uses any of these services,leave 'em alone.
AFAICT,I'm not experiencing any undesired effects from removing these via ADB (I'm still stock/unrooted).
If anything critical turns out to be broken by removing the above apps,I'll be more that happy to edit/update with explanatory notes.

That would be anything you dont like or want in /system/app or /system/priv-app

While it is true that removing/disabling APKs in /system doesn't free up any space in /data (not sure how anyone would think that, but ok...) it could free up RAM that these APKs were using. Now, would that really make a difference in performance? Probably not at all. And with 6/8gb RAM, you wont likely run out and need more RAM freed up.
The OP asked how to remove/disable apps without root. Clearly he wishes to do so, regardless of any of our opinions. Let's try to remember that.

Fire 10 (2019) launcher

Sorry if this has been asked but I've been trying to use launcher hijack on my fire 10 2019 at first it will work for a second but then always defaults back. After a reboot Amazon disables it, are there any other apps I can use to do this with. I'm currently running fire OS 7. 3.1.1

Your LauncherHijack will blocked by Amazon. It suspects to block LauncherHijack is Arcus Android Client (com.amazon.nimh)
Can you use a modified version of LauncherHijack (changed package name) or you resolve it by uninstalling Arcus Android Client app from updates to back into older version and block DeviceSoftwareOTA OTA update app from internet access by using NoRoot Firewall from Google Play store.

After i installed trebuchet, I disabled the stock launcher and OTAs been 2 months and never came back.

Been using Amazon Fire Toolbox V6.x and Nova Launcher since November on my HD 10 (2019) 7.3.1.1 , and it has only reverted back to the Fire launcher once since then. I just updated the Fire Toolbox and re-installed the Nova Launcher and all was well again, holds across reboots.
Love the YouTube Vanced also, no stinkin' ads.

Sorry I'm kind of a noob but I installed nova launcher. Did everything to set it up. Got a modified version of hijack v4 and everything. Now I'm trying to set nova launcher as my default app but I don't even have the option of setting a default home app

Thank you! Installed Nova Launcher (and opened the app so there was no issues) and disabled the fire launcher and it worked! My 8th gen Fire 8 defaulted to Nova Launcher immediately. The OTA stuff was already disabled because I followed this post:

Problem with Launcher Hijaker on FireHD10 2017 5.3.7.0

Hi,
I am having a "small problem" after the latest Update to 5.3.7.0
Since that update, when you press home, the Amazon Launcher appears (either for a few seconds, or once you click something) and then goes to the Nova Launcher.
I am not sure what my latest version of the launcher hijack is, it doesn't show a version info anywhere. I remember update it when Amazon broke it the last time by deleting the app.
Any ideas? I haven't found any other threads about this.

No need to start a separate thread. There is plenty of discussion around this behavior in the original Launcher Hijack thread. No real solutions other than tapping an application icon during the delay which reverts to Nova Launcher.

Really, I'm just trying to get my Fire 10 to be more like stock android. I was able to root it using Kingoroot but I'm unsure where to go from here as far as installing a custom rom like LineageOS, or if that's not possible, disabling as much of the Fire-related stuff and running a custom launcher. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

After installation of Lineage OS, is it still necessary to go through the disable OTA steps (or would all the amazon OTA stuff have been overwritten)?

Is it actually still possible to follow that procedure for installing a custom rom through TWRP since I am on the latest FW OTA update (5.3.7.0)? Is it still possible to do the downgrade step?

Once rooted and in custom rom, can a kid still use Freetime app as a standalone app?

I have not tried it, but it is available in the playstore to install as a stand alone app. I dont see any reason why it wouldn't work.

I don't think this works with 5.3.7? Or I'm missing something? It fails on the step-1.sh script due to incompatibility with the mtk-su script? Is there a work-around?

How do I change the launcher on HD Fire 10 (2019) (+ a few other questions)?

I've had a Fire HD 10 (2019) knocking around since black Friday, and I've finally got around to looking at it...
I realise that it's not fully rooted, but does has some sort of temporary root... (from this thread)

The thread mentions 2 ways of gaining root. The initial temporary one and a partial " bootless root for a more permanent root solution".
I don't really need root for this tablet except to be able to mod it to run a different launcher and debloat it. I don't intend to install any Magisk modules.
So should I just use the toolkit to gain temp root, install google play stuff, disable OTA's and then install a new launcher...
or should I setup the bootless root and then do the other stuff (with or without the toolkit)?
Is the bootless root permanent (i.e it persists after a reboot), in which case I could use something like Icebox to freeze the main launcher and other apps?
Can I delete the the main launcher and then install Nova launcher and rename it to that of the original launcher?
Finally what's the best way to ensure I don't accidentally update the tablet whilst setting it up?
It's already asking to connect to wifi during setup (It so far has never been online or even setup)....

Hey just wanted to give you a big thanks!, Just picked up a new HD 10 for an elderly relative that found the amazon launcher just way too much. and confusing.
hijacker kept kicking back into the amazon launcher if they accidentally hit the wrong keys, etc.
I was able to setup a very nice simple nova launcher setup and the user is extremely pleased with the easier than ipad simplicity and no way to screw anything up.

How do I reverse the process,if I want to go back to stock launcher
