Volume bar on too long - Shield Android TV Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to either remove the volume bar or not have it on so long? It stays on for 20 seconds before disappearing. Thank you for any help.

HowTo Change press and hold delay

Hello
Can someone tell me please how to change the "press and hold" button delay.
My delay is set for 5 seconds. That is annoying.
I know there is some tweak but where is it hiding in the registry?
Thanks
Hardware press button delay or gesture delay?
Record delay
It's the record button delay.
When I press and hold the record button it takes 5 seconds till the VoiceRecord starts. I wand it to start after 2 seconds. any idea?
I think, this isn't possible, because it recorder launch time.
Just slow memory, a lot of running processes.
Press and Hold Delay for On Button
how about the opposite - lengthen the hold-down time it requires to start the phone (Titan). Now it can easily get nudged and it will turn on - I'd like to see a one or two second hold-down time. Any ideas?

ringtone volume +/-10%, not +/-20%

can change registry or any methods to change ringtone volume control from +/-20% to +/-10%??
There is no way to change this.
The best alternative is to bring up the volume screen (by pressing a volume button) and then moving the volume up and down on screen yourself. There are (I think) 15 bars, so they're each around 6% increase/decrease.

i know there are around 15 bars, but when moving volume up / down, it moves 3 bars per level, that means can't choose 1 bar or 2 bars only.....

That's why I said do it on the screen, not with the volume buttons. You can move it 1 bar at a time on the screen.

mine did that for a while. but it hasn't been doing that for a while now..
I find that whenever I change anything on the lock screen - widgets, backgrounds, app shortcuts - it'll take a bit longer to turn on after I press the power button the next few times. This is especially true when I use a live wallpaper on the lockscreen.

[Q] Trouble turning on - need help desperately :)

Hi guys. So this is my situation; my phone is currently turned off.
If I hold the power button, the Samsung Galaxy S4 logo appears in with the black background, then disappears and the phone turns off after 1~2 seconds.
If I hold the power, volume down button then I get the custom OS screen. If I then choose to restart from this screen, the phone restarts and the Galaxy Logo shows for around 6-8 seconds then disappears again.
If I go to the custom OS screen again, then press restart, I can then hold the volume up button and the lock button and the blue message saying 'Recovery Booting..' along with the same black Galaxy logo then the screen disappears after 1-2 seconds seemingly turning off, then it vibrates once after a couple more seconds then does nothing again
I can not get the recovery booting screen from simply holding Volume up and the power button, I need to do it after restarting through the custom OS screen.
My phone is also suddenly not recognising the charger being plugged in. There is no observed difference between attempts to turn it on with/without the charger plugged in.
The last time the phone was properly turned on, it switched itself off at around 4-6% battery left and from then on I have this result.
So, can you guys help?
Your power button is probably faulty. Try to wiggle it lose or replace it.

Lenovo K6 cannot be forcibly restarted / forcibly powered off

Hello,
I tried to install LineageOS 16.0 by following the instructions carefully
Unfortunately, when the phone is restarted, it will block for several minutes (more than 20 minutes) on the startup screen.
So I tried to reboot it, but I couldn't.
Here are the different manipulations I've tried:
- Press the POWER button for a long time (more than 10 seconds, more than 20 seconds, more than one minute).
- Press the POWER and VOLUME UP buttons for a long time (more than 10 seconds, more than 20 seconds, more than one minute).
- Press and hold the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons (more than 10 seconds, more than 20 seconds, more than one minute).
- Press and hold down the POWER, VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons for a long time (more than 10 seconds, more than 20 seconds, more than one minute).
None of these manipulations worked.
Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
Thank you,
Sincerely
