[Q] [DEV] How to build Ginger Keyboard from source?

So I have a clone of a repo for a gingerbread keyboard
over at
github: g1011999/Gingerbread-Keyboard
*its not my tree
I'm trying to implement a few sizing adjustments, and have made the corrections to the code, but can't seem to get it to compile.
Any idea what to do?

[Q] viewcomb kernel source

hi there,
is anyone of you in contact with vujke025?
i'd like to experiment with a dvb-t stick on the pad. so i need to compile the dvb-t stack in the kernel.
he seems to have his own source tree as he switched to a new kernel in v7.2.
thanks
Have you tried to PM him?

[COMPILE REQUEST]Kernel Modules for gamepad support

I have a modified franco's M1 kernel for nexus 4 that enables USB OTG in zip format by ziddey http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2181820 that guy is a genuis!
i have some compiled kernel modules namely hid-logitech.ko xpad.ko ff-memless.ko for nexus 4 from ziddey's thread above
and i also have some uncompiled(uncompiled for nexus 4) kernel modules(from linux 3.4) required for gamepad support from http://modules.libres.ch/browse/linux/v3.4/arm/
uncompiled modules(.ko files) module sources that need compiling are hid-logitech-dj.ko joydev.ko hid-dr.ko
Here are the sources
hid-dr.c http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/drivers/hid/hid-dr.c?v=3.4;a=arm
xpad.c http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/drivers/input/joystick/xpad.c?v=3.4;a=arm
ff-memless.c http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/drivers/input/ff-memless.c?v=3.4;a=arm
joydev.c http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/drivers/input/joydev.c?v=3.4;a=arm
hid-logitech-dj.c http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/drivers/hid/hid-logitech-dj.c?v=3.4;a=arm
If someone can please compile the modules for nexus 4 with the above kernel and provide it to me would be very helpful,
those are the modules required for usb gamepad support on nexus 4 with the above modified kernel
I donot have much free space on my HDD to install any linux distro or a VM and so cannot compile it myself, and honestly i am not that good in linux
it would be a blessing if someone could compile the kernel modules for nexus 4 from the source above
Ziddey from the above thread is busy at the time and honestly I feel he should be concentrating on improving the OTG more and that is why i don't feel like bothering him much with this
Much thanks and appreciation in advance
eagerly hoping someone can help :fingers-crossed:

Any one tried using USB Keyboard app?

It needs a custom kernel for HID output to simulate a HID devive. But according to @jcadduono it is disabled somehow.
But that was a 2016 post . I wonder if anyone built a kernel with the latest ROM and succeed with that which would be good to know.
