Hi, I'm planning to upgrade my s10+ to android 10 (One Ui beta) came from android pie latest. I'm not eligible to register the One UI beta program as of now and there is no certain notification to register One UI Beta from Samsung members app. My question is if I try to get and install the One UI beta will I get the next beta update from OTA though I'm not an eligible beta tester? Thanks in advance.

Short answer shorter: a leaked EMUI 5.0 schedule from Huawei claims the M3 edition of Android 7.0 (not 7.1) and EMUI 5.0 (with rumored much lower EMUI annoyance quotient (EMUIAQ)) is going into beta, and this may have already been released as of this past Wednesday the 18th. Release version is scheduled to go final in April and public in May. No word on if this is correct, current and not delayed, or even real. If you can read Chinese you may be able to glean a bit more info from the image.
Mate 8 users update to EMUI 5.0 over here.
Bonus cookie points if you know sekrit publik Huawei FTP dumps to check. Post type set to Q&A so any ROMs can get put up top.
You may want to see these two official thread on Chinese Huawei forum:
Here you may see some dates when some stagis of distributing EMUI 5.0 will come
And here you may try to become a beta tester

Forme it shows a chinese message which says "Site closed ..."
Do participants have to sign a NDA or why is there zero communication about the beta in forums?

That's actually a good question. I couldn't find any infos either...
I hope open beta comes soon, the 6.0 build is slow as hell.
I saw an update today, changing the build number from B002 to B003, but no other version info or specifics listed. I'll update tonight and see what it is.
Has anyone had success signing up for the Beta program & actually received outreach of any kind?
Also, has anyone from the US gotten signed up?
Thanks.
@iihito702 was able to update to 5.0 in thks thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m3/help/help-please-emui-5-0-mediapad-m3-t3554620

Wondering when Nougat EM5 comes to this device. Wish there were more hype and development on it. Love the device/hardware, hate the lack of evolution and EMUI 4.

I'm on BTV-DL09-C100-B302 (a very advanced EU test version I guess) and it is very stable.
If you can find an android 6 EMUI 4.1 full stock rom for your region (equivalent to BTV-DL09-C100-B009 for Europe), you can always, while waiting for the official release, update to a very advanced test/unofficial version if you find one for your region also.
BTV-DL09-C100-B302 has been very stable so far and it offers a nice look and feel and experience. I do love EMUI and the v5.0. It's a nice mix between IOS / android.
I don't think the official release will be any different and better than BTV-DL09-C100-B302. Security and bug fixes probably but very fine as it is.
Better battery life so far, wifi, bluetooth and LTE and... fingerprint sensor are perfectly stable. Compared to B006, better cellphone signal strength and it's stable (or my cell provider has improved the coverage in my area which is also possible also).
Like you, I would love to get a full official Nougat EMUI 5.0 rom though.
mid May and NO update?

Thank you!
Is that an upgrade for the BTV-W09, such an EMUI 5 or 5.1?
How do I get the upgrade?
I am on this B302 beta now. Anybody know why fingerprint scanning always request my PIN code every few hours? This is nerveracking...

I unlock my S6 running Nougat with fingerprint and I noticed that on MarshMallow it did not require the PIN as much as it does on Nougat. I would say that Nougat has tighter restrictions regarding fingerprint unlock. I only use the fingerprint to navigate, partly because of this behaviour.
This is a copy and paste from Here
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-8-0-oreo-google-released/
Android 8.0 Oreo is being pushed to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for everyone to access today. The update builds for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixels has entered into carrier testing, and Google expects the phased roll out to begin soon alongside that of the Pixel C and Nexus Player. Google is also working closely with OEM partners like Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp and Sony to ensure that new devices are either launched with Android 8.0 Oreo or are upgraded to the latest sweet. Further, devices in the Android Beta Program will also receive this final version.
So this means its time for new roms to pop up all across the board, for many devices.
We all have been waiting so patiently.

Should be final since the reveal already happened. Overheard they started rolling out releases already. Not beta.

Thank you Huskied. I did the update by enrolling the beta programme, I got the final release.
And yeah, this is something like a force update, if the OTA didn't hit the device.
Hi, Is anyone here currently using the latest firmware which is the beta 9.0 emui?
I have question if u does,
Do you experience any battery drained?? I search on google about android pie battery drained. Its seem all pie beta experienced that.
If u wondering how am i getting that pie firmware, I joined a project for Beta Tester EMUI 9.
I have a question.. How could you download the update.. I've joined the beta program and the status of my application is "joined" but there is no update came to me, do you know how can i receive the update?
no. for me, battery is normal. had occasional bluetooth connection but restart bt headset works.

for me, it's very nice! If the updates pops up on you, go ahead! I did not regret!
Honor Started their EMUI 9 based on Android Pie 'a beta testing. They recruited 500 users for it. But now all they are doing is madness.
First they released a faulty version of beta which they send to Beta and no beta tester which make their devices to stick in eRecovery. They fixed that problem, devices were recovered. But now its even more of a different story.
They are providing beta update randomly to users. Beta tester and non beta testers are getting pie beta while in a different pace they also releasing a Feb security patch.
Now the problem is, when a non beta tester(a general user) gets the beta update they can't report any bug, they are stuck. And those who signed up, if they update the security patch they are getting kicked out from beta program. It has been such a mess.
Please XDA, you can reach to Huawei/Honor when we cannot. Please take this problems public, only maybe then they will provide these things correctly.
For a reference: https://club.hihonor.com/in/topic/361221/detail.htm
i also got kicked out from the project after updating my security patch. I was so much excited for the project but now m dissapointed badly
Anyone got MIUI 12 OTA i can upgrade my Global Stable MIUI 11.0.6? all packages i downloaded so far cannot be verified. I am not a Beta tester.
Thank you
it's postponed

Kinda tired of all these Xiaomi games with Beta, Chinese, Global and changing schedules all the time. Got Galaxy Flip Z today
cool story - OTA would be available sooner or later - whats the difference?
Better postponed than replicate Microsoft's update waves of failure
