Honor 8 Review

DetroitBORG did a fairly decent review on this phone, not a bad phone at all.

everything is fine with this device except emui.
there is lot of added features bt it resembles more of ios than android

huawei has fixed emui and made it much nicer here are some photos

it may not be stock android but at least it isn't a shameless apple ripoff. EMUI 5 comes out sometime in October or November since the honor 8 is new it should get the update almost immediately

ya..its the emui 5 beta for huawei p9 right!!!
still so sign of stock android.
bt the recent app switcher,notification drawer are now more cleaner.

The device is superb for me, bit the UI is the only downside, a custom ROM should fix it

Here's a shot I took in Cologne of the cathedral. I think it really shows the incredible contrast levels that are possible with the Honor 8.

very rich. too rich.. could be toned down a bit.. look more raw and more natural.. the images looks like a stereo type of beautifying plus make p at time.. can be adjjusted in edit. but picture to picture. cuold change.

So far so good, I am impress with it output, it probably not the best but it is very great output for rear camera. As for the selfie wise it is very well done, absolutely stunning.

i agree! It's disappointing!
Too much saturation, too much light caught in the scene and a few seconds later too less light.
In low light situation also bad results.
I can't believe that, i saw many hands on but pictures was always good.
Could be a problem of EU's ROM?
I hope they'll fix it with an update.

Have been using this for almost 9months now and, camera quality is aweful when using Snapchat and WhatsApp. I've had a OnePlus 5T, and still use a blackberry keytwo as my 2nd phone, and they are much much better! Only good thing about this phone is the aesthetic appeal, mainly due to the screen ratio.

I am planning to buy op7 is that a good upgrade from poco f1 or should i walt

it's a good upgrade due to OIS and build quality and I got the 256MB/8GB version for €428 but I think now I'd rather pick a 7 pro or 7t, theres still more cam detail. indeed the poco f1 can do great photos too but it's a safe bet to take excellent shots with an OP7.

My Device is now running on android 10
The stock oneplus camera app is super choppy in the 240fps slow Mo mode and there is terrible frame skipping.
What should i do to fix this.
It's utterly unusable now.

Been on many phones, ever since my Pixel 2XL no phone just blew me away, honestly with OP7 you don't even need a GCam I love how a the pictures from its stock Cam app are

Yes. apparently it was optimized to maximize energy savings. I talked about this predstoviteli xiiaomi (about the choice of processor). and modem module malnourished. this poor communication

At the minimum brightness level, the brightness really gets a lot low. I can't use the device at that low brightness, so I never use it at that level. If I have to use it in low brightness, I use it at 10/100.
