Upgraded through KIES to FROYO buts stuck at BOOTING & VIBRATES

I have just upgraded to FROYO through KIES after 3 HOURS of waiting.
But my is stuck at boot screen & vibrates..
i had tried the recovery but no use.
please help me...

Take the battery out, try recovery mode again.

Or you didnt uninstall your lagfix before updating.. If so, do a factory reset in the recovery console.

i did that by VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER.
it went into recovery mode i did every thing NO USE.
did wipe all data, factory, format sd card. Still no use.
i heard about hard reset VOLUME DOWN + (press & release) POWER
then clear storage.
BUT HARD RESET is not working for me..

i haven't installed any lagfix

If you are able to enter to download mode then try reflashing via odin it should work.

i had the same problem and just Vol Up+Home+Power then did a factory reset and then it started up normally.
i had the root & lagg fix when i updated to Android 2.2 Optus

how much time would it take through ODIN for flashing???

I got the same issue here. And my SGS can not boot into download mode by hold 3 buttons.
Anyone knows what's the option for me now?

I had the same issue it vibrated and didn't boot up. Remove SD Card, go to recovery via VOL UP + HOME + POWER button when you see boot screen releae all buttons. You are in recovery mode. Vol up down and select wipe data/ factory reset, confirm and your device shall boot.
My SGS booted after this and Yes I had OCLF lagfix installed, device rooted which I didn't remove prior to update. Now its fine again.

Now i tried to flash it through ODIN.
It was taking a long time so i stopped

From this screen you sholud be able to enter in downloadmode. And, but I'm not sure, from this screen Kies should be able to recover the phone too...
Any way:
Always is a solution.... Search here, on forum, about JIG method to unbrick Galaxy S. You have to made a 301kohms rezistor and connect it on 2 pins from a usb cable. You'll see more pictures, it's easy to made it...
This JIG rezistor will always put the phone in download mode. From here you can reflash with Odin any rom you want.
But, if Odin stopped, there are 2 possibilities: you don't have the phones drivers installed corectly, or (and most important) you don't close Kies from Task Manager before launch Odin. If Kies is runing will take the comm port busy and Odin can't use it to comunicate with the phone.
Always close all Kies applications before flashing with Odin. It's very important.

I did not find that recovery.....
does that have to work if KIES pops some recovery of os????

have you tried adb search youtube for a tutorial. you can reboot/recovery or download and much much more.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN DEBUGGING MODE WITH ADB. and i take out the sim card and ext sd card.
you use commands like c:\androidsdk\tools\adb reboot download
c:\androidsdk\tools\adb reboot recovery
c:\androidsdk\tools\adb reboot
also try apk 3.0 this lets you install apk's via your pc right to your phone, search for z4root apk on this site and use adb to reboot into recovery to apply update.zip
hope this helps, i also have no 3 button combo

Not sure why you would purposly stop Odin while it was running. All you are doing is creating a worse and worse situation for yourself by doing things like that.
It seems to me that you do not know enough about flashing, etc to even be concidering doing so, so... I reccomend that after you finally get your device up and running again that you ONLY flash through Kies and dont do anything else as you will likely end up with one issue after the other...

personally it amazes me when i read some of the horror stories on this site, i find it very couragous that anyone would attempt this without proper research, .
some of the complex hacks i am seeing just aren't needed, yet people risk bricking their phones. Anyway good luck to all who venture in to flashing, you dont learn if you dont try and without mistakes we would not learn as much so thankyou i know no what not to do hi.

I got into the download mode finally by the hairdryer method and load the original optus jg4 rom into the phone, then upgrade to froyo again.
Now everything works fine.

This is my post of what I need help with.
i flash a recovery .img to my lg and then had android bot so flashed stock rom, everthing was fine with phone but wanted stock rom d802f , downloaded that firmware and flashed to phone with lg flashtool r&d, flashed fine and on reboot i eneded up with this.
when phone has booted up it has signal and people can ring me and can access phone certain functions except apps.
Booted up with Lg logo but no sound
main screen cam on then ( ALL AUTO TEST-FTM MODE CAME ON SCREEN ) Can not access main screen can only pull nav bar from top and access by this only. Exit Button on (All AUTO DOES NOT RESPOND)
i have flashed different stock roms and nothing works still get same when booted on each rom.

try a factory reset, sometimes files are left over that could conflict. thats why usually its needed to do a clean install.

