Basicly i found this result in a Stress CPU app, Sony Disable 2 High-Performance cores, is there any way to enable them ?

You're using android 7.0? If yes, update your phone to 7.1.1... I got this problem when i was downgrading from oreo to nougat..Just update your phone to 7.1.1 and you will see the another 2 cores will be enabled back

Will Android 7.0 be available for yotaphone2?

Why does this guy have it?
Any solution we can flash nougat?
That guy doesn't have Android Nougat, it is fake. If you look at his firmware version it says that MM is installed. The modifications are done with xposed or other stuff. The android version written in "About Phone" can be changed anytime to anything manually, it's just matter of editing a text file in build.prop. The notification panel and the quick toggles are the same as those obtained using a particular xposed module which "N-tifies" those settings.
Regarding the fact if we will ever have it, who knows. At the moment Qualcomm hasn't released drivers for Snapdragon 801 to work with Nougat. So only back-porting might be possible. When YotaPhone 3 will be released (with Android N, 99% sure), maybe someone will manage to port its ROM to YotaPhone 2.
guys, I know that soon it will be possible to auto-update by WiFi to Android 6 - may be in a month...

I upgraded to Nougat on my CAN-L01 variant and the only problem I have faced is the brightness changing in some apps even with the auto feature turned off but this seems to be a problem on other Huawei devices as well. The phone itself on Nougat is great! It's fast and opens apps flawlessy and I couldn't be happier, the Ram manager could do with a improvement but aside from this I'm 100% satisfied.
Hi...
Then, you do not have a 100%fully working firmware as mentioned in the first post...mine too is working well but...
Cheers ?

It's working fine and as I said the brightness problem has been on other Huawei devices for a while now and I had it on Marshmallow as well. The builds of Nougat from the firmware finder are not (as of yet anyway) the final builds official released from Huawei and are beta releases as far as I'm aware.
So,your brivhtnes problem ,is the phone itself ? Like maybe a bad sensor in your device ?

I'm not sure, all I know is there are other Huawei devices which have had the same problem whilst on Marshmallow and Nougat builds.

Hummm...for the time ive been on MM,i dont remember having any problems with brightness...in fact, with the whole MMfirmware
I have l01c432b340 and have this problem too. When i have my old version b140 that version works perfect.
Wich problem are you talking about ? ... Brightnes or theme manager ?
MLA - L03 (nova plus canada) no problems at all, rotating the screen when watching a video can be a bit slow sometimes but that's it. Every app 100% working here
Version: C654B300

I've got the first official Android O beta. Screenshot and Q&A.

We now have our hands on, and a method to install the official Android O beta going out to chosen beta testers. It can be installed on any MHA-L29C432 device, or any device rebranded to MHA-L29C432, via FunkyHuawei.
More information, installation instructions, and full changelog here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/FunkyHuawei/comments/75uwkd/october_12_first_official_android_o_beta_for/
Screenshot of about phone here:

Compared to previous betas, this one is a bit more polished. There's no more device-identifying watermark on the screen. There's no more issue with choosing bluetooth profile (yes, you can choose aptX.)
It seems there is new functionality to connect to two bluetooth devices at once.
If anyone has any specific questions about it or things they want me to try, I'll do that and report back. Unfortunately, still cannot install benchmark apps.
NOTE: FunkyHuawei is working together with xda-developers to bring you articles about these builds, such as these:
https://www.xda-developers.com/next-version-huawei-emui-8-0-not-6-0/
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-oreo-emui-6-huawei-mate-9/
https://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-mate-10-porsche-design-confirmed-wallpapers/
UPDATE: I have ported TWRP to work with this Android O build. See here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/preliminary-twrp-3-1-1-0-mate-9-emui-8-t3687622
UPDATE: I was able to install 3dmark, so I will run it and post scores.
Slingshot extreme score is 1803.
Graphics Score: 1681 (Lower than Android N)
Physics Score: 2418 (Much higher than Android N!)
Graphics test 1: 11.6 FPS (Lower than Android N)
Graphics test 2: 5.3 FPS (Lower than Android N)
Physics section 1 42.2 FPS (Much higher than Android N)
Physics section 2 25.8 FPS (Much higher than Android N)
Physics section 3 13.4 FPS (Much higher than Android N)
OS Version 8.0.0
You can compare to Android N average scores here:
https://www.futuremark.com/hardware/mobile/Huawei+Mate+9/review
So we can see a very big leap in physics performance. Overall performance feels considerably faster than Nougat. It's likely 3d graphics are slower, though.
As expected, lowering the resolution using the new option in EMUI 8, allows us to get a much better frame rate. Scores with lower resolution coming.
Update: Some preliminary battery life tests indicate around 12 hours of browsing time on wifi with high brightness. Obviously this test is not very scientific and would vary depending on brightness and so on.
Does the AptX option actually really enable AptX? Did you try to stream some stuff to an AptX-enabled receiver?

