[GUIDE][9.0][UNOFFICIAL] Resurrection Remix 7.0.2 [N920C/*] - Galaxy Note5 General

Welcome!
My intention in this post is to provide another combination for a custom ROM. After trying different other ROMs from other posts, I found a combination that fits perfect for me. These are the reasons:
- Good battery life (for me the best)
- Everything working perfectly (excluding the known issues: NFC, WiFi Hotspot, HWC? and camera crashing depending the used app)
- Hardware heys configuration (+RR configuration tool)
- Good performance
If that convence you, here are the instructions:
1. Download the ROM from the forum developers of S6/S6 edge:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...lopment/rom-resurrection-remix-7-0-2-t3936783
In my case I used the version: RR-P-v7.0.2-20190817-zerofltexx-Unofficial.zip
(Remember to remove assert line in updater script...)
2. Download the Note 5 kernel:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eSoVoNbN-YOsqcpDFyC2pIAkHDlYs1aY/view
(kernel source: https://forum.xda-developers.com/note5/general/rom-lineageos-15-1-note-5-android-8-1-t3737405)
3. Download Gapps and Magisk:
https://opengapps.org/
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
4. Install it following the classic steps:
For me I do it doing a full wipe first, and then installing the ROM + Kernel + Gapps (+ Magisk) + wipe Dalvik / ART cache (+ cache)
*() are not necessary
Finally, I want to clarify that I didn´t work at all on the development of these parts and I want to be grateful to the ones that really contribute to that configuration (RR roms, RR for S6/S6 Edge, Note 5 kernel, Gapps, Magisk, etc.)
Note: I´m using an N920C, for the other models I can not say anything...
But, assuming the kernel is the same as Lineage 16... I will assume the same compatible models:
• SM-N920G
• SM-N920C
• SM-N920I
• SM-N920S
• SM-N920K (* seems not...)
• SM-N920L

You must have your post in N5 General and not on N5 Android Development

I don't have time now, but one day I will put some screenshots. The important thing for me is that there is no battery drain, which means that when you are not using the mobile, it is almost zero consumption. (Maybe 1%-2% maximum per hour?)

@Androids boys He's NOT the developer, and clearly says so in the original post. This is simply a GUIDE on how to get an S6 ROM working on the Note 5.
I am however concerned that there is no mention of where the Kernel comes from and who the actual Dev is, so I will be closing this thread for now until this can be rectified.

auto rotating Not Working
Can somebody test this kernel (only for this Omni)?
Its latest ChronoMonochrome (of course full credits for him and TC) but for Janice, I'm wonder how this working on SGA..
http://www.mediafire.com/?cdhx1h4td1s0o4d
Another kernel to fix not saving CPU governor after reboot and possible fix for rotation/proximity, just flash on Omni ROM:
http://www.mediafire.com/?jmevhccmxjh1m1d
You can move some extra CPU governors from system/lib/modules to autoload folder if you want have more (cpufreq...ko) or other module and do reboot.
thanks now rotation/proximity worked

On different phones has its own environment for reading the memory card as well as the port means among others it was. My opinion!
Hi ... @PolishVodka. Thank you for giving new life to this legendary device. On this occasion, I would like to report and ask you some questions, namely:
1. Why is the maximum CPU setting becomes 800Mhz? Is it safe to raise (OC) to 1000MHz?
2. In the last build, I don't see SuperSU app in the app drawer. If indeed it is placed in a setting/ SuperSU separately? Is that normal?
3.
I also find BBM app cannot run at all in the last build. I wish there was an improvement in the next build. it's caused BBM server problems. I'm really sorry for it
4. Is there a quick solution to repair the problem "optimizing app 1 of 1" with long time. I wish there was an improvement in the next build.
Thanks in advance.
Well, i tried the latest build with the new kernel.
Everything seems to be working fine, except that i'v been experiencing lags often, at least while roaming.
Thanks for your hard work

[ROM][6.0.1][Nubia Z11 NX531J][UNOFFICIAL][GizROM] Lineage OS 13.0

Italian Project Team GizROM presents Lineage OS Unofficial ROM for Nubia Z11.
#Version 1.1 Features

