A quick Google search says it can be further expanded up to 256GB.

I found that out, but some devices only mention what their official capacity are. Thanks for the reply though.

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy Core 2 and I want to buy a P8 Lite. But I've read that it only supports 32GB microSD cards. Is that true?
My actual Core 2 supports 64GB of microSD, and I have one 64GB microSD card. Will this phone support it by default? In exFAT?
I've read also in other sites it supports 128GB of microSD, so I'm not sure what it the actual maximum capacity.
I have the ALE-L04 version of the phone with a Sony 128GB MicroSD card and it works fine.
Then why they say it only supports max 32gb?
If you google "P8 Lite 32gb microsd" you'll find plenty of pages with that information.
i'm using a 64GB card.
fat32, i don't know if exfat is supported.
Well, then is there may be a model of P8 Lite that can only support up to 32GB of microSD? Or not likely?

Can anybody test if the P8 lite playbacks 1080p Blurays rips?
Like the regular 5GB bluray movie.
What about a Full bluray 40GB rip? To test that one you must use a microSD.
Use playera like VKC or MX with hardware acceleration+ and that.

I tried it with an old sim and old SD card, checked they were recognised beforehand but only sim one was found the SD and 2nd Sim seem not to be found
I think the kernel read the SD and just shut off the second antenna.
(I'm not sure but yea.)
Have fun modding!

MultiROM is already compiled for Redmi 2 16 GB version,Checked it?
BTW why you have posted same question twice

if you happy with experimenting try this, or search for the deleted ones or you can port/build for our device

Ok I have searched and read and read some more.. I realize there no root and I have found some updates to my unit.. But what I can't find is how to update the OS since I do not have a SD Card slot. My unit does have 3 usb ports. Is one of them for updating the OS and MCU?
