Guys help us about the camera. I am in the same exact situation. @BadWolfYe and your product_V3 doesnt fix the camera for me, VNS-L21.
And for the recovery - http://forum.xda-developers.com/hua...ecovery-twrp-3-0-2-android-nougat-03-t3511937 - use adb flash it.

You'll have to go the hard route. You'll find all the required files in the ROM section.
Download any Nougat.zip (329 worked for me, 336 did not). Unzip. You'll get the update.app.
Download the second file with all the missing apps. Do not unzip. Maybe rename to something shorter like data.zip.
Download Revolution Recovery for Nougat. Unzip. You get the recovery.img. RENAME to something like revolution.img.
Open update.app in Huawei Update Extracor. Extract recovery.img, boot.img and system.img to wherever your fastboot.exe is. It's practical to put it all in one directory so you don't have to type long paths.
Now, careful...
Go into Fastboot. If Vol- + Power doesn't work, let it boot into eRecovery, press Vol- and tap Reboot. There you are.
Open a command window in the dir with fastboot.exe and the .img files (right click, Open Command Window)
fastboot flash boot boot.img
.... OK
fastboot flash system system.img
.... sparse 1/5 or something, this takes a bit of time.
fastboot flash revolution.img
.... OK
Now DO NOT REBOOT into System. Hold Vol+ + Power while still in Fastboot. It'll boot into Revolution eventually. Tap Advanced, ADB Sideload. Swipe.
Back in your command window, type:
adb sideload second_file.zip
... working... this'll take a bit. There might be an error message like 'could not mount /data'. Doesn't matter at this point.
When done, type
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (this is the stock recovery you extracted from update.app)
... OK
Reboot to recovery from Revolution.
Do factory reset. Note: If you don't do this last step, there will be a bootloop.
Reboot. The system should now boot up normally. At least it did for me... good luck.

I did this too. Only way to fix it is to downgrade to MM (instructions are in the N install thread). I then unlocked the bootloader, booted to fastboot, flashed Meticulus recovery. Once you're here, the important thing is to flash the update.zip and appropriate .Zip file for your device. Took me a while to find it but Meticulus has a post in Spanish with all of them for each type of P9 lite - there's one for the VNS-L23 there. Flash the update.zip and then device zip (in that order) and reboot. It'll work.
This phone is harder to flash Roms than others I've had in the past... It's important to do things in the right order.
Here's the link I was referring to: http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1265029

First thing when you want to do something (TWRP, root, custom ROM etc.) with your phone is: UNLOCK BOOTLOADER!
Without unlocked bootloader is not hard to do, you not even try, because it is impossible...

You must have the unlock code.

You have to saved anywhere first time you have'it!
That is the first rule!
Once you debranded your phone that Device ID is change,
so even your phone boot ok and you obtain a Device ID is not the same
with the one saved in the Huawei databases...
So, procedure to obtain the bootloader unlock code is ended in error...

Sadly I tried flashing multiple system .img and TWRP .img with no luck. The phone ran out of battery and it won't even charge, it goes straight to a screen that says "Your Phone Has Been Unlocked and can not be trusted, etc" I'm completely at a loss.
Ok, your bootloader is unlocked and the black screen with red warning is normal.
Find a recovery for you actual buggy version (Nougat?).
Boot on bootloader and use ADB command:
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
And past the return here.

Good news
Have fun with your p9 lite!
Bye
Hello everyone.
I Have Huawei P10 Lite WAS-LX1A and I accidentally bricked my device.
I was using TWRP to install a rom, and I wipped my system but the rom couldn't be installed for some reason. So I thought my TWRP Version had a problem, so I tried with bootloader to istall a new TWRP.
In adb I pressed:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP_by_GreatSlon.img
Click to collapse
and then
fastboot flash recovery custom_boot_decryptdata_b130
Click to collapse
But now, it doesn't load TWRP at all when I press vulume up + power button. I am stuck with out TWRP and with out an OS.
And I can't enter bootloader to install a new TWRP. Is there anything I can do?
I do have a laptop and an SD Card and my Bootloader is unlocked. Phone Unlocked and FRP Unlock are red, so maybe there is a way to save my phone please? I need help please . Sorry if I am not explaining very good and if I don't write correctly, I'ts because I am very very sad . Please someone tell me there is a way to fix it. Maybe dload? But I cannot find any file that it fits.. Thanks in advance.
I found this youtu.be/pkWSDlrLmns and I intalled a new TWRP. But I still cannot find any ROM to install. Any help please?

you flashed twrp in recovery partition and after that, you flashed "custom_boot_decryptdata" also in recovery partition. so, twrp was overwritten. that's the reason why it doesn't work now. are you able to enter fastboot? (VOL- & power button)?
are you on emui5 or emui8?
if you can enter fastboot mode, flash twrp again.
Bricked P10 lite
My huawei p10 lite completely dead after mistakenly doing a wipeall from twrp. Now the screen doeant turn on , no logo, no vibrations, nothing. But the computer detects something(still no reaponse on phone) and when i typed fastboot devices in minimal adb it shows the list and the phone is listed in it. Please help.

