[Q] about CM 6.1 and Wifi calling

Sorry for making a thread about CM 6.1 I read threw about 12 pages in the main CM 6.1 thread and just don't have time to read all 400+ comments lol...
I just installed sense and I am getting use to it and trying it out for awhile. I want to install CM6 as well because of all the hype... I think I remember reading that Wifi Calling does not work on CM?... was there a fix for that? I can't live without wifi calling because of where I work, yet would like to try CM.
I also heard that swipe texting doesn't work as well but you can back it up or something and install it once CM is installed... or something like that... anyways the wifi is my main concern.
So... is i guess my question is... is wifi calling working on Cm yet? will a fix come out for it and I should wait?

Dunno about 6.0 but it seems to work with 6.1

Works but it stutters... so basically unsuable to me. I'm sure in. His next update it will be adressed.

mayb your phone is loosing memory, while using the wifi calling software.b/c i have cm 6 install and my wifi calling is good and i used it all day since i dont get service at work this is the best thing ever happen to tmobile
try to free some memory . mines is running at about 220 mb free

I can't post to dev team thread, but still want problem to be known:
I'm very pleased so far with 'cm_buzz_full-210.zip'. Just noticed one regression: if connected with Ford Radio via Bluetooth, that build provides only a 'last call back' feature, whereas CM 7.0.3 provided 'address book list', 'missed call list', 'emitted call list', 'call log list'

Do you mind testing again with nightly 199? There was some bluetooth changes after that, so it would provide some indication if that's what causing it.

Hi, the last few CM7 Nightlys (205, 209 and now 210) have Car Home popping up every time I plug in the charger. I tried d/l "Disable Car Home" from the Market but it's nor really working - any tips on how to disable Car Home?

don't know how but problem seems to have disappeared.
maybe it was the power off+battery pull...

bluetooth does not work, GPS and WIFI works no problem
Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10 if there's any way to debug why BT dont turn on

im on CM #209..seem all working fine with bluetooth WIFI and GPS ...
radio i have is 3.35.20.10

It seems, that the "oldest" nightly is 'cm_buzz_full-203.zip' (according to http://mirrorbrain.cyanogenmod.com/cm/nightly/buzz/). Any idea, where else I could get 199?

There's nothing wrong with the market you Muppet, how can it work perfectly for some and not for others?........... hmmmm let me think is it your crappy internet connection or the fact your phone is setup wrong?
Also in one thread you say cm is the best and in another its s;*+#.

well its strange but .. i hope somebody else is having problem with theme chooser .. as themes i am downloading from market are not working for me on Nightlies ... they don't show up in the theme chooser list (Just 3 default themes)... i don't remember 177 .. but its definitely not working on 205 and 210 .. they did work on stable....

Think its time to up the limit!

Also everything is working perfectly with the rom, no problems with theme chooser, market as it is being posted above..
so please people flash the ROM correctly...

There is nothing to fix except your stupidity, flash Google apps if you want the market then learn what you're doing to your phone before you actually do it.
Oh yeah, I've switched back to my 199 backup while I wait for my new SD card to be delivered and everything seems fine to me.

My Bluetooth, Market, etc. work fine with #210,
but I have a new problem - whenever a call comes through and I answer, it goes straight to speaker...
I've seen elsewhere that the GoSMS app might be the cause but I've never had it installed, and people say battery pulls, restarts and /or factory resets didn'r help.
any ideas?

After a conference on my DHD the I can't hear the person calling me. Is this a radio problem? I'm using MIUI ROM.

I had this problem to, with me it needed go in for repair and after I got it back it worked again.

This is a known issue with MIUI, check the MIUI site for a fix

I like this rom alot. Very attractive.
I am ready for the wifi and service to be fixed ! As well as the other bugs so it can be used as a daily driver..Thanks and keep up the great work !

Thanks, I pretty sure I got the RIL working now, and @Unjustifed Dev has got the camera working for us. I'm building now, hope to have another build by the end of the day...
EDIT: New build posted:
Made progress on the RIL. It may be fixed but need someone to test. If it still is not working then do:

adb pull /sdcard/ril_log.txt
Then post the ril_log.txt file here.

@Meticulus I got audio working I will find some time tomorrow to send update to patch script. :good: it's not complete some more patches need backported but music is playing. Mic is still broken.

Okay this rom os amazing so far. This rom only has one real big prob to me calling there is no audio during calling to and from someone. I dont know if someone has a fix for this but just wanted to let you know

knowing xiaomi devs, the "patch" (what a paradox) if we can even call it a patch will most likely bring even more bugs on this wreck of a software,
it really a shame for such good piece of hardware

I bet the settings notification bug will not fixed at this update

In one forum in mi a2 section, some people voted that they received February patch when someone asked. Not really sure if they voted although they use other mobile phone or what, but it might be that in next 24h could be added or something in other regions too?

Did you turn off the voice settings in the Google app? Also something that I found out that works if you have the bug where you can't hear anyone and have to toggle the speaker, put you sim card in slot 2.

Do you even understand English mate? I never said it is released 100%. I said people VOTED and said yes and I also said that maybe they voted for "yes" because they use other phone but voted in MI A2 section.
Mainly they are in region of india, I think.

Almost every other custom ROM is better than stock, in every way. So I'm using Havoc now, waaay better than official.
At least the developer community works on crashing bugs every day, and for free. Xiaomi meanwhile for every update brings more damage than good, always.
