Hi everyone.
I know the Huawei website to unlock phones for free is gone so is there a way to unlock it without paying. I have a WAS-LX2 EMUI 8.0.0 C185. I can't flash any rom.
I've unlocked mine with DC unlocker. I had to revert first to EMUI 5. I used HiSuite to do that. Now I'm running AOSP 10! Works like a charm.

Hello.. i need help in rooting my nova 2i device. I got to the oem unlocking and fail to fastboot flash recovery. When i fastboot device info it say my fb:locked. Anyone have any idea how to solve the problem? I quiy a noob at this stuff so do mind show me step by step to solve the problem..
You did not unlock your bootloader.
No, OEM UNLOCK set to ON in developer options does not mean it's unlocked. It will only allow you to unlock it later on. Huawei bootloader unlock is like a Motorola or a HTC device: it's code based.
The command will be "fastboot oem unlock <code>"
You can get that code either from Huawei (your Huawei id must be at least 2 weeks old on the device, not a susbidized phone and it will void your warranty) or from a 3rd party. I used dc-unlocker, it costed me $5 and I was done in 5 minutes. Since I did not submit my IMEI to Huawei, I can relock my bootloader and the warranty is valid again.
After that, flash twrp and magisk.

Guys please can anyone tell me how to unlock nova 2i RNE L22 bootloader by paid method and to root?
You go search for huawei bootloader unlock code in playstore. Download app and just follow the instructions..
Okay have an old Huawei phone trying to root it to see if I can install Rom on it.
Tried Kingroot no joy
The phone is build no SCL-L01C432B170 emui version 3.1 baseband 11306101 android 5.1.1
Is there any way of rooting / unlock Bootloader so I can add rom to it
Cheers
You can get your bootloader code with "DC Unlocker"
It costs around 4€ to get the key. There is no other options to unlock it.
I tried it myself and it worked for me using ATU-L21
Cheers
Thanks managed to get Bootloader unlocked but I've a new issue so another thread

Hello,
you need the 'bootloader code' that can be read with a paid service.
DC-UNLOCKER for PCs or DC Huawei Bootloader Codes app you find on the store
will help you do the work.
Install the drivers for your device/hisuite on your PC.
Then install adb&fastboot on your PC and use it to unlock.
Backup everything you need because unlock will factory reset your device...
Remove all security (fingerprints, etc..), enable oem-unlock and usb-debugging in developer options,
then proceed with the unlock. (these steps are essential to prevent bricks)
Both the website and the app contains detailed guides.
Good luck dude.
P.S.: Yes P9 lite mini is supported...
Cheers
To unlock you can use dc unlocker, as for roms, well SLA dosen't have any custom roms not even lineage however i am working on a EMUI based ROM which should be here soon.
Well that didnt boot, however lineageos 14.1 is ready but untested also theres a working twrp built for p9 lite mini, if tou want updates then join telegram group for p9 lite mini

Hello everyone, I have a P9 Lite which was issued from Vodafone Europe (originally VNS-L21C02B128), and I'd like to update it to Android 7.
Since none of the stock ROMs I tried would pass the verification when updating via the Project Menu, I found and flashed a newer Android 6 which works fine apparently - build number is currently VNS-L21C900B170.
Trouble is all of the newer ROMs are still not working. During the verification phase, it says they are not compatible with the phone.
Any ideas what is the simplest safest way to get to Android 7 ? Thanks for the help.

- Unlock the bootloader
- on android 6 rebrand to C432 global
- in TWRP install fullOTA-MF-PV VNS-L21C432B370
- then you can upgrade to a higher version by installing a Service ROM via dload method (it will lock your BL again).
The problem is probably with your current build number - the C900 is fake firmware, incomplete or incompatible. I'm afraid you won't be able to unlock the bootloader or rebrand the phone with this build.
Hello Alf, I did try VNS-L21C02B346 but it didn't work, both with the original and the newer ROM. I also tried the "SERVICE Full Repair VNS-L21 C432B381" from here, also with no luck.
The current B170 ROM was labeled as "VNS-L21C432B170" on the site I got it from, but now it shows as C900. This one updated with no problems via the Project Menu upgrade command, the only one to work so far...
I will see later about unlocking the bootloader thanks.

You can't install C432 on C02 and vice versa without changing oeminfo, that's why you now have a C900 region and failed verification.
Thanks but I don't know hot to change oeminfo. Can I use SRK Tool ?
Also is there a free way to unlock the bootloader ? Is it this one ?
Does the phone have to be dissasembled, or is there a software method as well ?
Is dc-unlocker free for phones with android 6 and 7 ?
