Need help about downloading kdz file for pie update... - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Dear everyone, I have been trying to download the kdz version of Pie update for h873 (H87330b_00_OPEN_CA_OP_0917.kdz) from either lg-phones website or lg-firmware (fans) website, but the max speed I am getting is 6 kbs/s (my normal downloading speed is 1 MBs which I actually am getting on other downloads). I have no idea why. I have tried using different ISPs, different devices such laptop or cellphone, but still the same. Can anyone please share another link for this file from where I can download it.

Use eagleget!

Problem with updating H870DS over LG Bridge

I am trying to update my lg g6 h870ds over LG bridge it is update from 03.08. but i am constantly getting message "the update cannot be downloaded because there was a problem with the server"
Does someone have solution for this problem, thanks in advance.
I have the same problem, I am upgrading via LG Up at the moment. See https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73288571&postcount=225
Sigh... Another thread on this subject. Really? The solution is that LG fixes their servers. Can anybody here do it? No? Well, too bad. Let's start another thread so that we can discuss it in depth.

adding 203.247.157.64 pkg03.lime.gdms.lge.com to the host file will work.
I tested, but download very slow 200kps for a ~3Gb size. Takes about 5hrs
Other method is using kdz, the link is from here https://www.reddit.com/r/lgg6/comments/6rcn5t/lgh870ds10e_update/
If you have IDM use it , takes about 30'
then use lgup, https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
and undercut https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/uppercut-lgup-loader-g5-variants-t3511295
After install lgup, run undercut, you won't get any error.
Don't forget to choose upgrade option before proceeding if you don't want to loose everything.

LEX727 EUI Version 5.8.018S Windows 10 Driver Issue

Got the phone from Amazon a few weeks ago and have tried to do an OTA update since it only had 5.8.018S on it; however when I try to an OTA update it says I have the latest version. So I was thinking about pushing the newest update from my Windows 10 computer, but it says it's not recognize. I've played with USB debugging off / on and switched from MTP and PTP modes with no luck. Anyone have a clue whats going on with it, so I try the latest OTA or other ROMs?
LeEco is going bankrupt and has shut down US operations along with OTA servers, the only way it's going to get an update is if you ROM it with a compatible ROM from here.
So I need to updates to be able to unlock the bootloader? I can not find 5.8.19S anywhere - any ideas where to snag it?

Having the same problem, just found this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73593519&postcount=7
and somebody, who tried:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74147818&postcount=23
Have you got another solution?
Edit:
It worked for me, i´m on 5.8.019s now!
Here's what I found for the stock ROM's. Also figured out what was going on for doing a local update. When I changed the name to update.zip and got it to the phone it would be listed as update.zip.zip. Through Astro Manager on and renamed back to update.zip.

Here is the links that Edward Keefe is sharing from his Google Drive:
5.8.19S https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2EAg2WU3OwpejROS3piZG43SVU
5.8.20S https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2EAg2WU3OwpVC1WcUxERmpRLXM
5.8.21S https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2EAg2WU3OwpS21QTEplYnE4Vlk
I have tested all three of these on 3 Lex727 phones with zero issues.
18s can be unlocked with the same procedure as 19s...

Help needed to flash LG G6 [H87110o]

Hi everyone,
Just a month ago I purchased what seems to be an AT&T branded LG G6 from ebay. The seller assured that despite the latter the device would've been usable in the UK (where I reside) and that is true as I can use my sim and make calls and send SMSs. I lately faced the charging issue due to moisture and fixed it by purchasing a new charging cable, but I the view of that I also want to flash my current firmware to a Uk unbranded version.
I visited the following [wesite](https://lg-kdz-firmware.com/download...10l/18642.html) to download a GB kdz file for my device but I was then taken to this other [website](https://lg-firmwares.com/) where I located an [EU Oreo kdz](https://lg-firmwares.com/downloads/d...477f64fee0d181) file. I then thought I might as well get this one and flash once for good.
I then downloaded LG UP software and tried to flash my device. Initially, I was facing the 'can't load model' error which I then fixed with the [uppercut software](http://www.**********.com/make-lgup-...uppercut-tool/). Once ready to flash and I get an error message reading "error: kdz file is invalid H871 -> h870".
Can anyone help me with this? First of all, I'd like to say, despite all the props to the developers that created these awesome tools, I couldn't find a single official and complete guide on the LG UP tool. Can anyone please provide me with an accurate guide for LG UP?
If the kdz file that I'm using is the issue, can you please provide me with the right firmware files?

Guys so I tried my hand this, I downloaded the Huawei firmware finder on the phone and followed it to download it directly to the phone via proxy. the update went through and then Failed on installation (( now it boots on recovery but im stuck , I tried SD card dload to try get it to manually update itself. the closest firmware I found was not the same model as my model itself it was MLA-UL00C17B363 thought it would work but when it installs via recovery it fails at around 40 or 50 percent....
my model itself is MLA-UL00_C17B170 ,

LG V20 F800K has an error with LGUP Patched

I am using LG V20 F800K, Android Nougat, rooted with DirtySanta. I am following this guide to root on Android Oreo.
However, when I used LGUP Patched here, I encountered the error "DLL for F800K10e is invalid. Please, install valid DLL package (*. msi). for the model." (see attached image).
Please show me how to fix this error?
Also, @xcl0udx, I want to ask: At step 4, when connecting my phone to the computer, does my phone need to turn off and go to Download Mode? Or still turn on, in the main screen?
Thank you very much.

I have also encountered this error, the way to fix it is to carefully examine the USB cable and use LGUP Dual Mode (can be found on Google).
Dual model lg up doesn't give this error?

Hi
Thanks a ton for saving me from the mental pain, I was in. I also have the F800K as yours and I had upgraded to pie but it was torture to the phone. When newly installed, it was smooth on phone but had a noticeable lag but after few months of use and plenty of upgrades (play store services, apps & other stuff) it had become very painful to use and not to mention the horrible battery life due to OS using a lot of resources. Previously I had an even worse experience with oreo and pie was a bit better than oreo but I wanted to come back to nougat so direly.
The normal way of using LG UP (with & without uppercut) didn't work. I used the LG UP dual-mode as you mentioned and it worked. I did a step by step downgrade, from pie to oreo and then to nougat. Everything worked fine and now I have a perfectly smooth phone. Thanks to you.
