Timers - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, does anyone know how to reset the timers? I'm talking about the stock timers that are available as a tile. On my previous watch (Polar M600), if I kept setting the same timer several times, it eventually became one of the three default timers. On my new watch (Fossil Gen5), it won't... Is there any way to reset them?
Thanks.

sddaemon.exe / cnt_event

I got around 50 of those sddadeamon. And check notification wont remove it either, anyone else got problems with those?
tap and hold on the item and then tap delete. That worked for me, just clearing the list with the clear button did not work. As you have 50 of these items, have fun
hum did that now, but i did a reset after and now all of the sddadeamon.exe is back damn
Hmmm, for me only one sddaemon event is created every soft reset, which i then kill immediately. I am sorry, son't think I can help you here.
I get one with every soft reset, but I think using the voice dial also creates one.
I use MemMaid to remove all duplicates, always leaving one.
I haven't come across more details other than it is part of the voice dial app...or how to stop it from duplicating.
aaa fixed it =)
how?
anyone know where to get memaid?
I too use MemMaid for my K-JAM.
Excellent software.
But still, what does sddadeamon do?

AM / PM Time Oddity

Hey guys, this is an odd one... can someone explain this..
Normally in the time/alarm area...it allows you to choose between AM/PM.
For some strange reason.. My phone has broken it up into
A1/A2/A3/.../.../A11/A12
P1/P2/P3/.../.../P11/P12
Does anyone know what this is/means or how/why it has happened? I just did a new hard reset and have been slowly adding programs.. but this doesn't make sense - my programs installed have no time options nor have i installed any strange registry hacks.
Can i change it back without doing another hard reset?
Thanks. SINC
Are you able to show is a screen print of this screen?
saw this happen on my device when i made it display the date and time on the startmenu bar and had am/pm shown.

Alarm goes of twice at ones

Hello,
Just recenty, I started having this very odd issue with my tytn. When I set an alarm, it goes of at the specified time, but twice!
So the alarm sound is mixed with itself (second one has a slight delay), and the pop-up box displays "alarm 1/2". I also get the option to "dismiss this alarm" or to "dismiss all".
The phone is competely unmodded, no software has been added or removed prior to this problem surfacing. A soft reset didn't help...
Any suggestions?
(I'm fearing it will be a hard reset )

Get yourself one of the applications that clears duplicate notifications. SKtools is one but there are others.
Also have a look at this thread

V J....mine does the same thing as well.
I have alarms set for Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri. It seems in only does the duplicate alarm on certain days (tuesdays so far) and not any of the others.
Thanks, I'll give it a go (but I did a hard reset yesterday...).

Because of these bugs and ugly interface I had to search available alarm software solutions. And I found! Novii (www.novii.tv) released WAWA alarm software that lets my handheld turn on my TV to wake me up! TV is not necessary - it can turn on my DVR or Music Center - anything with infrared. Moreover, WAWA has all the functions of an ordinary alarm clock. A low price was a surprise for me ($14.99) I coudn't resist and purchased this app. It's so nice and so useful!

Need help - Registry Edit for notifications

I recently modified the registry on my ATT 8525 to eliminate the SMS Sent notification message (thanks to those that posted the info here, it's a god send!)
Anyways, during the process I inadvertently modified the wrong notification line and now I do not get any notifications when my alarm clock goes off (other than it going off to wake me up). I can't snooze it or even turn it off though, as the notification prompt doesn't appear.
I now have to turn off the volume, modify sounds/notifications to all off, and wait about two hours for the system to stop activitating the alarm. Needless to say I've missed many a phone call during this two hour "silent" timeframe.
Can anyone tell me where this is and what the setting should be?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hmmmm... after looking over the wiki I can't see that you affected anything else in that directory...
Was the change you made in the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings directory???
You might need to hard reset to get rid of the problem (resetting the registry back to stock). But I would wait to see if anyone else here has info that could help you.
I suggest you look around and get the palm threaded sms app (you can warez it well!).... Its the best thing since sliced bread! (Just make sure to change the default mms settings, original .cab was based on sprint network, but its very easy to change)
My two cents...

I don't recall. What I did was change what I thought was the setting. Then I sent a text. It didn't work, so I changed it back and started over. I did this three times. I think I changed something and forgot to change it back? Problem is I don't know what I didn't change back
I really don't want to do a hard reset, but I'm getting to that point. Now my phone alarm won't go off -- I think there are too many notifications back logged. When I soft reset it sounds like it's trying to play 100 alarms all at once
Can anyone else help out?
Indeed it may have happened anyway as the notification queue does get clogged. So before a hard reset you could clear duplicates using the likes of Scarybear Check Notifications (freeware) OR Sktools OR Memmaid neither free but have many other features beside clearing duplicate notifications.
Mike
Thanks for the advice...however, I can remove the notifications HKCU\System\State but it's only temporary. (scarybear does not list that program on their site any longer)
I really need to find out how to get notifications turned back on!
I know it's a reg edit that I missed changing back, I just don't know which one as I didn't realize the problem for a couple of days.
Anyone else have any help? Surely someone out there knows where these notifications are in the registry
Personally I say just take an hour of your free time and hard reset. Make sure everything is all good.
You might also use a program like HTCustom to do the regedit for you next time. That way you won't inadvertantly change anything.
Well I was really hoping to avoid a hard reset when all I need to do it make one simple registry change But it does appear that I may have to do it since no one seems to know where this change needs to take place.
I've probably spent an hour going through the registry looking for anything that could possibly be the alarm notification, but I've had no success.
Thanks to those of you that offered advice, I do appreciate it. Guess it's time to bite the bullet.

Alarm set, still goes off two times a day

As the thread title says, i have none of the alarms set and still it goes off at around 11 aclock and 13 a clock every day. I _think_ it started after daylight saving turned my clock forward one hour but I still dont know what to do with that information.
Obviously I've turned off all of the alarms (and none of them are set at said times) and started using another alarm program, but that doesnt solve this problem im afraid.
Is there a string somewhere in the registry where it can be found and just wiped or something? Any clues are welcome.
(No notifications on set time either, before anyone asks )
there are two places to tinker with and set/unset alarms, the sense alarms page, or
settings tab - menu - all settings - clocks & alarms.
I had a similar issue briefly before i moved away from the stock rom, where i would unset an alarm but it would still sound, or sound two different rings at the same time.
I found that sometimes the two alarms pages aren't set to the same thing, especially after a hard reset. (still does this in some cooked roms, i've found, the system will be set to an alarm that doesnt exist whilst sense is set to one that does, but doesn't ring)
Now when i hard reset i go into the system - clocks and alarms and set everything from there the first time, and only then start using sense alarms, and so far it seems to clear any bugs before they occur.
