Edit MIUI Data Usage Display - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

I would like to edit the kind of information that is displayed on notification status bar on MIUI11, e.g. show data usage by week, not by month, but idk where to start. Do I need to edit the ROM? Any information could help me!

I don't think that's possible. I've tried many miui custom ROMs and didn't find any setting for it.

Notification toggle on status bar ?????

Hi there
How can I add notification shortcuts ( wifi, bluetooth,.....etc )( like that of CM7 ) to status bar on official froyo rom ?

Thanks in advance
one easy way to do it is to write an app that has persistant notifications that link to those settings. so you will always have a "button" in your notification tray
http://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/NotificationManager.html
Notifications can take different forms:
A persistent icon that goes in the status bar and is accessible through the launcher, (when the user selects it, a designated Intent can be launched)

Looks good, but it's nice to write this stuff your self. Not too hard, good app to learn from.

@killersnowman
What I was talking abt is A persistent icon on status bar.
I thought This could be easy but I was wrong, it's difficult.
If u can simplify the steps, I'll try to do it.
@j4velin
Regarding NT.apk, It's very good app But i wish it has direct access from status bar ( I mean when pressing for ex. WIFI, it opens another screen to activate WIFI )
actually it's not a problem, Just wishing
Thank U very much
I really appreciate your help
You mean like clicking the batter icon or the clock in the status bar and going to those corrosponding settings? There is no method for achieving this. If you try that now you will see that the notification tray starts to slide down.
From something awesome
I mean like the pic.
Maybe someone else knows but im pretty sure that cant be changed or added without modifying or changing the current rom. Or a home screen replacement (never used one so im not sure)..
From something awesome
OK
Thank u so much
wish you best of luck

well you need to modify the status bar appearance. if you are familiar with that, you may follow this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1422116
else you may also request your rom creator to do it for you. this is a bug
Can I know which Rom do you use?
Generally in the system settings there must be some kind of UI tweak, try enabling the clock visibility from there.
If it still wont work then it must be a bug.

I need Network Speed Indicator

Hi everybody, anybody know some app to Monitored the network? I am using the "Internet Speed Metter Lite", but I really hate this app! This app show a notification on the status bar, but I just wanna the Indication of speed network on top of status bar!!!
P.S. It should have been implemented in CM12!
I have a S4 with CM13 and xposed!!
Somebody can help me?
Its my first thread in this site and sorry, I don't speak english!
Thanks for now!
What's wrong with indication in this app? In android all 'non system' application must use notification to show anything on status bar. Right side this bar is not allowed for app. But, if you don't like this app, maybe AeroConn will be better for you? AeroConn shows speed on status bar, and more information (history, amount etc.) in normal screen.
Ps. I recommended AeroConn because it is my own app But people says that is nice and good looking.

Strange icon on notification bar

Hey guys there's been a strange icon in my notification bar that's bugging me a lot I don't know what it is can someone identify what it is?
Is right next to the network name.
It's a circle and a plus sign inside it
Screenshot?
A screenshot will be good.
Although, I suspect it's RCS?
Is Wi-Fi calling enabled? My Wi-Fi icon added a circle with a plus when I enabled it.
It's the data saver indicator. It can be disabled in the mobile data menu in settings.

No it is not a screenshot sign and I can't screenshot it to show you since I'm a new member I can't have links
I'm going to Samsung to see what it is

I see you have edited your original post.
Someone else answered your question. It is the Data Saver feature.

Strange Icon / Circular Bar with plus sign
It is a Data Saver Icon
You can disable/enable it by going to setting > connection > data usage > data saver and click the botton...
This will enable or disable to save data or to restrict data on background of those apps that use data while they are not in use... thanks hope it will help you

Stock OOS - Looking for a way to put the battery percent in the battery icon

Without using any app.
Is there a native way to accomplish this mod, seem to remember this being fairly common in the days before xposed etc. While I have gotten the percent to show, it appears next to the batt icon.
I am not looking for apps or ways of accomplishing this via things from the play store, so please do not suggest them.
EDIT: to be clear i am not looking for the current way OOS places the percent in the statusbar. I am looking for a way to have the percent WITHIN the battery icon.
I have figured it out using Minit as suggested in this thread, but looking for a cleaner way since Minit is not as nice as the stock icons + only skins after boot completes.
Only way i know of in OOS is with 3minit battery mod
Settings > Status Bar > "Show Battery Percentage"?

Was also looking for it, but there is no stock option that would achieve that (I am aware of).

He wants to have the battery percentage inside the battery icon. Your solution just puts it next to the icon.

That is correct, I have percent enabled right now, but its such a waste of real estate in the statusbar.

I will look into 3minit, have you been successful in getting this running on your OP5?
Wow, that was pretty easy... Got 3minit running well. Some small padding issues in the statusbar... anyone know what may be causing. It appears the stock OOS battery icons didnt hide/change to 0.0dip, I hid them with the stock functionality.
Issue is the 3minit battery icon is a little too close to the clock....
thoughts?
Here is s a screenshot of how it currently looks, would like some advice how to fix that slight padding issue next to the clock

I have an OP3 but sucessfull used it, yes. Its working on all devices afaik. You just need to do some editing in your OPSystemUI.apk. everything else is explained in the main 3minit thread. If you need help editing the xml file the correct way, you can pm me, i still have example xml from OP3, should be the same as OP5.
Edit: nevermind, you already got it working. The icon being too close to the clock is something i also noticed. You cant change that, except trying out other icons.
You can just switch off the battery icon and display text only, I never understood the icon anyway, not accurate at all.
