Hi.
I have an unlocked and rooted Samsung Note 3 (SM9005), running a port of Paranoid Android 5.1.1
I'm looking to install Darklord's Note 5 port, and thought - for security reasons about relocking the bootloader. There doesn't seem to be any information (other than for Nexus devices; and then literally only ONE page). This page* suggests 'fastboot oem unlock'. Does anyone know if this would work with my Note 3?
Cheers
M.
*Just search "Security Benefit To "fastboot Oem Lock" After Rom Installation?" first google result
There's no bootloader for note 3 instead you have Odin to flash ROMs and files
The bootloader on the n9005 has never been locked afaik. The only Note 3 with a locked bootloader would be the AT&T Note 3.
Hello, Can you help me bypass the Samsung Reactivation Lock on a Galaxy A5 2015 model SM-A500FU running official Android Lollipop 5.0.1? I tried going into the accessibility settings -> TTS Options bug and accessed browser but the A5 doesn't have a Manage Accounts tab so I can't add another account. Also I can't use the KNOX Launcher UI bug/method because the device was rooted in the past. And I tried taking the phone to a repair store but no one would do anything, I am living in Romania so pretty much that's why. Can you help me with some info, bugs to bypass the reactivation lock on my phone? Thank you very much!

It doesn't work like that, and I can't downgrade from 5.0.2 to 4.4.4 because I tried before and the phone will be permanently dead and won't be able to start in recovery or download mode after downgrading to KitKat. So, any other ideas?

The reactivation lock is in security settings, you need to activate it then deactivate. Only then is it turned off
Or flash a firmware from another country.
Sent from my SM-N920F
More or lesser its that what i mean, lol.
Hello,
I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 (SM-T285) running android Lollipop (5.1.1) and unrooted.
I'm following this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/help/to-root-t580-585-tripping-knox-t3482853 to root my device.
So my question is :
1) Do i need to unlock bootloader before proceeding to the next step?
2) If yes, how to unlock my device bootloader?
Sorry for asking this question, I'm new to android device.
Thank you.

1.) Yes.
2.) Enable developer mode on your device by clicking the build no. 3 times in the device info page under settings. A new menu for Developer options should show up, there should be an item there "Oem unlock" or something.
Same problem here...can anyone tell me a solution to get the tab working??
Sorry if this has been asked before but I have searched everywhere and can't find the answer. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e model SM-T727U. It's an LTE model and this tablet is fantastic - terrific screen, excellent speakers. But I can find very little about the T727U. I've unlocked Developer options but there is no OEM Unlock or Unlock Bootloader in the Dev options menu.
I don't want to attempt to unlock the bootloader or even try root unless I know for certain it work on the SM-T727U as I don't want to risk bricking my tablet. Can anyone tell me if the T727U can be rooted, and if so how? Thank you.
