Hi all,
I have an Erisin android 9.0 headunit which sounds terrible via rca outputs, the headunit has bluetooth but it will not connect to my Zapco digital sound processor via Bluetooth like my phone does. Anyone ever successfully attempted this?

Hello everybody , I'm owner of Ownice C200 Chinese head unit and i hate about audio quality and Bluetooth. I was using Behringer UCA 202 Usb dac but few months ago it stopped to work. Dac working with other devices but with head unit it is not working. When i use USB audio player, I can hear sound via headphone but from stock car speaker , no sound. For this i bought line converter to connect directly RCA from USB dac, but then i learned it need amplifier to power speakers. ( if i am wrong , please correct me)
I search a lot of topics in XDA and i saw one message using two head unit in car but there is no more information. I want absolutely same things. I want to use Pioneer deh-prs80 ( i will hide it somewhere in car) and will continue to use Android head unit for navigation, watching movies, rear view camera purpose. Is it really possibly ? I don't want to install any amplifier to my car, i don't need loud music, i just need clear and crystal music. I have hertz esk 165.5l as speaker.
If it's possible how will be connection ? Car battery enough to make power for both head unit ? ( i will connect speaker wire to directly pioneer) , is it possible to connect android head unit to pioneer via aux or Bluetooth or what ? I wish when i use android head unit, sound will go to pioneer and this head unit amplifier to speaker quality sound.
I also wonder if it is possible can be sound quality difference playing directly from pioneer or through android head unit to pioneer ?
I hope this topic will help to people who suffer from audio quality expect other features in android head unit..
Nobody can help ?
Well I would connect it via Y Splitter and the Front RCA out on the HU would go to the AUX in the Pioneer deck and connect your bluetooth to the Pioneer HU instead of the Android. You would have to zero out the sound from the Android and adjust your EQ settings from the Pioneer to get the best quality needed.
I'm looking at an Infinity Kappa K5 amp and it says it has direct bluetooth connection capability, so I got to thinking. It seems that there is a consensus that the audio quality of all of the Android head units is poor. Does anyone know if you can setup the head unit to be the bluetooth source to the amp? Can anyone test this theory by using a bluetooth boombox? I'm really interested in an Android head unit but the poor audio is not an option. I know Bluetooth is terrible too, sometimes, but this was just an interesting thought.
Does anyone have an recommendations on an double din android based head unit that has a fully working bluetooth module? Something that can pair with and control an Alpine PXE-0850S amplifier. Does such a head unit exist?
Thanks
I would also like to know if such a product exist.
With new headunits including plenty of memory, storage, fast a75 cores and 4g -but high noise floor and only 2 slow usb ports+crippled BT is such as letdown :-(
I noticed the Atoto units have two bluetooth modules and support bluetooth tethering. Any chance those will pair with generic devices?
Well, I answered my own question by buying an Atoto S8 and trying it out. The second bluetooth module seems to be a normal fully working module and does pair with the Alpine amp and allows the amp settings to be configured using the Alpine app. However, since the amp also supports bluetooth streaming, whenever the head unit connects to the amp over bluetooth it routes audio output from music apps (but not the radio) via the bluetooth connection (instead of spdif), bypassing the head unit volume controls. So whenever I want to change the amp configuration I have to pair it with the head unit, run the Alpine app, make the changes, and then unpair the amp. Grrrr.....
Hi all, I use Chinese N600 Android 11 10.25" head unit for my Mercedes, NTG 4.5.
Aux is activated and all sound from unit play through AUX without problem.
There is Aux position setting on setup, I did set position 2 and 7 correctly.
When I use NTG mode, radio play or others, no problem but, when I return to unit,
I want Audio source change to AUX automatically.
Is there any way to archive this function? Thanks in advance!
Hello, I've got a Chinese headunit and recently setup headunit reloaded app on it for wireless connection. The wireless connects well but no audio comes out through car speakers automatically. If I navigate to the phone app on the headunit and select Bluetooth audio that's when the sound starts playing.
Would anyone have any suggestions how to make the Bluetooth audio start coming out of car speakers automatically?
Previously I was using Zlink for wired android auto and audio would start automatically.
