After ****ing up the button sequence after using Odin to install the rom, my phone is stuck at the "This phone is not running Samsung's official software'' and it just loops. Now it won't show the blue bar in Odin either, so I can't unbrick my device. Can someone help me?

Reason I'm looking for the firmware is to flash back to stock (I am rooted and unlocked bootloader) and do a clean root and unlock....Battery life ducks right now...

Maybe try sammobile again, but using a PC instead of a phone? I downloaded several older versions a few weeks ago using a PC, but on my phone the download link acts just as you described (logged in to the same account) using Chrome.
Could be something else though, but that's worth a try.
BTW If your bootloader is already unlocked* I think you could pull out only boot.img & system.img files and create a new Odin .tar.md5 flashable, leaving your custom recovery (& all of the boot firmware including aboot) untouched. Then (after flashing those two in Odin), wipe & root the stock ROM by flashing SuperSU from the custom recovery. No need to go through the hassle of re-rooting and re-unlocking.
(In some ways with the unlocked bootloader, Odin becomes a little bit like fastboot on an unlocked device.)
* and your boot firmware is not MI9/MJ7/MJE - they won't boot "4.4" kernels.
[Edit] forgot about boot.img - post corrected.
I appreciate the advise, thanks...I did try sammobile on PC and it does the same thing...and the 2nd part of your reply, I am noob, I would not know where to begin extracting files and what not...
Thanks though...

If you have an ad blocker... It won't download, turn off your ad blocker, reboot to clear DNS cache and then get it from sammobile.com

Hey guys, I just restarted my suit edge and was surprised when the Samsung logo popped up,it had the word custom underneath with the unlocked lock. I know when it's happened in the past to other samsung phones is when we flashed other kernels or roms. Any reason why would this happen on a stock phone?

Does it happen everytime? Maybe you somehow unlocked your bootloader. If it just happened once then it just might have been a fluke. Everytime then try to flash a custom recovery (like TWRP) with ODIN.

It's something else . Prolly an app or a website that u visited . It has been discussed here a few months back . Someone got this custom thing under the boot logo and he posted it on Reddit.

Want to sell the phone. What are the steps to unroot and go back to factory. I tried this before, and kept getting the "custom" info at boot

Is there a way to unroot the S7 Edge when stuck in a boot loop and recovery is also stuck in a boot loop?

I simply powered up into Download mode, then flashed (odin) the stock ROM - 4 files I believe. That fixed the bootloop problem.

I have tried everything from doing a factory reset to trying to put new firmware on with Odin. I tried Bliss and the phones stock firmware. I am at a complete loss with this and it is just becoming infuriating to deal with. Whenever I use Odin I cannot load anything onto the phone. I download the firmware and it always tells me I don't have binaries selected.
Any guidance on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
This is not Note Neo forum.
Are you flashing firmware that is not for your phone ??

Sorry about that. I didn't know. I have no idea what I'm doing with any of this. Only reason I haven't thrown this thing into the wall and lit it on fire is because it's my wifes phone.