Tried that all ready , same result when it has booted up. thanks any other ideas

redo the flash and check again
this time use lg's tool and repair recovery.
mind you everything will be formatted so backup your stuff from internal sd.

Have you tried re-downloading the KDZ? it could just be a corrupt download. Download it again on a reliable internet source and flash it again. If you still have theses issues, i would just send it back for a replacement if you can. Something important has been wiped or corrupted maybe.

to turn off completely you need to remove the back cover and remove 7 screws and then remove also the battery cable and putthe cable back in. no other way.

yes, the phone needs to be fully shutdown and he wont do that cause he restarts just normally, either you got 2 options. take out battery or drain the battery. when you shut down the phone tell me ill provide you 2 files.

I fully discharged the battery. Volume down, connected to usb, the phone is registered. No google packages are available. vol + and vol- do not respond to. vol + vol- power reboots again but again the boot screen. Adb device reads. At the moment when I start again for some reason or force straight to the above picture comes in.

Hello guys....
I'm having the same trouble as the owner of this post!
The story is as follows:
I tried to Root my phone and ended up screwing something most probably it was the TWRP old version.
Anyways now the phone is stuck on the "Your phone is booting" mode
The situation is that you can not use any of the BUTTON methods coz the phone just reboots back into the same screen.
When u drain the battery and replug into the charger it turns on automatically and boots into ANDROID but no GOOGLE apps and no KEYBOARD on screen.
Please, can anyone be constructive enough to read the above and give me a solution coz I have been reading throughout a lot of threads and no Solution to this so far?
Note:
Phone is in Unlock mode
FRP is Unlocked too
Don't ask me to use adb to get to bootloader or use keys to get there "coz it does not work"

Huawei P10 Lite - Bricked Device - Phone Locked - FRP Lock

Hello. I have Huawei P10 Lite and after installing a rom my device bricked and my bootloader locked. So, with PHONE Locked and FRP Locked I cannot flash twrp and rom. I tried DC-Unlocker but it didn't work. I paid it and nothing happened except that they took my money.. Any suggestions to what I can do in order to unlock my device or install a rom without bootloader? Please tell me there is something I could do, and fast. Thanks for your time and I hope that it is not the end of my phone..

Too bad that this only work if you are able to boot up and access the phone. And if you're able to do that, FRP unlock is a cakewalk anyway...

It only goes to eRecovery, but stucks there. I contacted DC Unlocker and they gave me back my credits, not my money.
My phone is locked and I need the unlock code for the bootloader so I could flash a costum rom. For some reason, their program doesn't give ME the option to read my code but in others it does. I am desperate and sad. I don't know what to do. My phone is f*cked, I don't know what to do.

In the search I found Warsaw-L01_C432B183_Firmware_Austria_Poland_Croatia_Romania_Macedonia_Serbia_Slovakia_Greece_Bul.. and update_WAS-L01A_C432B183_hw_eu.APP but not sure if they are the correct files. I live in Greece and according to my IMEI my phone was destined to Italy and was customized by Telecom. Is those the correct files? If they are not and somehow fails, will it cost my credits again or I will be able to try again without contacting them?

I have also had this problem.
Use dc and when frp is unlocked, disconnect your phone.
Use the service rom and your problem is solved.

My phone is bricked, I don't have installed any rom right now. And Bootloader - FRP are locked. What I need is, a sollution to either flash a rom without bootloader or to somehow read my unlock code for bootloader. Huawei used to provide the unlock code but in July 25th it stoped in order to provide more safety, but it seems like that they did more bad than good actually.

Use dc, when FRP turns green, stop dc with task manager.
Use hwota to install rom. That's how I succeeded.

FRP erase service WON'T remove Huawei ID and won't change FRP lock status on fastboot screen!
So, even if FRP is unlocked, bootloader will still be locked. So I won't be able to flash a rom.
(Also for the colours, they are already green now that they are locked..)

Buy a other phone.