#Changelog 1.1
- bug fixing;
- general optimization;
- updated Lineage OS.
#Download
- http://forum.gizchina.it/index.php?/topic/667-nubia-z11-gizrom-lineage-os-edition-10/
#Instructions:
You must register on the forum to be able to download.
IMPORTANT: The procedure described in this guide requires executing complex operations which, if performed incorrectly, may harm your device. A good experience in modding is recommended before using the following guide. I and the Staff from GizChina.it will not to be held responsible for ANY damage to the device.
#Prerequisites
- Nubia Z11;
- Last Package Lineage 13 from GizROM team;
- Package Gapps (arm64, 6.0, nano);
- TWRP installed.
#Procedure
- copy Lineage OS GizROM and Gapps .zip files on the phone;
- enter the recovery (press simultaneously power and volume- button)
- clean the data partitions, cache and Dalvik cache;
- install ROM from TWRP;
- install Gapps;
- reboot the device;
- thank the team.
#Future Plans
- Updates every 2-4 weeks.
- OTA support.
#Notes
I have personally tested this ROM and currently running it daily. It works way better than the unofficial CM posted in xda last year and does not suffer from the wifi/data swapping problem. Given the recent problems on mokee and the losing SIM problems I strongly advice you to use this.
I will be updating this page when the new update comes out.
#Disclaimer
I do not own this ROM, all credits go to the GizROM team.

hi bro, thank you for your colaboration, i have CM 13 installed, how i read, i have only wipe data partitions, cache and Dalvik cache, no wipe system is that right?
please confirm to me for put this rom to my z11.
thank you in advance

I can confirm that switching from mokee or cm does not require system wipe. I didn't do it coming from mokee (18/11) update. I cannot tell from stock, but it would probably be better to system wipe as well in that case.
Very nice ROM, lot of features.

Runs very smooth and stable. Every other cm13 rom i had had issues with mobile data except this rom
1. Wifi is weak (hotspot strenght is horrible)
2. No OIS in video recording, 1080p60 fps not working. (I think, that international Nubia camera app will be better.)
3. battery life needs optimization (idle battery drain)

Thank you for information, bro!
Some bugs / missing features :
- no NFC
- Bluetooh on / off toggle doesn't have persistent state, unlike previous version of CM. When u turn on Bluetooth, and then restart phone, it will go back to default off state again.
On another note, it would be more relevant if the devs start work on LineageOS 14.1 instead of continuing with 13.
Well, it looks like this thread is dead, so assuming no updates were being done on the ROM.

Yes I know. GizROM is not at fault, they're just merely sharing the ROM, it's the community that is directly involved with the ROM seems to have abandoned ship for the Z11. Currently running on Mokee. It's by far the most stable AOSP ROM for this phone I have encountered. Too bad it is pre-rooted, so some of my banking apps cannot be used.

@brunorochaa00 Why do you keep creating new ROMs when you do not, or can not support the ones you have previously released? They all pretty much have the same bugs. Have you been successful with building the official kernel source? Have you tried? I have, unsuccessfully. I usually build kernels fairly easily, but this kernel seems impossible. You post a new ROM then disappear for days to build another one. I would suggest you pick a few and stick with them. Just my 2 cents.
EDIT: I truly do appreciate your efforts, but building ROMs as a hobby just for the sake of building them, without supporting them is not good for any of us. If there are other support channels for some of these ROMs, please let us know.

I sincerely apologize. I certainly was not telling you what to do by any means. Just making a suggestion.
Regarding the kernel, Great news! I have not seen the updated PE thread. I will check it after this reply. Curious to know, what was the trick to building the kernel? I tried some kernel patches, but none helped. I keep dying in the build with vdso errors. Grrr!

I'm gonna push a build now, this will fix any APN related issues. Sorry for this, I will test my builds a little bit more careful next time.
Any more bugs, please come in my PM (@rk_134 on telegram), and your message should be like this to avoid a block:
ROM: crDroid 8.x
GApps: insert gapps used here
Kernel: insert used kernel here
Bug: insert problem here
Log: insert logcat here.
Replace to your needs. Without logcats, there is a high chance I will ignore your issue/block you.
HOW TO TAKE LOGCATS!
Method 1:
1. Install adb drivers with driver signature enforcement turned off (google)
2. Do buggy function (e.g if data broken, toggle data switch)
3. adb logcat > broken_function.txt
4. Upload logcat to https://ronaxdevil.github.io/logcatTrimmer/
5. Trim, download and send to me.
Method 2:
1. Install matlog
2. Run buggy function
3. Save logcat
4. Send to me (no need to trim)
MTP Transfer doesn't seem to be working.
Thanks for keeping this old device updated.
The beta android 12 rom is not available in the official website. Can we expect continued development?
Thanks a lot for the ROM, it seems to work well, and worked well in 11. I still had to add my apn manually but not other issue so far. Patched everything with TWRP without issue.
