Correct bootloader for 9.0 ROMs - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I've finally decided to install LineageOS on my phone after three years of using stock but when I install 16 it gets stuck on a repeating bootloop when I turn it on where as 15.1 boots correctly. I'll assume this means my bootloader is out of date even though my stock image was fully upto date before I attempted this so to avoid any headaches of myself reading some misinfomation could someone tell me if first I'm correct in thibking this is a bootloader issue and second what I need to flash to get past this problem?

Newer version of stock and a clean install.

I cannot update the software after recovering from softbrick

I originally had OOS3.0.2, and I tried to get Beanstalk rom installed. Beanstalk didn't load correctly, and I softbricked my phone. I managed to go through the recovery of downloading the qualcomm drivers and that weird updating program and then sideload an older version of OOS (2.2). I went to this link and did method 1 https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...ck-guide-for-a-hard-bricked-oneplus-2.347607/. But when I get things fixed up, I can't seem to update to CM13, or even to do a normal update with root, without root, with twrp, without twrp. Nothing. Strangely enough, no matter what I've been doing, the data I had from the very original pre-screw-up time is still all there. Every time I try an update it hangs on the 1+ screen and stays there. How can I get past this? I can't seem to upgrade, and I'm stuck in lollipop.
Well I was still able to get into my phone and do a stock recovery from the Update and Restore option from the phones settings menu, so that fixed it.

7.0 Update Crashed my Device. Custom Roms won't take. Stock Rom crashes, too

I received an update push from Motorolla that installed Nougat. After that, my phone would crash every 3-10 minutes. I did all the troubleshooting I could find online. I contacted support and they wanted me to spend $150 to get it "refurbished." Of course, it sure seems like a software problem, so that wouldn't help me anyways...
I turned to custom. After rooting, installing SuperSU and TWRP, I couldn't get several versions of AICP or Lineage to ever boot (stuck on loading screens). I also tried all the advice from this thread.
I went back and installed the stock Rom using f2fs , and the phone would get to the "hello moto" part of the boot up, then crash and reboot. I tried again using EXT4, and it worked, but just like before I ever begun, my phone was crashing every 3-10 minutes. However, the first crash wasn't until after I made a phone call, and my phone had been crash free for about 20 minutes before that call.
I'm a I.T. guy, but I'm not a "phone" guy. But it seems to me that there must be some other software that was modified during the update that is causing the problems that isn't part of ROMs. Something in the Kernal, or a driver folder or something?
Also, is there a way to get crash reports? So maybe if I at least go back to the default ROM and wait for it to crash, I have some info to work with?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Flash full stock 6.0x for your model/region.
Important:
Without bootloader, gpt. Don't try locking BL.
Links you can find in my signature.
Try normal boot and after success any custom.
You cannot allow any ota update after it.
Some customs are only for Nougat modem/radio - don't flash it. @Kaivian
Ok, I got most of that, except I don't know what gpt refers to and am not getting any hits on search.
My signature - flashing stock - without bootloader & gpt.
So, I installed a 6.0 stock ROM and got tons of errors. I tried a 2nd time, still got tons of errors. Needless to say, stock 6.0 didn't boot. I decided, "The heck with it" and tried installing Lineage 7.1 again... and it worked! It finally booted up entirely. However, now I get a "Sim card missing" notification. Can I just reinstall part of something... like the modem? so I can keep this "working" lineage boot? Or am I starting over yet again?

This caused it to not boot.
I went back to 6.0 and turned off auto-updates. I'll try again sometime when I have time. I did like the custom rom a lot, just couldn't use it as a phone xD

Unable to reload and lock

Hello,
I've done quite a bit of reading here before posting this. I found bits and pieces of information that I tried to put together, but the outcome is not what I want, so maybe someone here knowledgeable could help me.
Device = Moto G5+
I've unlocked the bootloader, loaded twrp over the recovery partition, rooted the phone, performed a twrp backup prior to installing a custom rom. Then I tried another rom and another. They all have bugs or things to correct, so I decided to go back on my original load by recovering the «start» partiton from my twrp backup. That went well enough. However, since I restored the backup, I get errors and applications (like Settings !) crashing. There is obviously some sand in the gears somewhere. I then tried to reload the phone with POTTER_RETAIL_7.0_NPNS25.137-93-4_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip using Minimal ADB & Fastboot, but that fails. The first 2-3 steps work, then up on the 4th or 5th, I get an error message stating that flashing is unallowed (these are not the exact words, but close enough. I can provide exact words upon demand). From what I read, it seems like I cannot use the NPNS25.137-93-4 load on my phone because my phone shows version NPNS25.137-93-8 which is newer than NPNS25.137-93-4. From there, I am lost. Must I wait until I can get POTTER_RETAIL_7.0_NPNS25.137-93-8_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip or is there a way around that.
My ultimate goal is to reload my phone with a 100 % working software, relock the bootloader and wait for slow Moto to release Oreo over OTA.
Note : My twrp backup is version NPNS25.137-93-4, but an update came in right after I restored from the backup, but upon instaling, the update concluded with a failure status.

Nexus 10 stuck in boot animation even after wipe/sideload

I dug out my old Nexus 10 (mantaray/manta) to mess with it and firstly it booted up fine and I updated Android to 5.1.1 (system update). All was well. I was going to flash Pie onto it, so I booted to the bootloader and connected it and unlocked it via fastboot oem unlock. Ever since I did that it will not get passed the boot (colorful balls) screen. I can get back into the bootloader. Next I cleared the cache and then also did a factory reset, same issue. So I flashed the official 5.1.1 (LMY49J) image, and still have the same issue!
No clue how to get to some state where I can boot this thing. My end goal is to have Android Pie / vanilla on it. What should I do?
Edit: I think what I did was I flashed an update rather than the full OTA. I can't find it, so maybe someone can point me to it?

Mine does it aswell, but after like 20 min it boots up. I flash mine with the "Nexus Rool Toolkit" with the option "Flash Stock + Unroot", in your case i wull put the radio button on "Softbrick/Bootloop". Then follow the steps on the screen and then when it reboots the programm will tell you that you need to wait like 20 min. And then it should be up and running again

SM-P580 blackscreen problem

So tl;dr version - i was using my tablet, saw an update to magisk, installed it, now it boots to black screen while running sambones rom
[SM-P580] [BQK1] SaMBoNeS
TWRP 3.2.3.0 --> 3.3.1.0
longer story:
i was trying to get a game to run, it wasnt...and realized it has been a while for a restart, so i checked to see if anything needs to be updated and saw magisk needed an update. i didnt note what version it was before but it was a version or two earlier than what it was trying to install.
rebooted to blackscreen no samsung logo
have tried restarting a dozen times, booted to TWRP, tried to force normal system boot through the UI, nothing.
I tried installing a new kernal [SiriKernel], it made it to the samsung logo, waited 15 - 20 minutes and it never made it past. restored a backup using TWRP
updated TWRP to 3.3.1.0, still no luck.
i had this problem a long time ago, and cannot figure out how i fixed it....it may have fixed itself but it isnt this time. any advice would be appreciated. I am trying to avoid wiping and starting again if at all possible because the problem seems familiar. also trying to stick to a rom for use with adaptive storage. if i do have to wipe if that can be done on a newer stock OS that's fine as well but last time i messed with this tablet it wasnt