I followed the instructions of DC Unlocker and I tried to flash with DC Phoenix, but my phone ended up in ERROR MODE..
At this point I don't have any option left. After a bit, I figured I can still go to fastboot mode but phone and frp are still locked. And if I try to go to eRecovery it gets again in the ERROR MODE. Every step I make, it only makes it worse.... Latetly everything in my life goes to sh*t and nothing can go well.... Sorry for any bother I made in the forum.

I fixed my phone. Now it is working with Stock Rom and System Updates are available.
Before I say how I fixed my phone for anyone with same problem out there, I am gonna inform you about my system info because it may be different for your phone.
My system info:
Phone: Huawei P10 Lite WAS-LX1A
Phone Model: Warsaw-L01A

So, this is how I fixed my phone:
1. Download Warsaw-TM001055_Board_software_general_Android_7.0_EMUI_5.1_05022DUU.dgtks
2. Flash Warsaw-TM001055_Board_software_general_Android_7.0_EMUI_5.1_05022DUU.dgtks with DC Phoenix in Advance Mode
This, fixed the ERROR MODE in phone and eRecovery and everything went to okay. No ERROR MODE.
After, that:
1. Download Warsaw-L01A_C432B179b_Firmware_Italy_Switzerland_Portugal_Netherlands_Germany_Nonspecific_Android7.0_EMUI5.1.APP
2. Download update_WAS-L01A_C432B179b_hw_eu.APP
3. Flash both files with DC Phoenix in Standard Mode.
5. Your phone is ready and working again with stock rom.
Link to the files you will find from DC Phoenix. It costs 15 credits to flash a file. Hope I helped everyone with the same problem.

old thread: I got the same issue, PHONE Locked and FRP Lock. And ofc it's soft bricked/stuck in neverending EMUI mode / Huawei eRecovery, trying to flash WAS-LX1A 8.0.0.376(C02)-FULL, rebooting and getting stuck again.
So there's no other solution than using DC Phoenix? Still?

Bootloop Android 10: enablefilecrypto_failed boot issue after recent update

I got an OTA security update few days back. The update was done successfully. Then I ran out of charge and the phone switched off during usage. When I charged and tried turning back it on, the phone got stuck in the android one screen and it rebooted. It again got stuck in the android one screen and the following message opens up in android recovery mode.

I found a similar issue in Nokia 7.1 after January update. The phone does not boot up. Is there a way to solve this issue?
I have some important data in my phone. Is there a way to recover them before resetting the phone?
Note: The phone is in stock condition with only usb debugging on.

Change slot, boot the device make sure there's enough storage available and then apply update.

Tried it and no improvement. Could you explain in detail so that I'll check whether proceeded correctly or will try again.
Is there any way in which I can recover the data even before the problem being solved?

At this point there's no way to recover your data, and the guide to change the current active slot you can find in the below link

The issue mentioned might not be similar but the solution you're looking for could be it I had a similar problem with a 7.1 that can't boot after a security patch update and everytime the update will download and after restart the phone will throw error and ask to factory reset I couldn't test this method on that phone as the person had set it up for work after a reset and willing to hold till he can visit a service center. And he said he didn't have much storage at the time of update so it got corrupted somehow

I tried the method I mentioned by changing the slot, my current slot is b and update is supposed to install on a, a is corrupt or something as soon I changed active to a the device will bootloop in android one screen and go to failed page and ask for reset after which it will boot on slot b, also tried to install the Feb SP manually which installed fine via adb but again after reboot it will act same, so the only way is to visit a service center or better pay it directly for a bootloader Unlock service to avoid any future software problems

R u sure bro....ost is detecting my phone though

emmc damaged device also detect fastboot... when u try to flash through ost tool u will get those error. check ost tool log data... if it say write protected than u should be sure emmc damaged

Same issue I was facing but is fixed
So what did I do?
Downloaded stock ROM and installed using OST LA.
Then the update was installing but failed. [I was trying from last 1-2 months but getting same enablefilecryto_failed message but finally I solved it]
I downloaded OTA from website of same update and installed via ADB.
After installin OTA, It said it needs to "Format data" upon reboot.
I formated and mobile now has "Stock ROM".