Try to flash all partitions from a service rom.
I have the Same Problem. Only dark screen with fastboot connection.
(Sorry for the very late reply) I could enter fastboot using a pc, and then flashed a different twrp and costum rom.
Everything was okay. But, lately my rom started having network problems and I decided to flash an another rom..
But when I did, something wrong happened and now I am without twrp, without rom and with phone and frp locked.
My destiny is to brick my device and go to imposimple position, isn't it? I don't have my unlocked code so I cannot unlock my bootloader. I paid and tried dc unlocker to unlock my phone, but after plug-unplug it stopped being unlocked again and my money for dc unlocker gone for nothing and I am not willing to pay again for something like that. Any ideas to unlock my phone?
I sent an email and message to Huawei to see if they can give me the code, but idk if they will do. Any suggestions?
This post can be locked. This thread continues here. As for the Huawei, they respond that they don't give the unlock code anymore..
Hello guys, I have a problem. I updated my Mi A1 and now I am in bootloop. I can't use MiFlash because I have locked bootloader.
I have tried fastboot oem edl, adb sideload in recovery but it didnt help. Any solution?
bad luck !! Test point method is the only way ? i faced the same situation ... please don't go to the service centre , they will tell you that the motherboard of your device needs a change .. and ask for a big amount of money if your phone is out of warranty ..!! search for the test point method here .. follow the video , and then follow the steps to go back to stock oreo from pie .. that's the only way ??
Same problem happened with me
My internal storage gets full and mobile automatically got switched off and bootloop
I tried to flash my self with adb command fastboot oem unlock
And successfully unlocked the bootloader & flashing process started but it keep flashing for long time whole night
So i decided to go near shop and gave him he tried with EDL test point and then phone goes in black screen He gave up :crying:
Now I'm thinking to go mi service centre but i get to know their ans is to change motherboard

You messed up because from stock Pie onwards, Xiaomi has implemented ARB which will bootloop your phone if you downgrade your rom.

Hi! Does testpoint method works here?
I'll try with a home made EDL cable, if this does not work I'll have to drive to the office for tools and try the test point. I'll update, but if anyone knows if this or that works and see this post on time, let me know!
UPDATE:
- EDL cable didn't work.
- Test point method worked fine, I thought that opening this phone would be harder, search for dissasembly tutorials on youtube and for test point method, the brick got back to life and it's fully working!
I just installed TWRP onto my Samsung Galaxy S8. It was installed successfully, but when I try getting into the TWRP mode by pressing power+bixby+vol-up, the phone vibrates and displays a pink light at the top left before returning to a normal boot-up screen and my phone unlocks normally. When my phone is done booting up, I get a grey box saying:
"
[PDP]
back-up : fail
setup-wizard [FINISH]
"
I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I've gonked up the phone a couple of years ago. I had to send the phone to Samsung to get it fixed, I stayed away from rooting until now when I've gotten a new phone. What I'm asking here is, is this the cause? And how do I fix it so I can get into TWRP mode so I can complete my root?

How do I unlock my bootloader? Does it imply, having gone into the bootloader mode before flashing TWRP? If that is the case, no, I hadn't gone into the original recovery mode before flashing twrp, if not, what does it imply? Also, how do I fix?

You mean to tell me that in the process of finding and flashing TWRP for your device, you did not see anything telling you that you had to make sure the bootloader was unlocked before flashing it? If you didn't then you did a poor job of researching the process of flashing TWRP and rooting your device because it is usually mentioned in all guides for flashing TWRP.
No, I meant, did you check to make certain that your bootloader is unlocked before you flashed TWRP? I asked about bootloader because you can't flash anything custom if the bootloader is locked.
I don't know if your bootloader is locked or not. Just because I'm asking, does not mean that was locked.
If it is locked, you have to unlock it and then flash TWRP, if it is already unlocked, you do not have to unlock it.
Unlocking bootloader on Samsung usually involves enabling the OEM unlock setting in the device's settings. Enabling this setting does not necessarily mean that your bootloader is unlocked, you also need to boot into download mode and check the RMM or KG status to see if it says "prenormal", "checking" or "unlock". If it says "prenormal" it is locked and you can't flash TWRP.

I did turn on the OEM unlock before flashing. Did not see the RMM or KG status though. The flash was successful though. It just doesn't want to open TWRP as it cancels and shows me a pink light right as it's about to open TWRP.

The information on the S8 are really poor. I used to root a lot of phones until a few years ago. Finding a manual for the S8 (Rom install, first TWRP,...) Seems to be impossible. I just find many contradicting information.
One manual sais there is nothing to unlock. I shall just use Odin to falsch the rom. Done. Other manuals go by TWRP as I know it. And so on.
