Hello redmi users,
I'm a redmi note 7 owner for a few months with no real issue about this great device.
I've (unfortunately) updated my phone to MIUI 11 and from them I encounter from time to time a non replicable issue : I lost my sim signal randomly.
I first thought it was a problem with antenna reception but since last weekend the issue occured more and more often.
I totally lost mobile signal and I have to reboot to get back the sim pin screen. Switching plane mode doesn't resolve the problem. Once I've got the sim card icon with an X on top right of my status bar I have to restart my phone.
This problem become very annoying for the last 24 hours because I lost the sim detection a few minutes after turning on my phone with no reason ...
I switched my sim from slot 1 to 2 and vice versa but it doesn't resolve the problem. I have to rely on wifi connection but I can't call or text message people.
Does some other members get this issue and have any tips about this problem ? Is it software or hardware issue ?
I'll the sim card on an other device as soon as possible and I'll also maybe try a factory reset on my redmi note 7.

saya dari indonesia, pengguna redmi note 7, solusinya, handphone baterai keadaan 0% atau 1% ,lalu saya buka slot simcard, lalu handphone saya masukkan kekantong plastik bening, lalu saya letakkan di pemanas nasi (rice cooker) dengan keadaan masih ada nasi didalam pemanas nasi, biarkan selama 1-3jam, lalu angkat , diamkan selama ½jam, lalu masukkan simcard slotcard, lalu charger handphon ,lalu hidupkan, insyaALLAH berhasil, salam INDONESIA BENGKULU

Iya cobak di flash modemnya
sy jg punya problem yg sama , sudah flash modem, berhasil keluar sinyal, tp ada problem lain keluar, sy ndak bs buka menu privacy sama klo mau uninstall app langsung restart sendiri

Have you cleared the Dalvik/ART cache after updating the ROM ?

Probably you got wrong ROM instalation. What kind of your phone model ? Is it hm2014013 china version ?

hello friend, I just bought an android head unit without a brand from a local seller in my country, Indonesia.

the problems i face are:
1. voice comand can not work, even though the seller said that HU support for voice comand
2.I have an ime locked 4G sim card so it doesn't get a signal at all, this is because regulations in my country block IMEI from unofficial purchases. what I want to ask, is there a way to change the IMEI ??

I have this head unit which is called YT9217B.
I kinda hate it, its laggy, slow, etc.
Is there clean firmware, or something to fix this.
I just want to insert key, turn engine on, and music starts playing.
Now i insert key, start engine, and after minute or two, music starts.
Wifi connection is bad, bluetooth is worst ever.
Id love to have it like in original car systems. Just audio/video playback. Bare bones.
Please help guys.
Sadly, no stock firmware will solve your issues, however a modified firmware will, especially if you have some basic understanding of how to make Android run faster when rooted. See this post that might help you, as it did many others.

Hi guys, I need help with this model android 10. I'm trying to install a car launcher but I can't put it on default. After pressing the home button returns to the stock launcher. I have no option in the settings to be able to choose default launcher. I spoke to the seller and he said I can't set another launcher than the stock one. Is it possible to switch to another ROM? Can you do root to it? Or is a firmware found for this model? Thanks

Same problem here. The android version of Kingo Root was unable to root. The launcher cannot be replaced, nor can those already installed be removed. The device itself is ok, but you should get rid of that installed program/launcher/what ever. I would almost also argue that that is NOT an android 10 version, but something completely different.
Hello everyone, someone already has an idea. i have the same problem launcher cannot change with XL6107. I would have preferred to buy a Px6 :-(
Have you been able to find a solution for this? Bought the same unit and now I regret because of the nooby stock firmware. The device is pretty good for its specs, but can't do anything but the very basic with this firmware and I am pretty sure I tried everything to shut the default launcher off..

After reset hardware buttons from head unit must be reassigned. This is done by launching "Panel Study" in car's app under factory settings.
Maybe menu key can assigned to GPS then select launcher as navi app, found till now no other way. Does anyone has short audio dropouts while playing music from usb too?

om tv saya juga kasusnya sama kaya gt, ada no kontak gk biar bisa sharing2 klo udah dapet firmwarenya, saya udah sempet download tp blm ada yg cocok