I'm not very knowledgeable about it. How would I verify it?

I guess the only way is to try streaming something to an aptX receiver. The one I have does have some LEDs indicating what kind of stream is receiving. But not all devices explicitly tell you this.

Then unfortunately I can't test. I have a bluetooth car audio system but I don't think it supports AptX.
Update: I have ported TWRP to Android O.

Great news! Is it possible to install magisk on this version or we have to wait for special version? Tnx
Do you think it's OK to flash coming from FRomFuture (rooted & BL unlocked of course)? I'm currently using C567 data files, but it was originally a US unlocked L29-C432.

I think you'll want to flash a full L29C432 rom first, to avoid anything bad happening. I recommend just flashing the latest MHA-L29C432B196, as I can confirm it works if you use that as a base, then install with HiSuite / FunkyHuawei.
You'll want to flash using HiSuite which uses recovery1, meaning you don't want to have TWRP installed when you flash.
Benchmarks are not real world usage, 3D games should run on par with Nougat or even better, i hope they improve Vulkan support and all the bugs that the recent firmware has, will be gone.
Please check chrome and net browsing and how it switches between apps, Tekken 6 on ppsspp is the best benchmark to any phone, to discover if a company throttles cpu on purpose, Samsung does that heavily on any phone.
On the Mate 9 using B181, everything works perfect tbh.
Provide some UX screenshots
Have it tried at least 4 times, unfortunately it has not worked with HiSuite. 4 credits thrown out of the window. At the 5th try it worked but with eRecovery method.
Funny experience - actually not for sure - I tried it several times wasting credits with eRecovery and finally succeeded with HiSute.....
Most probably difficult to predict the right way....

HiSuite not working for me at all, tells me I have no internet connection, I'm using the new DNS, not luck, tell me your process, please
Edit: As above didn't work I tried a straight install over first android O using funky eRecovery with new dns and it installed, no needing to downgrade to N
deleted -double entry
Darn, wish I had an aptX product to test with!

I have mate 9 L29-C567 but I use fRomfture B194 using C567 data files. I rebranded to C432. When I booted up it went into erecovery and failed. I turned off the phone and used the erecovery from FunkyHuawei with Android O. It booted fine and now I am on Android O beta for C432.

future OTAs

Hi all,
I have a moto g5 plus which is not rooted but has an unlocked bootloader and twrp. If I get a security patch or Oreo update in the future do I have to do anything special to apply the update and if I download and reboot from the update screen what happens?
Thanks
You need to be on stock recovery for getting any type of update wether it is security update or major rom update.
If you download and update from update screen custom recovery (twrp) open and nothing happens or you get error in custom recovery (twrp).
Will the Oreo update be 64 bit instead of 32 bit which the stock rom comes with and does the moto z2 force come with a 32 bit rom because that's a weird decision especially since the snapdragon 835 is a very capable SOC.

Most likely not. It's unfortunate that Motorola doesn't make their OS 64 bit.

I doubt it. It's definitely easier to build a 32 bit OS but not much more work.
I don't think it is possible to update from 32 bits to 64 without erasing all data.
Don't forget that there are people using the device thst knows almost nothing about technology, so it could be a problem for data loss.
